 Nanu heard the growl and rolled on to her side. Nuzzling her two white sisters, one by one in between them. Slicking her wettish fur around the other two.
her tail small, flipped on top of her sister with orange splawches. Then the one with blue spots. Her eyes opened minorly. Just barely; seeming as though they were stil shut. Everything was so blurry.. so nasty looking.. except for her sisters and the big moving things. She pawed around again and decided to lay on top of her other sister with black/orange/white coating. Trying to snug her other sister in with them.

Oni still felt a little annoyed about all of this and specially that she had to compete about the food as well...feh! oh well since there was more places you could get food from she guessed that it was ok to share with her two sisters then...
Her tail twitched a little since she was a little annoyed but she calm down pretty fast after she ate. She currled up next to her mother...she started to get used to this feeling of being somewhere else then from where she came from and the smells as well.
" Yeah i must say this was very unexpected to me...why didn't you tell me you where pragnent? "
Or maybe she hadn't been noticing as well? he knew that Cascata had never been pragnent before or had babies since he knew her since she wasa pup he tought he would notice if that happend. He peeked down at the three small princesses again they where all so small and cute heh he felt proud..
" Swim? yeah sure~~ i teach them when they can do much more then eat and sleep...so umm you wanna take the small girls back? "

Throughout the whole process, the white and blue female kept to her daughter's side, just as she silently promised. And, as each form came forth to the world, she found her heart speed up slightly at the sight of her first grand-pups. She could never be more proud of the beautiful daughter and the life she brought into the world. When it was all over, she licked the female's cheek before stepping away, letting Demani take part in the process while her blue eyes gazed soulfully down upon the pups.
"They are beautiful Cascata, every single girl...you did great my dear, did so great..." She smiled as she softly spoke the words, looking back to her daughter and her mate, smile growing across her maw.

-Cascata nuzzled her mother tenderly in return for the affection, thankful that she'd been there. Words escaped her, so instead she offered a gracious smile, and a soft whine.
Shifting in position to better make room for the wriggling pups, her eyes and ears turned towards her mate, sighing a little contentedly.- "You didn't see my belly was getting fat?"
-She laughed a little, sorry she hadn't mentioned it to him, but too thrilled with the events of the day to be THAT sorry. At the request, she pondered for a long moment, before nodding.- "We should take them back. We wouldn't want to miss their first fireflies."

Then all of a sudden some dust ws tickeling her nose and she had to sneeze witch made her roll over on her side. The pup probably looked rather silly laying on her side with her small paws pointing straight out with a fat little belly with milk in it. Oni made a growling sound again...why did her nose react like that?
But Oni was strong it didn't take her long to get back closer to her sisters and mother again. She tried to use those 4 legs she had but they didn't work very well more then crawling..
Demani still hadn't gotten use to the tought that he was a father now. That was a job he didn't really know how to do...but atleast it hadn't been 10 puppies in the litter 3 was just good not to many 3 was the prefect number he tought. And then he could also keep track of them.
" Ahhh maybe a little bit but i tought it was because you ate a lot...god i feel so stupid "
He laughed a little bit and then he looked at his mate...
" Oh yeah that would be to bad if they did so let's take them back later "
Demani felt really happy even if he was nervous of the upcomming future.

-A soft laugh escaped her, thinking Demani was very cute for not fitting two and two together. Had she been in his shoes, she probably would have been the same.
Lifting herself very slowly, to allow the babies a moment to unlatch from her, she leaned down and licked them reassuringly, waiting to see which Demani would be carrying.-

All off a sudden she got someone paw in her mouth she knew there was two more there from the same place where she came from. Because they smelled just the same. She pawed at the paw to get it off her face...she tought they where ok now since apparently there was enough for for all of them and well it could even be fun.
Atleast she would have someone to play with when she got a little bit older. After a while she started to groom the paw that gotten into her face before...she was really getting use to this now.
Demani looked closley at the pups when Cascata was cleaning them. They where all so unique one was grey and green, the other blue and white and the last one with the white and brown coat had to come fm his side. He didn't know if Cascata carried any brown on her side tough..
" You did a great job! but they are so small.. "
Demani smiled and decided to lay down too so the puppies where in the middle and one parent on each side. He knew he had been crazy and adventures when he was young so he just wanted to make sure no one of them got lost. Sure they where to small to go anywhere but Demani was not always the brightest..
" You want to rest a while or bring them back now? "

"They are very tiny. Like little meerkats, I didn't know babies were so little."
-Squeaking with pride and excitment she nuzzled them again.- "They are the most cutest puppies ever though!"
-Lifting the closest pup, the little girl of grey and green who would soon gain the name of Nanu, Cascata waited for her mate and mother to grab the remaining two, before she began to lead the way back towards the pride they called home. She couldn't wait to show her babies, their babies off! And she couldn't wait to start her fairytale ending with dear Demani.-
