((Uh-uh, Sasuke don't play dat!))
The corner of Sasuke's mouth twitched. What did he just say? Did that sad excuse for a man just call him a d**k less fool? Sasuke leaned forward, his anger flashing through coal eyes that threatened to turn crimson,"You better pray that I didn't hear you correctly, Sai." Sasuke hissed Sai's name. He would never stand for anyone taking jabs at him, especially someone he didn't know. A bit of the insanity that had rubbed of from Orochimaru twinkled in the depths of his eyes. Sasuke would have no problem taking the stupid replacement apart right there. He then looked at Naruto.
"Eh, dobe. Stop flailing. It makes you look like an idiot." Prodding Naruto the way he did probably wasn't a very good idea at that point in time, but he was just acting how he used to towards Naruto. Nothing different there. He looked back to Sai, wondering if he would have to kill someone not even fifteen minutes into his arrival.

Sai looked at Sasuke, blinking as Naruto glaired at Sasuke.
"Is that all you have to say after being gone so long?" He asked, pouting. Sai wached intently.

Sasuke looked over at Naruto. What a way to distract him from mutilating the male in front of him, which he wanted to do so badly. But he refrained. He turned and took a step closer to the blonde. He pushed Naruto's lip in his mouth with his index finger. He grinned down at the younger male.
"Would you like me to ask you how you've been?" he paused and put one hand on his hip, leaning back slightly. He held up his other hand, "Because I could if you wanted me to." He flipped his hand and poked Naruto on the forehead,"You're still shorter than me, Naruto-kun." He had gotten accustomed to calling Naruto by that name. For some reason, he felt more obligated to do it after he left the village and the people he had come to actually like.
"You're taller than Sakura-Chan now, I hope?" Badgering Naruto was always pretty fun. Of course, that was the Sadist inside him acting up. He enjoyed seeing a flustered Naruto. It was funny, almost cute.

Kiba eyed the Uchiha as he talked to Naruto. He was on high alert as he watched, one of the reasons he was quieter then the other might remember. "What are you doing back here, Uchiha?" He growled, standing from the spot next to Sai. " 'Ey, Naruto, don't act so friendly towards that b*****d! You don't know if he's going to attack or not." Kiba wasn't going to be giving the other a chance to redeem himself for a while, "Not after all the trouble we went to. Or don't you remember that he almost got a bunch of us killed, and almost killed you." He looked at Sasuke, his dark eyes still narrowed in a glare. "So, what are you doing back here, b*****d?" He knew he was supposed to like Sasuke, but he was more worried about his friends, and village then a silly little club.

Sasuke turned his head to look at Kiba. He grinned, "Touchy are we?" he knew this would only succeed in angering Kiba more. Sasuke turned all the way around to look Kiba in the eye. He was going to get this off of his mind before it turned into something bad.
"Really, isn't this what Naruto-Kun wanted? He wanted to bring me home. The fact that you allowed yourself to go along only means that you want to make Naruto happy, right? I'll tell you this right now. I didn't come back so I could go around killing people. If that was what I wanted to do, the three of you would most likely already be in the great beyond. I came here to get things straightened out. You do not know what has been running through my mind or what may be so don't assume I am here to attack. I may not have accomplished the goal I left this village for quite yet but I have no reason to get rid of anyone here. Unless they challenge me, I will not fight. If you hate me, I understand why. If I were in your position, I don't think I would be very forgiving. I'm not asking for your forgiveness, I am asking that you do not judge what I am going to do by my past actions. Be suspicious all you like, but don't force others to feel the same." Sasuke had gone from joking to serious in a matter of seconds. His face was stone, the only thing that shone through his eyes were the tint of aggravation that was there and the sorrow that had never left him.

"If making sure Naruto doesn't trust you means he won't get hurt by you again then I'm all for letting myself go and say those things." Kiba growled. He jumped over the bench so he was standing closer to Sasuke. "And maybe if you had come back before then you wouldn't have to worry about enemies you may have made, Uchiha. You know you have enemies here or else you would come walking through the front gates instead of sneaking in some how." He looked back to Naruto and Sai. "So, if you're really not here to attack why don't you tell us how you got in. Maybe you could go tell the Hokage herself."

Sasuke chuckled at Kiba's comments. It was the kind of chuckle that could send shivers running down the spine of the strongest of Ninja. His eyes never left Kiba's, which would be opportune if necessary. The corner of his lip twitched slightly before he began speaking again. For reasons unknown to the outside world, Sasuke looked almost sad when he spoke.
"No one is without enemies and the actions that they take can make the amount of enemies that they have rise to higher numbers. When one makes a selfish choice, others tend to dislike them for it. I understand now better than most people that selfish acts get you nowhere. You may achieve what you wanted, but in the end, you lose more than you gain. Walking through the front gates would earn me a death penalty for people jump to conclusions. If I came in through the front gates battered and weaponless, near chakraless, I would be killed. People fear what they do not understand. I would be more than obliged to walk into that office right now and tell that woman that I am here and I mean no harm but that would earn me nothing but pain. What I have learned is people don't like to listen." Sasuke blinked, his eyes were glossy. He looked away from them all and looked to the sky.
"Forgiveness is the most difficult thing to achieve. At this point, I think I may accept death like the Earth accepts the rain. But, there are only three people in this world that I would accept it from, three people in this world that my feelings have grown strong for." He looked back at Kiba, "And they are the reason for my return. I'm not here to attempt to gain forgiveness from you or anyone else. I just want to let them know that I realize the stupidity in my actions and that I accept any punishment that they may administer to me. But not from anyone else." Sasuke turned to look at Naruto. A sad smile spread across his lips. He shook his head a little, as if he were trying to dispel something. He looked away from them all once more. He looked to the trees.
Sasuke stepped towards the tree he was looking at and rested his hand on it. He traced some of the bark with his fingers, "I didn't expect a welcoming attitude from anyone. I am only here to see for myself if what everyone dreams of can actually be a reality. I'm just here to see if there is acceptance in the heart of at least one person. That's all we want, really. When it comes down to it. We just want to be accepted for who we really are, not for what people see us as." Sasuke's back was to the other three now. The hand that hung at his side was now a clenched fist, "That's all...we really want, isn't it...?" he whispering seemingly to himself.
There, on the ground before him, was a single damp spot the size of no more than a raindrop.

Kiba blinked at the tear drop on the ground. He looked over to Naruto and Sai, having no idea what to do. This wasn't the Sasuke he had grown to hate since he had left the village. This was a different Sasuke. He really didn't know what to do. The Inuzuka took a step forward and reached out a hand to place on Sasuke's back. He stopped, his hand hovering inches from Sasuke's back before he quickly placed it down. "Hey, Uchiha, what's wrong?"

Sasuke felt Kiba's presence hovering behind him before he even felt the hand rest on his back. Sasuke almost pulled away from the Inuzuka, but he decided that that would only make his situation worse. He relaxed a little under the touch of the other and shook his head a little. How was he supposed to respond? He was shocked himself that he had allowed himself to shed a tear in front of others. He hadn't cried in years. Sasuke turned slightly so he could see the other in his peripheral vision. He saw that Kiba probably felt as awkward as he did at that point in time.
"Its nothing. I just feel that..."Sasuke let out a quiet sigh,"I don't think I was prepared for any of this, despite my telling myself I was." Why he had decided to be a little open with anyone. He hadn't been in at least three years. It felt kind of awkward.

Naruto looked at Sasuke, his eyes wide. Sasuke has shedded tears and he was talking, and saying such strange things, yet they seemed to mean the world just to hear them. Sai looked up at Naruto, "Ask him." He smiled.
Naruto nodded, walking over to Sasuke and placed his hand on his shoulder, "I won't fight you, or tell you to leave, because I have waited so long for you, but I won't forgive you yet. You have no where to stay don't you? Do you want to stay with me?"

Sasuke looked over when he felt the touch of another. He had recognized that touch, the slight pressure of the palm against his arm. He looked to Naruto. He couldn't bring himself to say anything when he heard the other speak. He was afraid that all of the tears that he had held in over his life would come pouring now if he said something, so he kept his mouth shut. He just gave Naruto a little nod then looked away from the blonde. He dared to whisper a phrase that he rarely used.
"I'm sorry." he mumbled. He couldn't bring himself to look back at Naruto. When he looked at the other now, he saw all that he had done wrong, all that he had thrown away. He was being offered a second chance, a chance of redemption from those he had betrayed. Why they offered, he didn't know. He just knew that not everyone would offer the same. He dared to look back at Naruto.
"I probably can't go home anyway."

Kiba watched from a spot now a bit aways from the Uchiha. This realy wasn't the Sasuke he had hated. He looked over to Sai, hoping for some sort of clue as to what to do. Sai was more the type to know things like this. Not the INuzuka who got rejected by everyone he has asked out, both male and female.
