The kids were fighting over who would get special training from Taka first ... Akemi hated kids. He would have commented, but Takasugi was releasing him. Not to be a fool he caught himself and let the water cover him. That was truly magnificent, water that is, it made him feel so at home. Well now that that was all well and done Akemi shook Batsu's hand as ordered and began to zone out. Apparently people were now getting help with jutsu, and a lot of it. Akemi was missing out. He decided to go for his weakest two. Replacement technique would be easy to learn, but for rope escape and cloak of invisibility he would need help.

"Takasugi-Sensei." Akemi paused as he was sure one of the brats may interrupt. "The uhh, Rope Escaping Technique. Its not really my bag of trick ya know. I was wondering if you could do for me like your doing for the kiddies and perhaps show me how you go about actually getting out of the rope?" God he hated asking for help, but if he was ever going to graduate he needed to do whatever was necessary to get there, no matter how degrading it may have been to him.

Kagamijiro stood in his stance as he stretched and got himself into form for another attempt at the Bunshin technique. This particular jutsu seemed to be giving him some trouble, but he knew he could do this with a little more effort and hard work. His dedication would pay off in the end and he would see the light at the end of the tunnel of hard work. With that determination in mind, he formed the hand seals, faster this time, and focused his chakra to form the clone. "Bunshin no Jutsu!" He said as he unleashed that effort to yield results. The results were another success, as a perfect copy of himself stood next to him. "Alright! Let's take a breather, and do that again!"

After finishing his moment of rest, and when he felt like he could safely do the jutsu again, Kagamijiro stood up. He felt ready this time for whatever might come his way. His form was right, and his knowledge of how to focus was solid, he just needed to keep practicing to perfect it. As he made the handseals, he took a deep breath and focused his chakra carefully. "Bunshin no Jutsu." He said as he expelled the breath and released the chakra to form an excellent copy of himself. His confidence was growing and he felt like he was very close to mastering the technique.

This was it, it would be his final bit of rest before his last attempt at that cloning technique. Kagamijiro smiled to himself as he went back underneath the shade of the tree to focus and meditate his chakra again. The process was becoming repetitive and it was starting to wear at his nerves. He wanted to be through with it, and his body agreed. It didnt exactly appreciate him for pushing himself in that last attempt. His chakra coil, however, was getting the work out it needed. Kagami knew that he would have to keep this sort of routine in check if he was to maintain steady and rhythmic growth.

The thought in his mind that kept him going all went back to the forge. The heat of the furnace, the pounding of metal, and the creation of weapons. It was like playing god in a weird twisted sense. You created, and gave life to a tool that would direct another man's path. He knew that after the academy, he would carry on the responsibility of taking a weapon forged by a smith, and it would guide his path, but for now, he enjoyed the shade and relaxation he was getting before the storm of trying to complete his first jutsu. It was almost as if the sunny day was helping him along with his training.

( 15 ) Ikasu decided to start some shuriken training because he felt like after learning a jutsu, he might as well do something that he was somewhat good at. He drew 10 shuriken out of his carrier and picked a massive tree away from all the other students to try and hit.

( 18 ) It hadn't taken him just one minute and he had already hit a bulls eye, the shuriken making a dull *thunk* as it struck the tree right in the middle of the trunk. Setting a standard for himself to hit every time, Ikasu drew his third shuriken and tried to throw it so that it didn't hit the same bulls eye point.

( 8 ) Lobbing the shuriken with his left hand this time, Ikasu missed his target but the shuriken swerved in mid air and curved toward the side of the tree. At least hitting the tree, Ikasu was satisfied in knowing that he could strike any target from the distance even with his left hand, which was supposed to be his worse one.

( 24 ) Attempting to throw with his right hand now, Ikasu hit with perfection as he heard another thunking noise emanating from the tree. Feeling confident now, he pulled out another. He wondered if any of the other students were watching his shuriken practice, and he wondered how they felt about his obvious ranged weapon superiority.

( 12 ) Just as he had before, Ikasu curved the shuriken with his right hand, and it didn't exactly miss the bulls eye, but it wasn't dead center where he had wanted it to go either. Slightly disappointed in himself, he knew that he should, as a Fuma clan member, be hitting consistent bulls eyes. What was wrong with him?

( 17 ) ( 18 )Ikasu was glad that in his generation there weren't any other young Fuma clan members around. He was performing at a level that was probably very disappointing to all his elders. The time that he had spent training so hard was almost for nothing as his hands felt stiff and unfamiliar. Angered by his inferiority, Ikasu pulled out two shuriken and threw one in each hand. His anger apparently fueled his skills, because they both struck in perfect unison and hit a bullseye mark. Somewhat happier now, Ikasu was almost out of shuriken, but he was feeling ready enough to be throwing more accurately.

( 7 ) With only three shuriken left, Ikasu knew that he had gone through the training quite rapidly. Wanting to have a good streak of last shuriken, he was a bit over excited and let the shuriken slip a little earlier than he should've. It flew straight from his hand onto the second ring of the tree and embedded itself near the bottom. Turning a bit red in the face, Ikasu hoped that no one had seen that.

( 15 ) Imagining as if a dart board was on the tree, Ikasu tried to hit the bullseye middle where some of his other shuriken already were, but he just missed the location by a single place. Sighing, at least he was making decent progress and consistently hitting the target. At the very least, he wasn't missing.

( 21 ) Pulling his last shuriken out of the pouch, Ikasu was definitely ready to impress anybody who might be watching his training, so he threw the shuriken as hard as he could and watched it whistle through the air and hit the dead center of the tree. Jumping up and whooping, he was glad that his final attempt had been a bullseye. Walking over and picking up all the shuriken, he was glad that he was done.

Kagamijiro Hideki decided it was time to train his body, and harden his skills so that he could handle more extensive jutsu. After having learned the Bunshin technique, he felt that he was a bit lacking in the chakra department, so he retrieved information from his class notes on how to better himself. They detailed in class about how burning out old chakra while making way for new would allow the shinobi to expand his chakra pool while new flooded into it.

(19) Kagami got up from the grass and place his class notes away before he stood ready to begin eliminating the old chakra. This concept was nothing short of cutting away so that something stronger and younger could take it's place. His hands clapped together, and he began to strain his chakra, expelling, old so he could replenish what was being removed. So far he was making excellent progress.

(15) The young shinobi took a breath after his first expulsion of energy, and then clapped his hands together again. He was going to put more effort and power into this attempt. However he fell a bit short of his previous success, but the results still brought along progress. He felt like he was getting somewhere with this tension exercise.

(3) Again, he took another breath before trying the technique out again. He was sweating from just the first two attempts, however, he was ready to push his body onward. He kept his focus steady, and his power constant, but he overcompensated, and didnt release hardly any of the older chakra at all. It was a set back in his training, but Kagamijiro wasnt going to let it slow him down. He was going to become a great weapon of the Mizukage, and anymore failures like that would be met with ill contempt.

(16) The young Mist shinobi kept up the hard work and effort, pushing his body as he focused his chakra outward. Kagami wasnt going to allow another failure in this training. He was going to keep on pushing himself so that he could fulfill his dreams. "Power... I need more...Power..." He grumbled through the strain of pulsing out and forcing the technique. It yielded success, but he was growing tired. The concept of mind over matter was to apply in this form of training. Chakra was a spiritual concept, so he had to ignore the limits of his physical body and press onward.

(12) He kept at it, and he wouldnt stop. Kagami focused and focused his power, as he pressed on with the spiritual tension exercise. He wasnt going to allow his frail form hinder him from excelling and growing. This determination was met with yet more success in his chakra growth exercises.

(4) As he trained, despite the mind over matter mentality, he faltered, and his concentration wavered slightly. This attempt being thrown off by sweat sliding into his eye and the burn causing him to swear under his breath, "Kuso!" He knew that again, he was being weak, which was probably expected of him by his teachers. He, however, had higher standards for himself.

(10) After regaining his focus from the sweat in his eye incident with the last attempt at focusing and expelling old chakra, Kagami took a deep breath and settled into a calm meditative stance. He would iron his focus to rock solid levels. But he was getting tired, and soon he would need to rest. His results were getting sloppier, however, they were successful this time.

(1) This attempt was disastrous, as he tried to press harder, and with more control, he ended up pushing too hard and giving himself a nose bleed. This was an embarrassment, one he would solve by making himself punch trees bare fisted until he was tired later on, he only hoped nobody had seen that.


(4) Again, his concentration wasnt all there in his exercise. Kagamijiro was just exhausting himself at this point, and yielding no results. He vowed to smash his toes with a forging hammer if he failed a third time in a row. Hopefully making such threats would make his body and spirit realize that failure wasnt tolerated, even by himself.

(16) The body seemed to respond to the self threat, as he managed to muster up enough focus and power to complete another expulsion of old energy. He felt like he was making some nice progress with the routine, but he was too tired to mess with anymore attempts. He now needed to rest his body and focus on what he needed to do to improve his next attempts so that he would experience true growth.
