Isn't the Imbolc supposed to be celebrated on February 2nd?

Yes sir, and in the Southern hemisphere, it is February. That's why we celebrate both Sabbats at the same time, because we do have a lot of members who live in the Southern hemisphere.
An' ye harm none, do what ye will...
O cool!

Happy Lammas

one of the ritual i know it's like for it you have children, you make a doll thing out of straw and hind a loaf of bread in it, (i don't really remember it all) and you case a circle and you have different food items at the compass point the only one i really remember is you have grape juice in the west. then you have your children open the straw doll up, to show like how in a way we harvest the food from the earth. Then you eat the bread with the food you used when casing the circle.

yeah i just remember reading it in one of my books

Well, we almost had something group planned but apparently that just... faded. Just a gathering.

Instead there are a bunch of 14 year olds drinking in my front room. SDgdfhss

Maybe I'll add more to the BOS... or bless the gerbils...

Either way, happy Lammas. smile

Right now, i'm over at my friends house. She is a Wiccan also and is actually the one who introduced me to the religion a few years ago. We celebrated Lughnasadh by casting our very first circle together. ^__^ Her mom doesn't allow her to practice the religion, so it was something that she really enjoyed. And I'd never cast a circle before because I'd never felt confident enough. But now I do. We performed the Cakes and Ale ceremony, and meditated. It was a great experience and we really felt connected to the gods. Along with that, we both made bread together represeting the first harvest, and we drew a huge picture in pastels representing the sun losing strength and the nights growing longer, etc. This has been the most fun i've ever had celebrating the sabbat. ^_^

Happy Lammas/Imbolc!!!

as well as celebrating i like to celebrate the elements on all the sabats too, so i draw what i think they look like, not what they look like, but an impression of them, or write something of what they mean something i do but yeah, lol i like too
