The whistling…the whistling of metal as it cut through the air. That was how he knew something was coming. It was a loud enough sound to pierce the small sounds coming from the street further down. After all, they were at the end of a street so there wasn’t exactly a large commotion going on to be sure. Roy’s eyes opened only slightly for a moment as they still stung from the blinding pink. Emanate danger, however, makes you forget little things like bad fashion.

His eyes began to focus as he took in the three sights as they came flowing towards him in a heated passion. They had been released in a specific order. They were thrown from the top down meaning the one aimed for his head would hit first. It was actually quite a well placed attack. The way they would hit, his head would sink back from the strike, pushing his chest and pelvis forward. That would make for a perfect target for either the one aimed at his heart or the one aimed at his pelvis. With his body focused ont he pain and recoil of his head, he'd have almost no time to dodge the other two and then...boom. Yep, that'd hurt like hell. There was no way he could let them hit him dead on. If even one did, he wouldn't wake up in time for his own grandkids funeral if you catch the drift.

he was cornered against the wall and thus, couldn't back up for more room, he had to pick a side and stay with it. Shifting to his left, he made that his run and commited to it. A quick push off his leg began the move. It was a thing of beauty...not the dodge, the explosions. He didn't make it in time to dodge the first too although he did avoid critical damage. The first kunai sailed past his head and grazed him in the cheek a bit. It exploded behind his head which sent him forward a bit faster than he anticipated. The second kunai, still on its mark, was deflected a bit by the force of the explosion. It sailed a little off to the side and cut into his shirt and past his chest. Again, it screamed into a beautiful explosion.

Now the last one. The one meant to remove his chances of having children. This one was actually a stroke of luck on Roy's part. The first two explosions sent him flying forward and at an angle. Using this momentum, Roy rolled into a ball somewhat and hit his shoulder on the ground. It was an intentional hit as he went into a roll, bypassing the 3rd kunai all together. he was safe at last...from that first volly at least. He was still a wanted man, that hadn't changed.

His dash began again down the long streets of the village, again he was chased but this time it was by far, a more dangerous attack on his life than the first time around. The ANBU were hungrey for fun and they were going to get it no matter what they did. His head had a slight throb to it from the explosion and hsi chest stung a little but this was stuff he'd have to get over or else be hammered by these roaming lunitics. yep...what a wonderful day this was turning out to be. In all their fun, a few stray kunai could even be seen heading toward the general populous. Anything that moved really, was a target. A kunai with an exploding bomb tag would even head towards the head of the running student, Hiei. It'd go off in a rather fanciful, yet painless poof. It was mroe a shock factor they were after with him.

But with Roy, he was still on a run for his life. Another barrage of Kunai were headed his way, this time there was one from each of the bastards. A kunai with bomb tag from Baka Pink. A Shuriken from Baka Black, a single, steel senbon from Baka Blue and another kunai from Baka Green. What a day this was...

The sound of the poof was a distraction. As if the screams and bellows form the people in the streets weren't enough to distract him. No...those sounds had been drowned out long ago. Roy was use to the common sounds of the place. But that poofhad spooked him. It worked better than the ANBU had expected. Tilting his head in the direction of the sound, Roy would see the boy running towards it but nothing dangerous was there. What had happened? Was a bomb tag going off or what?

No...one had gone off or something close too it. But, by this time, he was already face to face with another bomb tag. The same pink lipsti ck was on this one. He could only cringe and try to block as he saw the letters flair up in preperation for the explosion. It was a far bigger one than the puff of smoke the boy had just been face to face with. He went flying back thorough the air and smacked against one of the walls. His flight wasn't without some form of inflight entertainment...or rather, inflight pain would be a better phrase to use.

The explosion caused Roy to miss the shuriken all together. He figured that would be the worse of it but it got even worse than that unfortuantly. Out the corner of his eye he was able to glimpse a senbon that would have hit his leg, crippling him if it had been thrown with enough accuracy. he was certain that it hadn't beenbut the very thought pierced his mind and he reacted. His arms moved to guard any all important organs he could think of on his side. In the end, the senbon sunk its steely fang into his arm. A pain to be certain but a barable one also. As for the Kunai, he never saw it coming.But he damn sure felt it. A sharp, cold pain ran down his spine as he was still flying. The instant the pain started he knew it was a kunai. It grazed his back but still cut deeply into him. God what a sick day this was becoming.

It didn't hep that the wall was kind of dusty and a little gritty. The dust and grit got into his fresh wound a little and stung like hell. Grinding his teeth seemed to help but only for a moment. He had to get up and keep moving. Unlike most who would simply grunt and groan about their pain, Roy took his pain out in a different way. he cursed his way through it. The entire time he attempted to stand, he acalled out pretty much every curse word he knew, and some that he wasn't even sure were english. or any other language he knew for that matter. Upon standing, he had to keep going. The pain wouldn't stop hi but those Rangers might stop hi at any moment with another barrage of weapons. he knew they were going soft on him. They were ANBU for crying out loud. If they had decided to take him out, it wouldn't take that much to be certain. It was the toying with him that pissed him off the most. He knew this was a game but still...dammit he hated this.

Shaking the cobbwebs from his head, Roy began another dash. This time he took to using the Body Flicker jutsu. He would begin to move around the village a bit faster this way but, of course, the damn ANBU would still be right on his a**. Such neusencess they were. But of course, moving at these speeds, the feeling was mutual. Thats when the ANBU began to try and slow him down a bit. Out of no where, Baka Black pulled forth a large net from under his cloak. He tossed one end to Baka Blue on the opposite roof. They had performed this manover before. It was a high speed capture manuver. The idea was to spread the ent in front of the enemy while they ran at high speeds. They wouldn't ahve enough time to stop and thus, would run right into the net and be caught.

Timing it to where they would be in a huge opening, the rangers soon lept down in front of Roy and placed the net before him to see if he'd be caught or not. Obviously, sicne tihs was a game, they left plenty of obvious gaps and escape routes if he could find them but they were still ANBU so the things were easily found. First weapons, now bondage...what a day...

Damn net...what was he now, a fish? God he felt so...so irritated. But he did see it. A route out of this hell.
Do to Blue and Black being on the ground, that meant that only two of the ANBU were on the roofs. Blue and Black were two of the more impossing of the 5 ANBU. Black, being the biggest, was more a hard striker type of Shinobi so not a lot of people expected him to be among the fasted of the fast, second only to Pink and Red. Damn guy would move like a bolt of lightning if he felt like it...a big, black, freight train sized bolt of lightning. Just the thought of that sent a shiver down Roy's spine which only made his arm and back hurt even more.

Roy instantly put on the breaks and began to slide to a stop. It was a quick jump and then a cloud of dust was kicked up as he came to the stop. He began to redirect his focus and took to the wall of a nearby building. He began a mad dash up the side of the building, sticking to it using nothing but chakra. His feet stuck quickly to the wall as he moved up it.

Pink and Green, however, were still on the wall watching their pray. Pink, whom had seen a newcomer to watch the show, decided to have a little fun with her. Pink vanished into a puff of smoke and appeared again next to Green on the opposite roof. However, this was nothing more than a clone. The real pink was coming up behind Hitomi and aiming for some fun. She plotted where Roy would come up and decided that her next attack would be a human body tackle...and she proceeded to push Hitomi towards Roy just as he came up from the side of the building. Baka Pink would do a full on charge at the girl to make sure she would go sailing right at Roy. Of course, she would aim perfecty as would be expected of an ANBU...this would sting a bit.

Roy began a quick leap as he got to the top of the roof. He was able to hear a bit of commotion on the top of hte roof however and figured it to be something that one of the rangers was doing. He was right on the money as he saw a...soething, coming barraling right toward him. He had no clue what it was and, just by instinct, decided to move out of the way. His last step was a forceful one to get him out of the way in time. he pushed off to the side and landed with a roll on the top of the building. It wasn't till the last minute that he noticed that the object that was sent his way...was a person. he had thought it was a jutsu or wall or something. Oh boy.

What the duce was going on? When did they start using people in this game? Had they really gone that crazy? Roy simply sighed a bit as he saw the girl...wasn't she Gig's little slave or something? Whatever, he couldn't let her fall off the side of the building. He made a quick grab and pulled her back onto the roof. A moments repreave would have been better than wht he got. He was allowed time enough only to look at Hitomi and blink a bit, "Oy...ain't you Gig's little slave girl?" Before he could even get an answer, a rumbled would begin to filter up the side of the building. Taking but a moment to collect himself, he knew instnatly what it was...Baka Black was repeating Roy's steps up the building.

With a wave, Roy was off again, this time keeping to the rooftops, moving as quickly as possible as he Body Flickered again. Just as Baka Black reached the top, he moved like a shadow in the night to perform his next move. He lept from the roof of the buildign into the air, his hands grasping a pair of shuriken under his shirt and soon released them into the air at Roy as he flew. 4 shuriken began to wiz through the air at Roy's back.

Upon landing, before even checking to see if the shuriken hit, Baka Black looked to hitomi and nodded with a smile under his ape mask. He was, again, the most impossing of the group but he was gental...usually. Without thought for Baka Pink, the other 3 took off after Roy again.

[ eek Ah well I guess all in a day's work in Iwa..]

Kai had finally made it to Iwa. There had been some hardships along the way but the journey had actually been pretty smooth. Well, he guessed that that was because the borders were open and there was no other camps' territories to go through, or anything. And maybe it was also because he had a partner, his dog, to help him if anything went wrong. Any fights had been quick and easy and there had been lots of nice people too willing to house him for the night. He stepped into the village gates after doing all the appropriate red tape actions and stating his reason for visiting the village, then he looked around. This place was so different from Konoha, and Ame. It was huge... even larger than Konoha. And Kai had never been here before because his team's world tour had been cut short before they'd had a chance to tour Iwa. Well, he was completely and utterly lost. He stood kind of dumbly in the middle of the road trying to find someone nice to ask.

Mawagi plodded after Kai and did some looking-around of her own. She noted the lack of vegetation in which small animals usually hid, but also noticed a lack of those animals. Well this was one place she wouldn't be able to play pounce in... her hackles were itching with the urge to move, she couldn't wait until she was back home amongst the grassy Konoha with its blue skies and crystal clear water. Maybe she was embellishing it a bit, but that is understandable. Glancing up at Kai, she snorted slowly before curling up at his feet. They'd be here for a while...

Seeing more Konoha shinobi in her village was still quite weird to her at the moment, she hadn't seen her friends for the longest and it got to her...she felt quite lonely even if more Henka clan members returned back to Iwagakure...she couldn't dare get to know them as she felt too nervous and stupid on telling the story of her being the last Henka clan member here in Iwagakure. "What do they want Iwa...?" She would say to herself not speaking to any one in general but hoping some one would answer as she stared at Kai and Mawagi.

From some random corner, a nervously sweatdropping Senju Zephyr stampeded into view...apparently in some panicked flight. Which was an odd sight...as it looked like he was chasing down something. But in actuality, he was the one being chased.

Not far back from him...

"Come back here!" Fubuki Shinratsu growled (expression: scream ) as he chased after the fleeing Sannin. Fubuki Shinratsu did not enjoy chasing...and the Genin had a scary look on his face. He had actually gotten pretty good slipping past the holes in the crowd. Zephyr, on the other hand, being adult size...had no such luck...

Darn. The Senju leader thought bitterly. He suddenly swerved a corner. That kid is one persistent... CRASH. "Ugh..." Zephyr groaned, gingerly rubbing the top of his head which (thanks to the impact) had smacked right into the lower ladder of a fire escape. He had crashed into some young man with a dog.

Before he could get up and escape...he felt a cold presence behind him... Did winter come early?

"I found you!!"
