She sighed once again, more deeply, as she followed him. Gerda didn't often believe in chance or miracles. There was the time when she was a pup that she and her brother saved a strangely marked pup, but still she thought it was coincedence as well.
As he said his name she merely nodded once that she acknowledged it. What use did she have of names if she couldn't even say them? Laos was the only one who truly understood her, and how she missed her brother greatly.
But, when this Tabansi wolf said her name, her TRUE name she felt her spine shudder from an unnamed chill. Had he known of her beforehand?
Or was he a spy.
She eyed him suspiciously, daring him to say something else. Something that would give this monster's true intention away. But, Tabansi looked as good nature as when he first came hurtling himself into her life.
So he really had just guessed it? Interesting. Still though she did not believe in miracles or predestined fate. This strange turn of events, his knowing her name based off an outlandish guess alone was...well it was merely another coincedence and nothing more. Perhaps if Gerda knew what was to come...
she would learn the value of faith.

Tabansi continued to pad along, looking over at her every so often. Admiring her white coat and strange muted markings every so often. She could not speak and somehow that made the experience that much more enjoyable.
Perhaps it was because she could not complain or question where they were going.
They just went.
And even the breeze felt more calm and serene. There was distant birdsong and Tabansi felt like all was right in the world. But, then they reached Gomorrah and this was the part he wasn't sure how to handle. By the look in her eyes he knew she would know this wasn't the place they were supposed to be. And it was the time his nefarious actions would come into light.
He took a deep breath and said, "This is your new home."

Gerda stopped, her eyes wide and full of confusion. This wasn't her pack!
It wasn't her pack!
She looked around, half expecting her family to come out and everyone to explain how the joke went. For she hoped upon hope that this was just some game that everyone was let in on other then herself. But by the look in Tabansi's face and the seriousness of the words he had spoke she knew this was no game.
This was truth.
And was this to be her new home? NO! It couldn't! Absoluetely not. She frowned and looked this way and that, hoping for something...anything. But she knew she had no idea how to get back and she couldn't risk getting more lost then she already was. This wasn't home, but...
she had no where else to go.
