"I dunno but isn't it cool, Lasz? Look, they're all walking in a little line!" She giggled to herself, eyes sparkling as she looked on in wonder. Just like little soldiers, hup two, hup two, hup two. Their music was so alike, it was strange. The cub begin to hum it to herself, over and over, all her energy concentrated on them.
The ant that clung to her brothers paw, after a bit of, erm, persuasion, flew off and landed near the others, but they gave no notice to the new cripple, marching in their lines. "Lasz? He isnt' moving? What do you think is wrong with him do you think he'd dead?" Gharadi stuck her head close to the limp ant, prodding it gently with a soft paw. The reaction was nothing like she expected, the cub flying back yelping like mad. Her tail tucked and ears flew back as she held her paw, whimpering. It bit her!

((Sorry for the lateness! D8 School beat the muse out of me xP
Anywho, Ronan now suffers from low-latent... inhibition, I think it was. It's when you process EVERYTHING you see and you can't help it.))
Well there it was. A familiar voice. He cracked his eyes open, and trained them on Jumuu. The days that they had spent inside the den after the cubs' senses had all come had given Ronan ample time to observe everything - and literally everything - about the den, and he had looked into his siblings' and parents' faces so many times he could memorize every single detail. If he closed his eyes, the mental image he could conjure of Jumuu was correct, down to the last hair and the sparkle in her eyes. Seeing that familiar face out in the vast world was a relief, and for a moment, he concentrated only on that and tried to shut everything else out. The knowledge that there was just so much out here was starting to make him dizzy.
"I weren't going anywhere." Ronan said with a small shrug. He squinted down at Jumuu for a moment more, taking in her slightly confused expression, which clearly told him that she had yet to process what had happened to her when she had tripped over him.
"See, they're alright." Jiza nudged Juke with her nose, settling down into the grass as she watched the cubs. Already they had split into their own little pairs, with Gharadi and Laszlo curiously inspecting an ant mound, and Jumuu having dashed off to Ronan's rescue. She watched the little blue cub carefully. She had always gotten the feeling that there was just something strange about the little boy, but she couldn't quite put a finger on it.

((D: sorry guys. homework was just ridiculously piled on me this week.))
Laszlo stared at the little ant's crumpled figure, unsure if he should be pleased or distraught. His sister was obviously unhappy that the critter had been injured, but he was just happy it was off him. The way the crawling legs felt on his skin was something he wasn't sure he liked. He bit his lower lip, not sure what to say. He didn't want to upset Gharadi, that was for sure. "Uhm.. I think it's okay." He nodded, though there was a skeptical look in his eye. The marching tune that the line of ants was creating was much weaker when he focused only on the injured one. Before he could process another thought, though, Gharadi was thrown back several paces with an explosion of noise. Laszlo jumped a little at the suddenness of it all, staring from the crumpled form of the insect to the whimpering form of his sister. How could that little thing have possibly caused her any pain? Dang, was he ever lucky that he got it off.
After simply staring at the insect for a few seconds, Lasz lumbered to his sister, a look of worry on his face. "Are you okay?!" He looked her over for bumps and bruises, paying especially close attention to her paw. He couldn't find anything wrong with it, which was odd, since sheseemed to be in so much pain. "What's wrong? Where are you hurt?" He had a look of horror in his eyes now, getting more and more uneasy as he realized he had no clue what was wrong. He looked around the area at his other two siblings and parents, unsure of what to do.
Juke nodded, though he was still a bit antsy about it all. If he had it his way, the whole group (including Jiza) would be in the den until they were adults. He felt an undying need to protect all of them, and suddenly needed comfort. Watching his little ones pair off and explore their new, dangerous world, he rested his head on his mate's shoulder, looking out in front of them through worried eyes. "There's so much that can happen to them, though." He sighed, tracing circles with his paw. He could've stayed right there for a while if his little Jiza look-a-like of a daughter hadn't yelped in pain. In a flash, he was off to the rescue, reaching his daughter in a few short paces. "What's wrong?!" He looked from his son the the whimpering form of Gharadi to his mate, just unsure of what to do as Laszlo had been.

((._. I hate fickle muses. Sooo sorry for the hold up guys!))
Jumuu took a few moments to catch her breath, her brother looking innocent above her. Oh man. . . . What trouble he could have been in! If he had kept running, and running, and running. . . . Oh, why on earth didn't her parents go after them? She glanced over Juke and Jiza, her nose wrinkling and scrunching in to a bit of an annoyed face. How could they sit there so calm when their son had almost bolted out in to the horizon!?!
Did they not care that they were in a super huge world with lots of colours, vibration, and music? Did they not know that the songs of the world could lure them out and never release them? Oh no. Jumuu wouldn't let her siblings fall pray to the unknowns of the outside world. . . .
Not on her watch at least.
The protective - and yet very scared - cub finally released a sigh and rolled shakily to her paws. "Sure you weren't," she agreed softly, a touch of sarcasm lining her voice. What if something had happened. . .? What if the great unknown had swept up her brother in an instant? What if, what if, what if. . . .
Ugh. Why couldn't they all have stayed in the den?
At least in there it was safe. . . . er.
Reaching over she licked her brothers face, as if trying to reassure him and herself in the process. At least he seemed to be in one piece - that was good. Tugging on his ears, she stood and tried to guide him closer to where Gharadi and Laszlo had gone. Jumuu much preferred to stick close to her family than to amble and wander without a care. She was a smart little cub, and understood the thread of danger and the unknown. Perhaps her father's uncertainties were merely highlighted in the black cub. . . . but with time, perhaps, she'd relax.
Though scaredy-cats often lived long lives. . . . their lives often became sedentary and uneventful.
She couldn't stick by Jiza and Juke's side forever.
She took a few steps back the way she came, pausing to make sure her brother was close at hand. The little grey female did take a moment to acknowledge her other siblings and tried not to heave a sigh. She turned her back for one simple second and already they'd gotten in trouble. . . .
Oi ve!

((Whoops. D: -totally didn't see this thread-))
"It huuuuurts!"
The lioness let out a pitiful moan, hopping towards her father on three legs (for her injured paw was still drawn up against her chest) and burying her face against the fur of his leg, letting out high-pitched whimpering noises. This new, stinging sensation, she didn't like it one little bit! And by her nature, the cub was going to make sure that everyone knew how much it hurt, even if it was just a little bite.
"D-Daddy, i-it bbit meee!" Gharadi whined, shoulders shaking as she held out a paw in proof. Her tail was tucked under her form, ears pressed back.

Ronan giggled as his sister made sure he was alright, and then hopped onto his paws after her, making sure that he could see her and all her white spots. Perhaps Jumuu was right. It was better to take things slowly and not crash right through them as he had.
He had only just realized that in his headlong charge he had missed basically everything he could and should have seen and now, he held his head up, looking skyward to count the clouds and watch the leaves sway in the gentle wind.
Jiza chuckled to herself as she watched the antics of all the cubs, and yes, perhaps even Juke a little bit. He played the part of new-daddy perfectly, and though she did share some of his worries, she was sure all of them would settle in to being a family just fine.
And then, perhaps, they could travel along once the cubs were a little older. They could see the sights, and hear all sorts of music coming on down the road, and together they would all take a look into the vast world in which they lived.
((Hopefully nobody minds if I consider this a finish post? It's been so long, and it's just easier to wrap up and head all their family RP over to the new guild and the Nchi lands xD))
