.[the first step.] Boy, am I bad at keeping track of things. I'm not even sure how long ago I got to this island. I'm pretty sure I should be...recording this stuff, y'know? (Am I allowed to write in slang? Hell. This is my journal. If someone has an issue with it, I'll kill 'em fer reading it.) Well, I'm quite sure I'm supposed to be doing this. Like, you know. For historical purposes. When the school saves the world and stuff. Hahahaha. What a load of crap. We're all kids, here. How could anyone expect that much of us? (Especially as we are all teenagers and teenagers are some of the more obnoxious, bull-headed creatures on earth.) I've hardly met anyone, actually. Banish hasn't really been outside my room. Maybe I shouldn't judge. (Yeah. Right.)
So, the ride here really wasn't pleasant. At all. It has come to my attention traveling by boat is truly one of the shittiest forms of transportation someone has ever invented. I was seriously ready to curl up and die. Oh, the waves! Back and forth, back and forth. I'm not sure what on earth set me off, or rather, why those waves set me off. I've lived through much more disturbing, stomach churning things. It wasn't even like the sea was that violent. Ug. I mean, even Banish looked frazzled, and he's a cat. Cats do not get sea sick. Maybe it's just where we were from? (But what would that have to do with it?) We've never been on a boat, either. Well, a raft, in a dead river. Hardly a comparison. We just hung near the rail the whole time.
I recovered quick enough, though. Met an elf. I think he had pet ravens. (Banish did not like those, let me tell you. I was half expecting him to pounce on those birds. I was half hoping he would.) I think the man was Professor Dante. He was confusing. I'm not sure if it's the good, challenging confusing or the obnoxious, show-off type confusion. I suppose, if he's a professor, I'll figure out soon enough. (Oh, gods. Classes. I cannot stand the thought.)
At least there's room to board. This place really isn't looking so bad.
Here's until next time.

.[that other kid].
Well, I met my new roommate. He's...um...what's an appropriate word for that little squirt? Studious? Yes. Definitely studious. I think that might be all he thinks about. Oh! And he's really, really sheltered too. I mean...dude! (I'm pretty sure some of my sayings went riiiiight over his head. Poor kid. I bet his parents kept him under a rock. Oh, parents these days. They're so protective over their little cherubs, they don't even realize they're ruining the chances to like...interact...in the REAL world. Then again...I don't scientist live in the real world.) He doesn't even skateboard. Well, I guess that's not his fault. He didn't really understand what a Playstation 2 was. Man, how I wish my dad let me bring mine with me. He said it 'wouldn't be conducive to studying'. BAH.
At least we have a mall around here. I convinced RuiZhi we should decorate our room. (I mean, dude. The walls are WHITE. W-H-I-T-E. White.) I thought we miiiiiight get in trouble for painting the walls purple or blue or green (or a combo of all three, so I suggested posters. (I don't mind getting in trouble, you know that. But I'd feel bad if I got RuiZhi in trouble. I think he might cry. He's like...a little China doll, or something.) So we're going to get posters of rockstars and babes. (I wonder if RuiZhi has actually ever met a babe. Well, they do have a mall. There's hope.)
I almost forgot! I guess RuiZhi has this sister. She seems to like the same stuff I do. Well, at least as far as music and game consoles go. I'll have to meet her some time. Oh yeah, I also need to teach RuiZhi to skateboard. Does that mean I have a To-Do list? Oi.
Well, all in all, this will an interesting relationship. (Oh, horrah~)

.[cute blond ahoy!].
I need to watch where I'm going when I skateboard. Like, I really do. I totally ran in to this kid by accident today. I felt sort of bad...like I had just kicked a puppy, or something. No, exactly like kicking a puppy. He was all blond and blue-eyed and all sprawling everywhere and his books went everywhere and...yes. You get my drift. I almost felt bad. (I know, right?) I didn't help him sort his stuff, though. I didn't feel that bad. I mean, he was walking in a bad spot. It was a fifty-fifty fault kind of thing.
So anyways, this kid's name is Elijah and I think he's just that really nice kind of kid. He wasn't mad at all that I nearly ran him over. And he thought my skateboard was awesome. (He was so totally right. She is the sickest thing this school has ever seen. Next to me. But that's besides the point, really.) He doesn't board, though, nor did he seem interested in it. At all. Minus points, kid. Skateboarding is a way of life, and in my humble opinion, the only good way of life for any proper teenager.
...at least I got him to agree to help me get together a game of football for all the boys. That could be very interesting. Given, the only other boys I know are Elijah and RuiZhi, but I did come over here with one other boy. I wonder how many kids are here, anyways? Would we have enough for a real match, or would it have to be some weird kind of scrimmage thing? Whatever works, I guess. I mean, we are on an island. I don't know if we'd even have room for a soccer pitch. Though, if we're on an island, there must be a good beach around here somewhere. Beach football?
Awesome.
