Amanikitty Nanami.x.Yuki Amanikitty -C'est la lune qui conduit la danse...-
My dream home... would be one of those small Victorian townhouses. Because I get scared when there are many too rooms. xDDDD
It would be a brownstone building, with 3 or 4 bedrooms, a parlor, a dining room, and a spacious kitchen and basement. It would have an attic too, since I've never had an attic before. xDDDD And it would have a medium-sized garden. The area wouldn't take up too much space, and be bordered with black fencing and a gate.
-...quand le soleil sera couché dans ton âme froide.- That sounds like a great house! But i have always liked bigger things, but your house would probably be more cozy^^and inviting. @ cross, Lucky! where i live not many people own old houses just a whole bunch of 2-3 story new ones ><; I like houses with character -C'est la lune qui conduit la danse...-
Yeah, there's this pretty small Victorian house near me (maybe I will take pictures of it one day when I'm bored. It's like, two or three floors, and it's a nice yellow. x3 The only thing I don't like about it... is that it's right next to a church. x_x I personally hate churches. I forgot if anyone lives in that house, or if it's abandoned or just there. xD
But yeah, my comfort zone is just a whole floor or two to myself, and I'm usually the type that doesn't like going into a room by myself unless I can get complete silence or if I can get something to do in that room. And if it's really spacious, I'll be by whatever's cluttered in that room.
-...quand le soleil sera couché dans ton âme froide.- Oh it sounds so pretty, please do take piccies and share them! heart @KawaiiRini oh really? Oh our country house is smack in front a church ><;; @ Blackberry Oh i have always wanted to adopt a baby and if i can't to that then sponsor one! Thats great! hopefully you will post the pics, I would like to see them 3nodding

Aww, thankies~ heart
It would be nice to live in a smaller house. Only, instead of adopting one, I want to experience pregnancy. Although, that's a long way off from my age. I'll wait to have kids until I'm in my mid to late 20's. >.>

As much as this will sound weird just bringing up, I kind of hate Europe (but I like Loli, go figure), and all pro-Euro, "All things European in a appearance are more attractive than anything else" ideals. Yes, I think my mixed heritage and has mad me a deeply conflicted individual. So I think I'd rather have a home in Japan which reflects more traditional Japanese design and architecture ^^ But I've always wanted like a really huge house so I could have like a ton of rooms that I don't even use so that I could put sheets over the furniture and play some pwn games of hide-and seek. Preferrable at least 1 miles from my nearest neighboor with a huge garden, a bathe-in pond (line an onsen) with a waterfall, and one of those bush mazes. ninja

Lacy window drapes, velvet-covered chairs with very baroque-esq ball-and-claw feet, nice white and flower-patterend china. Its kind of odd. lol. Tatami mat tatami mat MERLOT-RED VELVET CHAIR tatami mat sliding door STAINED GLASS LAMP... I think she started doing it when her and grandpa got married. He's German and I think she just thought it would make him feel more at home. lol. I'm glad she did it, or I probably wouldn't like victorian-ish stuff as much as I do today.

-C'est la lune qui conduit la danse...-
Well, they've been abandoned since the 70's, I think. That was the last time someone were actually in them. Besides that, no one tried to fix them up; some of the buildings' rooves caved in because they were never really weather/rain-proof, and the city or the old owners locked the gates and no one's allowed to go inside.
The city wants to demolish them so they can put a supermarket there for the project buildings that are across the street from them, but I dunno what's been happening with that plan so far. I don't want them to go, that's for sure. <333
I mean, I would never touch that block, ever. They're beautiful, and it's enchanting to look at it from across the street; but if you go up to the gate fencing (once part of the barrier is a brick wall; the rest is iron fencing), you'll get such a haunting feeling. It's so cool.
I think they shouldn't have a supermarket there, nor let the buildings go to waste. It'd be cool if they got the architecture and everything of the original buildings right, and create replicas and make it into a museum or something. But to renovate the buildings alone supposedly costs millions of dollars, so. 3
