My first set were red clear ones, they rolled nothing below a 15, except on a few occasions. I now have to use a friends old set... they don't roll the best, but I still don't crit miss.

my dice rolled like really bad, whatever number i needed to hit it would be the number below it. i got ordained online and i blessed my dice and ever since they roll great when i had a level 19 rouge my sneak attack rolls were 6s and 5s. we do have a white die that is cursed unless it is being used by a NPC. also whenever somebody brings fungions to the game table somebody always dies. just something odd i wanted to share.

I knew a friend who had a set of clear red dice that our Sci-Fi club called "The Cursed Dice" that would always cause players to roll really low, such as the d20 pulling of nothing higher than a 5. However, he found a way to manipulate those dice into getting crits - he rolled them against his hand.
We watched him make his stats with that method...he got straight 18s for his stats..D; I think he rigged it.

Mine is that I only get a predetermined number of good rolls, like if early on i get a lot of 14s and above, the rest of my rolls will suck

I made the bag I hold my dice in. It's suede, and has a celtic knot button that holds the thing closed. I keep my dice in there, along with the character I'm playing for that campaign (if I'm doing more than one campaign, after that one's played, I switch which one is in it).
There's only certain stuff that doesn't tend to work often. But, most of the time they like to behave. Like the time I played with my druid... and got crits on the Call Lightening over a party of goblins we were up against. whee

Superstitions, not really? Habits/Quirks, plenty.
Dice sets should theme with the character. For example, when I play L5R, if I'm a crane, I use blue dice. If I'm a Shinobi, Black. If I play an Imperial, jade.
Never use a "spin-down" die for any check.
And most importantly to me, I never leave a natural 1 or 20 showing; it's just bad taste.

I have never seen my boyfriend roll lower than a 15 on a d20. When he DMs, over half the time he rolls a natural 20 (thankfully I am not in those campaigns). Me, on the other hand, seem to roll quite horribly (in one game never rolled higher than a 9). My superstition is, he is stealing all the luck from my dice, because when I play without him, I roll just fine... sweatdrop

my silver and emerald d20's treat me just fine in combat and saves. But usually when I'm in the least amount of danger, that's when they like to play pranks, like a natural 1 >.< Internet dice don't like me very much though.

My group has some weird dice superstitions. Many of our members believe that their dice are lucky so long as they can get them to roll a few high numbers in a row and then not allow anybody to touch them and therefore wear off the luck. I have one friend that has rolled many a natural 20 by rubbing his die on his junk before rolling. Me, I believe that getting new sets of die is essential to their luck since they have not been influenced by any other persons.

I have two sets of dice, one of which my DM uses and one of which I use (they usually get stolen by other players who've failed to bring theirs)...I thought the ones I used (they've got this really cool pattern on them) were luckier. Turns out I was wrong. When you're pitting a group of level ones against a dragon and the DM rolls several natural 20's in a row, I'm starting to want my dice back...

I'm very unlucky usually unless I'm the DM then I'm scary. We have a friend who has cursed dice if anybody but him uses then no crit EVER I have never seen anyone crit his dice roll over a 4 on his D6 or over a 2 on his D4. He likes to lend them out ALOT. twisted

I have a d20 that i found in my friends car that was left there by one of his friends. it's blue and the 20 is two interlocking D's. it's the best dice in the world. all the high numbers are grouped together on one side and all the low numbers are grouped on the opposite side. My DM keeps saying that he is going to disallow the use of the dice because of how many crits i get with it. I call it my cheater DM dice. It's AWESOME mrgreen

That's a spin down counter. Most of them were made to keep track of life totals for Magic: The Gathering. Generally, they were designed with the 20 to be the same icon as the set icon. I hate using those. They're just not.... right.
