Mee awoke within a comfortable sized room on a rolled out futon.

"Why can I never talk to boys. It does not even matter if they are what I like." She sighed dramatically. "He was pretty though. Very pretty. Too pretty. Even so, I could not even get a complete sentence out without sounding dumb."

"I do not want to have to marry my cousin." Mee rolled onto her stomach and yelled into the padding of the futon. "I want to talk to boys!" She failed to notice the presence entering the room.

She said as she crawled out from under the docks

She trailed off once she saw who she knocked into . Standing up she circled the girl as she questioned the girl.

Mee collected herself. "I am fine. When do we leave? What is that creature with you? Who was the man that answered the door? Can we leave soon?"

Mee blushed in slight embarrassment. "Ah, sorry. Yes, tomorrow is fine." Then remembering something she had forgotten. "Is there a weapons place nearby? I could not travel here with my polearm."

“An English girl” she said with narrowed eyes “ My father has truly sunk to a new level. Mr. Ellery wouldn’t deal himself with…” she paused as she looked over the person in front of her “your status”
“So what did he offer you to come down to find me?” she said as she sat down on the docks.
‘I have to find a way out of this, the ship to Terranova Pausania leaves tomorrow’

“Captain we are coming into port” a voice spoke after knocking on the door.
Carden looked up from his maps. 'How long has it been since'…shaking his head he left his cabin and went onto the ships deck.

" What the hell are you rambling on about?! I do not know your father, you or .. whoever this Mr. Ellery is. I have nothing to do with these people." she said her hands on her hips as she glared down. " And my status is just fine. God, are all you french people like this?"

Mr. Ellery sat in a tall backed chair swirling the red wine in the glass. The servant in front of him cowered as he uncrossed his legs.
“What did you say again…” Mr. Ellery began
“Th…That Ms. Aldaine did…didn’t co..come do…down to the function” The servant cowered more as a dark look came over Mr. Ellery’s face
“And” Mr. Ellery goaded
“Th..That she is pre…presumed Mi…Missing”
The Servant shirked and dodged the wine glass that was meant for his head
“WELL THEN FIND HER…I DON’T PAY YOU TO SPY ON THEM ONLY TO HAVE HER MISSING” Mr. Ellery took a sip of bourbon to calm his nerves “fetch my items and prepare my horse I will be leaving to the aldaine residence within the hour” he paused and looked down at the servant. A sinister look came over his face “I have some parents I need to…console” he laughed as he exited out of the study.

“Only the Nobles” she began “the commoners are quite nice the baker down the stre… wait” the broke her train of thought “what do you mean you French people.”
Standing up she confronted the petite fille standing in front of her “I’ll have you know that my family is…” she broke off as a commoner ran up to her

Grabbing her hand they made there way to the mansion on the hill.
