Lies And Salamander [[ Sorry but you calculated the damage wrong. Namiko used a water attack so the damage was 10 x2 = 20 so the battle with the Shieldon should be over. ]] (My bad, you are right. So here is the exp for this) Exp gained for Namiko = 20 Kyo, and Nyx = 14 It would splash wetly as the match would finally reach it's end. Though the entire point of the fight was to find out where the amber was ...but as the pokemon's eyes whirled it was quite obvious it would be some time before they got that answer from him.

Jade rushed forward to wrap his arms around Namiko's neck and then hugged her. He still thought she had done really great. Plus her last attack was the thing that had managed to knock the Shieldon out. She wondered what they could do to wake the pokemon up. The battle had probably been pretty harsh for it but they had won. Glancing at Namiko, they could just keep moving forward. Sighing, he then motioned for Namiko to let the Shieldon ride on her shell. It was time for them to keep moving forward.Namiko felt the small amount of power that surged through her. The battle hadn't gone amazingly well but still in the end she had triumphed. The Shieldon safely on her back, she moved slowly beside of Jade. What new adventures would they come across now?Nyx glanced at Kyo smirking. The battle had gone well but the Lapras had proved to be stronger. He let his tail brush against the white and red furred pokemon. ["Looks like you were beaten again."] he remarked smugly. The Zangoose had landed a very weak attack on the Shieldon and the Lapras had all but blown the pokemon to smithereens. ["But I guess you're right. You proved a point. She's a force to be reckoned with."] Kyo glared at the Umbreon. That stupid trickster was getting on his nerves. At the same time though, when the pokemon had seen a team mate in trouble, he hadn't hesitated to leap in and help. ["Oh so you have a soft side? Never thought the great Nyx would help out others."] he said, a grin forming across his own face. The Cacnea's arm would shake as they were pounded by the needles, it seemed like it was a never ending attack. Time seemed to slow as his arm's slowly dropped to his side's as they grew weaker. The last thing on his mind was the beautiful Chikorita that had been dancing before him as the needles fired into his chest and sent him flying backwards into a tree.
Scorpio jumped into the air and glided around on to his trainer's shoulder as Elijah looked at the poor Cacnea. "He fought with everything he had and I commend him for his spirit and drive," Elijah said as he walked towards the Cacnea, "I am sorry it had to come this my little friend, but you stood in my path and I need to finish my mission here."
Elijah kneeled down in front of the injured Cacnea, "If I had more then one Potion I would use it on you, but I can't risk my Pokemon on helping you, but I promise you one thing, if I find Oran Berry and you are still in need of help I would try to find you and help you out," Elijah got up and began to walk away, there wasn't much he could do now and he need to keep his mind of the task at hand. He called back Scorpio as he walked further into the wooded area.
(I'll edit this post if I'm not allowed to puppet the Cacnea. And I'm not sure if I have to roll, but I do so just in case.

(No, you aren't allow to puppet the Cacnea, but I will let that go for this one. Because, it was simply his end, and I have no problem with it. Just don't do that for anyone's else pokemon or you might find yourself in trouble)
The Cacnea would be knocked out cold as he didn't really hear the trainer's words. His eyes rolling around, it was a good victory for the Gligar, but it hadn't come without a price. He had taken a slight injury as well that would follow him throughout this area.

Though it hadn't been thought of at the moment, the eyes of the forest saw what they had done and they acknowledged it only ....as kidnapping as a Relicanth underneath the waves would look, but because this was a matter of the land ....as the pokemon swam it wouldn't get involved. But that secret wouldn't remain in this forest, as it headed into the distances as the Shieldon rode in style.

Elijah walked on, trying to forget about the injured Cacnea and instead begin focusing on his mission at hand. "All I need to do now is find some Amber, but I really have no idea where to look," Elijah said as if the forest was going to answer him back. Elijah had already been walking for a while, but for some reason he didn't seem tired any more. With his second wind underneath him he trekked on deeper into the forest.

The light of the moon pour upon the flora around him. Some of the flowers giving off a glow to match that of the light ....as the song of the night was sung around them. It was the world of forever night, the love of the darkness that spread over that world as Elijah walked.

(Yeah I posted again and rolled.)
Elijah pressed on, the light from the moon lit up the forest in such a beautiful way. The trees twisting around many different paths that you could easily lose yourself for hours in the maze of trees. Elijah just stayed on his path, because he learned once that the fastest way through a forest was a straight line.

It was a true statement as he would find himself pretty much halfway though the forest. The creatures seemingly staying well out of his way after that last fight, and he would be able to move though the forest without any problems or for the moment interruptions.

Elijah didn't want to put his defenses down completely, but for now it seemed safe enough to allow his Pokemon to come out. He released Scorpio first, and Scorpio quickly got to Elijah's shoulder and began licking it's wounds. "You will be alright for now little guy, if it gets any worse then I will heal you up," Elijah said to Scorpio as the Gligar wrapped it's tail around his shoulder and laid down. Elijah then released Venus who was happy to be back on her feet in the cool moonlit night, "I thought you would like to get out here again, it's a nice night so have fun." Venus danced along side Elijah as he walked.

Sparkling off of her skin, it was obvious why the chikorita was considered to be so beautiful in the moonlight. This was their world of peace and love, and it seemed that as long as things stay this way ....Elijah would have no problems traveling through this place.

(Ok! I wasn't sure at first, but I will do that from now on.)
Elijah was glad he could allow his Pokemon to spend some time out of the balls, it seems cruel to just lock them away and only allow them out when they are needed. He really appreciated Scorpio for getting him this far and even though he hadn't know Venus for very long he was glad she joined his team and he knew they would be great friends as well.

Eyes would glow in the darkness then ... as it spy them. Moving swiftly as it tries to get around to the front, it's eyes stuck on the boy, and it would open and close it's mouth in delight. He would taste delicious ....as she swung around and waited for just a few moments.
It would be a whirl of foliage and movement as the Carnivine would strike.
This seemed to be just another day in the forest, as it would seem that they had come upon one of the only predators in the jungle. A creature of the grass variety that eat it's own and many other creatures ...using that big mouth and acid saliva to get rid of her prey once it's deep inside of her.
This was going to be a much tougher battle.
