Hawk gazes into her grey eyes before answering. Nothing wrong he said, only this. His left arm moves to her chin and kiss her slowly on her lips passionately. His right arm remains on her back balancing her.

Mairyela laughed. "Don't worry about it. Sometimes I take things quite personal. I have a hunch it's because my parents were hoping it was a boy, but had me instead. My dad used to blame the families misfortunes on me a lot." Pausing for a moment, she took a whiff of the air. Remembering the Accepted's scent was easy; she was the only female Wolfkin that she knew about in the Tower. Turning a corner, she went on. "He died about a year before I was raised. My mother died when I was seven." She chuckled. "Here I thought seven was a lucky number."

Coming to a flight of stairs, she stopped. Reaching into the neck of her dress, she withdrew a tiny sapphire pendant on a fine silver chain. The small blue stone shone in the light. "Blue was always her favorite color. This may sound odd, but thats why I chose the Ajah I did. This used to be hers." She had no idea why she was telling him this. She didn't even know if he was interested. Letting the stone fall, it hung low on her chest. Walking up the stairs, she followed the smell of Alina. "How about you? Any family trouble? The only reason I ask is because I would like to get to know you better. They say we become our parents when we grow up. It's a scary thought."

He felt how she answered his kiss and it made him warm inside. The bond flared in gold color which means she do love him after all. It was her that broke the kiss and look down on her feet. Had'nt he holding her then, she might have moved from him and once again look away, but as for now he is balancing her close to him. He could sense her confusion in the bond. Hawk raises her head again with his left arms. He just gaze on her face, she is so pretty. Be yourself for once Merc, even just when we are out of the tower, be just a simple woman loving a simple man. Forget for a moment that we are what we are and live the moments that we have for each other, he said to her warmly. I love you Merc and now i know that you love me too. I have been loving you since the very first day we bonded each other. His right arm is partly balancing her and partly caressing her backspine while he is talking to her.
