Good, the younger girl hadn't noticed her or the snitch. Belle wasn't sure how much longer she could last drenched and frozenlike this. But she pushed herself farther, leaning forward to gain speed on the ruddy little snitch she wished she was chasing with a beaters bat than without. Oh, to dare to dream.

 Edajin Tarot Slytherin/First Year/Single/Half-blood/Wearing __________________________________________________________ Edajin was speeding on his way after Rosemarie, his focus zoned in on the girl with the ball - so much so that he didn't even notice the bludger being lobbed right at him, smashing into his right arm with no remorse. Edajin heard a sickening crack, and the searing pain told him that his arm had either been broken or his shoulder dislocated. His broom swerving off course for a moment, he had to choke down the bile that rose up in his throat as the pain hit his stomach. Now was not the time... not the time!  Amanda took off after Rosemarie. Before she even had an attempt to steal the quaffle, Edajin pulled it out of the chaser's grasp. The blonde stayed close to her fellow teammate as he turned around and headed for the goal posts.

The grind of his teeth pinched nerves in his jaw and tightened the pressure of his skull as he tried to ignore the combatting pain surging through his left side. His shoulder felt oddly out of place, so much so, he almost didn’t want to strike at another player. So he hovered, watching the game as he flanked into the defensive and kept a wary eye upon Ver and Chance, just in case. But the lingering realization that he couldn’t always defend had settled in his brain and it drove him to try his hand, at least just one more time. So he sought out a bludger an quickly lined up his target, taking every careful precaution not to put too much extraneous effort than needed, and then, he fired down upon Rufus as best he could.

Annabelle felt the clatter of her teeth vibrate through her muscles, the cold had shivering against the harsh winds as she dared herself not to look beside her to see if the Ravenclaw seeker had spotted her. Instead, she kept her vision sharp and focused, prioritizing the best strategies, imagining the snitch’s next course of action—anything, absolutely anything—to run a couple steps ahead. It was now or never; she may not have another chance at this! So with a rapid burst of speed, she lunged her arm forward, thrusting herself to her edge as she extended her long nimble fingers and clawed into the open air. The golden little snitch hovered inches away, mocking and laughing at her, she had to catch it!
