And no, you don't suck at battling... Rhyperior just wouldn't die. Your Clefable scared me, because I thought I'd never be able to take it out. Plus your Ninetales' Confuse Ray didn't allow me to test out Tangrowth. XD

Perfection isn’t even in the argument. I'm pretty inexperienced too. The thing is, my best friends are Masaru and Saisho, so I'm always watching them battle, learning new tactics. My battle against Meta a few days ago, was actually my first competitive battle. =)
And I always lose to Sai and Masaru. Of all the times we've battled, I've only beaten them once each. Surprisingly with the team I went through the game with. XD
But coming here, I was afraid I would lose every battle I fought. And even though I do lose a lot of the battles, there's still the occasional win, so you can't give up or anything. You're bound to win eventually.
