Borgan, from the original Lunar Eternal Blue for the Sega CD. He had these three floating orbs (if memory serves) hanging about him that would shield him and needed to be destroyed before you could directly attack him... all the while, he's POUNDING on your party with high level magic spells. I had to set my 2 fighters to continuously attack and then use my mages to constantly cast protection and healing spells. I swear that battle must have lasted an hour...

Lady Rayya My longest battle was in Dungeons and Dragons. One the final night of finals my college sophomore year, we had a massive "wrap up all the loose ends in the three-year long campaign session" We got into a battle that took us seven hours to finish. I've never seven so much mountain dew in all my life...

My longest battle was in Golden Sun 2, the optional boss Dullahan. Not only did it take over a year of trying to beat him I was at it for around an hour. I remember celebrating after finally beating him. 4laugh

That's funny because he was athe shortest battle i ever had in the remake of the game...XD

Er probably in final fantasy X-2 where your under Bevelle and you have to fight the Bahunbut thingy( atleast I think thats what it's called)

That's funny because he was athe shortest battle i ever had in the remake of the game...XD Oh yes, they toned that battle down massively in the remake to the point that I was very disappointed. They even comment on it in the game's strategy guide. I'm not sure what the reasoning behind that decision was, personally I kind of liked the challenge. Gave ya something to be proud of when you finally got through it!

Hmmmm, let's see... if I stick to adventure and battle games, maybe that was when I was fighting against the Omega Pirate in Metroid Prime, or maybe it was the very last level in LOTR:ROTK.
But if I include sports and racing, well, the hardest was the Gran Turismo World Cup in GT4. I entered the cup with a Cadillac Cien tuned all the way to the 1000 hp, but I only won after unlocking the Formula 1 car! As for the longest one, it was the Nürburgring 500 Kilometers. I hopped inside a Plymouth Superbird, stepped on the gas... and then I had to clear that race over 3 days, because it was taking so ******** long. confused

Xenosaga 3, last ES battle. The ES Levi takes an hour to wear down and he kills you right before you can get him first. I've done this one about 17 times so far and it's killing me. 17 hours lost!!

DarkAeonPenance Metroid Prime: Thardus -1:03 Interesting. I remember like beating Thardus at the first try! confused It was quite a while ago though. I gave this guy my Metroid Prime and he still doesn't gives it back yet. scream

I don't know if anyone has played Enchanted Arms, But I now I a new LONG battle.
I just beat the game yesterday and the final Battle, or battles were SO Long!
Not only do you have to fight a character known as the Queen of Ice twice (no healing in between btw) BUT you have to fight your main character afterward. Then after he calms down, you have to fight your last boss FIVE TIMES! And if you manage to keep your main character alive by the end of it, you have one more tiny battle ahead. PFEW, it look about two hours.
