Renekai watched as her pokeball sailed back into her hands. She had missed. Oh well, there was sure to be another pokemon around here somewhere! Vulpixes don't usually go wandering around on their own, do they? Renekai gripped the pokeball, ready to throw.

"Venna! Get back over here! You did your job!" Jenette shouted as all the pokeballs went flying. Venna was a vulpix, hopefully Jenette could keep these things from attacking... "Nanook, you come out too!" As her vulpix came back, her ninetales emerged. "Anyone else with a vulpix or ninetales!? Maybe they can keep anything from attacking us!" Jenette called.

Kira was only breifely disappointed when her ball came back empty; however, the fact that Katie was still missing scared her more. What if she'd been captured?!
Katie, however, had gotten smart and had hidden herself under one of the other wagons while the balls were flying. Now the little pachi scampered through the legs of other trainers, sniffing out for her human's scent.

From all the flying pokeballs Lenne could only assume that there was a pokemon that had stopped them.
"Darn..." She thought to herself. "Oh well..."
Lenne looked down to her pachirisu and started petting her. She then took out a small brush from her bag and began grooming Piper. It was about all she had to do right now anyways...

She looked sideways at Kai, Aren't you going to try for it?" Kai blinked at Riza, still not fully awake but she stood up and started rolling up her sleeping bag. "No, I came here for the good pokémon, I'm waiting till the end. Besides, a vulpix isn't one I would like."

((Congrats!))  Fin had thrown the Pokéball without thinking – she didn't want a Vulpix for herself. Though, she did know someone who'd like one. Nonetheless, the ball was bouncing back to her. Perhaps another Vulpix would turn up. Pokémon seemed to travel in packs, after all.

"Nice catch!" Lamen applauded, getting Mattress back on track once the throwing was over and the missed pokeballs returned to their owners. Plenty of pokemon had been caught already, she mused. Had even one attacked managed to escape? ... The idea of an bunch of trainers traveling together, ever growing stronger and more numerous in their team, got into her head. Now that I think of it, something like this would make a good video game, she thought.

Ridley held on iron-tight, not letting Soulcrusher race off, and finally managed to tempt him with a berry back to somnolence. The Tauros was dripping with sweat, though, and Ridley looked around to see who had caught the root of the problem-- that Vulpix. Looking back to Soulcrusher, he petted him and fussed over him. "My poor boy, that wasn't nice at all..." he cooed, then remembered that Liam had been on Soulcrusher too and peered around for him.
"Liam?! You all right?"

The ball quickly returned to the trainer's hand with nothing in it. "Ah wells there'll be more soon enough." Pippeh said with a smile as she waited to see who got the vulpix.
