I think it may have something to do with a "I think I could change them" attitude, or they are just attracted to some sort of seemingly "strong" or something like that kind of act. I couldn't say for sure.

If I witnessed such what could I do? It's up to her to make her decisions, if I was asked my opinion I'd say I think she's in a crappy relationship nonetheless.

Maybe the girls are afraid to leave their mean boyfriend. Think of it this way I guess, why do those girls in some music videos agree to get abused?

Shallow people are shallow.

In other words, people in general do like someone with good looks. However, it's often tough to find someone that is appealing and yet doesn't just want to get in your pants. Self explainatory eh? domokun

If a guy even attempts to hit/slap/abuse me, he's on my list.
My "gotta ******** pwn!" list. lol.
I wont stand for such nonsense.
But in my ignorant option,
YOU guys dont date the sweet chicks.
and yeah sure they aren't always hot, w/e.
It's not only the guys that are being rejected.
And btw, mean ppl date mean ppl.
Plus ppl don't go into a relationships saying their agenda.
thats the main problem w/ ppl theses days.

It usually has something to do about the woman's past. If (not for every case) her mother was abused then she will go for that type. Another case would be whether or not she has been with that person since her early teens because then that is the only kind of she will look for subconsiously. That type of woman would also be subconcious about herself.

Personally i don't like guys who are "bad boys" Or don't treat me with the respect i deserve (which is a lot). I like the nice guys, and the kinda geeky guys who will be disgustingly sweet with me, and cheesily romantic xD I'm not a romantic person, but i like it when the guy is really romantic and sweet.

I have a friend who always ends up with these guys who are assholes. She was with a guy who used to hit her and now she's with a total loser who is selfish and leaches off of her money.

I find it strange why girls don't analys the guy before they go out with them...

I like sweet, romantic, geeky, caring, family orientated and who's nice to his mother! They also can't be one of those guys who would ever get violent physically or verbally.

My boyfriend even when he is angry he never calls me anything crude, rude, or insulting. He does however get a tone with me but i tell him when thats happening and he takes it down a little. He's a sweetheart.
