I don't hate any of them. But I laugh at every single one. So yeah, I don't know if that counts for anything but...

Dude. "Absolute Beginners" is the worst song he's ever written, in my opinion. It's just horrible. I can't listen to it. There are a few songs I'm lukewarm about, but I just out-and-out hate this one.

Hmm, this is a difficult question for me. I have rather eclectic musical tastes, and I can usually hear the good part in any song. There are very few songs by any band that I flat out hate...
But for this Bowie fellow, I suppose I'll go with China Girl. The lyrics make me uncomfortable, although I imagine that's part of the point, and there's something about the tune that just generally grates on my nerves.

Ha, it's always nice to know someone agrees with you, hmm?
re: Absolute Beginners Although I'm rather neutral on the recorded version, there's a live version I quite like from the BBC performance Bowie did in the late nineties.

Oh wow. I like China Girl all. I just love his singing tone in the song and yes, I agree is sort of an uneasy subject, but I like it all in all.

Laughing Gnome is awesome heart Especially since it is the only Bowie song that my best friend will let me play when she is around. She thinks that I am a bit obsessive. Putting out Fire with Gasoline is one of those songs I put on when I want loud and fast music, the rest of the time, it's only ok. I'm trying to think of a song by Bowie that I don't like and it's hard... Rubber Band can be kind of annoying...

The song "Five Years" just bugs the hell out of me...not sure why. And Pablo Picasso, from Reality. Ugh. Just say, "no", kids. talk2hand

Brian Molko did a nice version of Five Years. I think I like it better than Bowie's.
