"Oh? What a coincidence, you're the first otter like me that I've met," Abel replied and finally turned to fetch the cloak, taking off his glasses and carefully rubbing them on the soft material before returning them to the tip of his nose. "And I think I prefer Morgana. It's a pretty name," he said as he returned his attention to her with a smile.

When he reached for his cloak, she grabbed her tail and brought it up to lick the bite wound gently, wanting to make sure they at least stayed clean when she was out of the water. She smiled at him when he complimented on her name, "Why thank you! Abel Nightroad sounds like a very distinguished name as well!" she said.

Abel smiled. "Well, I think it's a mouthful," he said and looked at her tail. "It doesn't still hurt, does it?" he asked, the worry evident in his voice. He hated hurting others. Well, except fish. He didn't mind that.

She looked up from her tail, the long, red, wispy hair on it having settled over her head, "Just a little bit, but it will heal in time." she said reassuringly.

Abel managed a smile and nodded. "Well, I hope it heals soon," he said quickly and actually took in her appearance. She was... a little unnerving and yet she was too sweet in personality to make her at all scary in Abel's mind. All things considered, others might think him scary at first, too. "If you do not mind me asking, Morgana, why do your eyes glow like that?" he asked, tilting his head slightly.

She put her tail back down on the ground when she felt she cleaned the wounds enough and she looked to him when he asked. She sighed and looked away, "I'm sorry Abel it is...not something I like to discuss..." she said softly, her ears drooping.

Abel's ears and wings drooped as well and he frowned. "I'm sorry, Morgana. That was very rude of me to ask," he stood and padded to her, getting in her line of sight and tilting his head to one side. "Forgive me?" he asked, putting on a little, almost cheeky smile.

Morgana looked back up at him and smiled gently, "There is really nothing to forgive really. It is just...I don't really like to talk about my past...especially how I came to look this way." she said.

Abel smiled and patted her paw gently. "Nobody does. I should have thought before I asked," he said and sat back, looking her up and down, the look on his face studious. "Hmmmm, and what way would that be? I look more odd than you do. I mean, look at this, it's way to long," he said and rubbed his paws in his hair. Then he put his paws beneath his eyes. "And my eyes don't even match. And my wings," he said and did a halfway turn, looking over his shoulder at them, all the while trying to get a rise out of her. "Combined with the hair, they make me look like an ooooold otter. And I'm not that old!" he finished with a grin.

She watched him and gently giggled as he described himself, "You certainly don't look old!" she said. "I like your hair and your eyes are.....well, like mine, they are unique!!" she said as she reached out to pet his silver hair.

He smiled when he got the giggled out of her and her compliments. "Exactly! I thought your eyes were very interesting, in a good way. It looked like someone had taken two of those bright, little, red stars I see in the sky sometimes and gave you those for your eyes," he said, leaning slightly into her pettings.

A slight blush went across her face, having never heard her eyes described like that before and she smiled gently, still petting his hair, "Well....thank you...thank you very much." she said softly.

"Well, they are. And you're very welcome," Abel returned and his wings shifted a bit. He sighed and moved his head away. Him leaning that way was actually slightly uncomfortable. "So, what were you doing earlier, before I interrupted you?"

Morgana set her paw down and looked over to the water, "I was just swimming, nothing in particular. The day looks to be very warm and the water was cool." she explained.

"Ah, true, true. Have you had... breakfast, lunch, whatever period of the day it is," Abel asked, tilting his head to one side slightly. He still felt a little bad over the tail-thing, so perhaps he could make it up to her.
