((Whu? Bu-? Fyrin is dead? D:
No, I'm not really complaining.))
Fyrin grimaced. Once they realized he didn't have what he claimed he had he would be fighting, and hard. Vampires were tough to kill, and any wooden stake stored in his bandages would be taking some serious time to deploy. If that even killed anything. Instead he'd have to play it cool until he was close enough to incapacitate. On that line of thought he wandered out into the opening, acting very much as if he belonged. A key point to successful snooping. He didn't explain. Closer he got, the better. At least his mana was full and his shield would be top power once deployed.

A female secretary glanced up at Fyrin. She had a conspicuously absent mana signature. That meant she was probably a bloodhound. She nodded at Fyrin. "Elevator on the left." A nod to her right indicated a pair of doors. "You'll want floor thirty-two."

Joe nodded to Jacob, putting out a hand to calm him. This wasn't working. Joe decided to go for broke. "Rose, Sebastian sent us with your battery. If you know what I'm talking about - which I think you do, because you knew who Sebastian was - then please, stop with the games already."

((I hate midterms))
Agnese glanced uneasily at the healing vampire on the bed. How did dead things heal? Her ancestor gave a mental shrug, causing the mafia princess/lawyer to roll her eyes. It would figure.
"Aside from giving you my blood supply, is there anyway I can help?"

"Well, this is a pretty messy way, eh? We just kind of... try to set the bone and pump them so full of blood that they heal in a few minutes anyway," the "doctor" replied. "It's the fastest way to get one of us back up without magic. Which, y'know, we can't use." He continued sewing. Suturing was too generous of a term for what he was doing.
He tied of the suture and turned to her. "If you could do magic-based healing, we could probably double the rate we could send them back up." A vampire with one arm held in his other came up through an elevator of some type in the corner. "Ah, another. Should you get that one?"

Floor 32? She recognized who he was or at least what he said he was here for. Either she was directing him to a place that everyone went, she was directing him to someone who actually ordered a dragon scale, or she was ordering him to a waste disposal crew, basically. No matter what he wanted to have the drop on whoever would be on that floor. He nodded thanks to her and wandered into the elevator, punching the button for 32. If he didn't she'd see that and that would be suspicious. In the meantime, he checked for cameras; if there weren't any he was going to get onto the roof of the elevator.

There were, indeed, no cameras in the elevator. Fyrin realized the probable cause was that vampires could not be seen except by direct light, which explained their lack of reflections. Attempts to record them also failed.

Rose grabbed Joe and Jacob, dragging them inside as she hooked a foot through the bars of the gate, slamming it shut behind them. "Did anyone see you?" she hissed.

Joe allowed her to pull him in, but he disconnected her grip as soon as they were in. "Only the cab driver," he said softly. "And I didn't sense anything from him. Are you under surveillance?"

"No. But I don't want to be," Rose replied. "Did you see any odd objects or carved things in the cab?"

Rose sighed, slumping against a wall. "That was probably one they hadn't gotten to, then. Okay. But is this really your idea of stealth?"
