No. It wasn't very nice of them but what could he do? It wasn't as if he was gonna speak up just to follow his siblings. He felt as if he needed to be invited before he just whisked off after them. Of course, the sight of her wings brought him out of his reverie .
Not matter how strong he wanted to be, her never be able to sore like she probably could but, in her current state it seemed as if it would be impossible to watch her in action. She seemed so sad. So sullen. It wasn't right for someone as magnificent as her to be tossed aside like that. Where was her family? Her friends? It must have been lonely if that's all she did, sit around alone. Should enjoyed it but he didn't thrive on companionship like many others did.
"Why?...Did you get left behind too?" His small, wiry voiced sounded again in an attempt to get her talking again. He still failed at conversations no matter how many words he could get out.

Ru's words seemed to hit her straight in the heart and she felt a lurch in her stomach, an echo of a nightmare past in her ears and she closed her eyes, refused to let the tears come they hurt, tears hurt her so badly. She could see it happening again, hear her own cries and pleading, then nothing, just forms on the ground and nothing to be heard, just nothing.
"My family they...they were taken from me," by her expression it could easily be seen that taken meant in the worst of ways, "I was too young... I couldn't help them..."
It echoed in her mind how weak she was, she remembered that night, it was when everything started spiraling down, when her mind split, when she lost control, when she lost everything, all she ever wanted since then was to see their faces again, but she couldn't, they gave up their gift of immortality to save her.
She'd never see them again, ever.
It was all her fault.
"Though that was in the past, I will be more careful now," her friends were her family now, and anyone who threatened them would face Rage full force.
Besides wanting the nightmares to fade, all she wanted now was a home.

"Taken from you?..." That must have been horrible. He may not have enjoyed being around his family often, he could even dream of being apart from them because they were taken away. His ears went flat against his skull as he thought about such an awful predicament.
"I'm...sorry." He hadn't shown emotion before and it wasn't going to start anytime soon but at least he did sound sorry. Hopefully, that would be enough.
Shou hoped that she would find her family someday if they were still alive. It almost made him want to go back to his mother and never leave her side. His tail wrapped closer around his legs, starring at the ground. "My family...doesn't know where I am...right now."

"Yes....I couldn't even do anything to help them, I was too young..." had she said that already? She wasn't sure, time seemed to be warping and slipping around her. Sch a horrible thing had happened to her, and in the midst of the nights she wished to lash out and take revenge on one that might have been involved, and deal such the same fate to them as they had to her.
They had left her alone, they should have the same life as she...
Rage raised her silver eyes to fall on Ru again, and watched him, "Then go to them Ru, go now..." it was a strange thing to say, but perhaps it was for the best at this moments, memories were flooding back, Rage would have to seek refuge to seal herself away tonight.
"Go Ru, you never know how much your family, their presence, their touch, their scent, means to you, until they are gone..."
She turned form him, let her wings drag on the ground, a feather here and there falling out, though it mattered not to the black goddess, she head her head down, and kept on going.
"Family is what makes you stronger..." she muttered before going off from where Ru was.
Family is what made you stronger, and kept you sane and happy.
Too bad she had no such thing anymore.
