At the sound of his voice, the Drillbur would go back underground. It probably wasn't the best approach to startle the pokemon by talking to it behind it's back. Thus, he would lose his chance at that one ...as it disappear into the desert sands.

Though the pokemon's movements would be in lightning speed as he would simply swung one needle arm at the head of his opponent. His move a focus punch ....as the Cacnea would grin lightly. Yup, the tables were turning in his favor and he saw no reason why no to take advantage of them as the power glowed in his limb ...as he meant to slam the Gligar into the ground ...where it's ability to fly would mean nothing at all.
This was the pokemon's aim as he struck.

Michael sighed, picked up the pokeball once more and searched around for another pokemon, and fast, the heat was a bit too intense for the trainer to handle, but he would have to pull through.

All three attempts to deflect the attack would fail as the Shieldon would catch the Lapras hard against the shell and side as he slides to a stop to see that it was now three on one. He couldn't help smiling a bit at that as he lower his head a bit to point at each one in turn.
(Just like I said, cowards)
He would snicker a bit. Did it really take three pokemon to face one him, and none of them managed to prevent the damage as his tail would swipe from side to side. His eyes were narrowed ....as he stump his feet one after the other.
He stood on the defensive as he looks at the three and ready himself for their attacks.

(I won't accept that 19, I saw the 5 earlier. Do not delete posts like that ....it's called cheating here, you could have continuing rolling the dice and still met up with that Drillbur without deleting posts. 3/10) The desert heat would continue to beam down on him ...as it would seem that he had decided to hunt for that lost Drillbur. But, it wasn't going to be an easy task at all, the desert afterall is a very big and very wide place.

((Sorry...i just kept getting the number 5 when i roll once. And i didn't want my character to die in the heat.)) Michael kept on walking then laid down on the sand, shielding his eyes from the sun. The trainer wouldn't survive long in the desert's heat if he doesn't find a pokemon or a source of water soon.

(first off you character won't die in the heat, second, that number that keeps showing up is your progress though the place. Anyway, just don't do it any more please.4/10)
His foot would hit something this time ...as the Drillbur broke though the ground. He had one paw scratching his head even as the boy would be sent stumbling from the suddenly odd step ...as the pokemon looks back at him with a groan on his face.
He hated running into trainers, they were a pain in his butt ...as he would start to pull himself free of the soil. Unlike the least one, this one had no plan of running away as the pokemon put his digging claws in front of him.
He was always ready for a good fight.

Namiko just looked at the two that had gathered near her. She wasn't down for the count at all yet! ["I can do this by myself!"] she yelled at them. The slash into her shell had been severe and there were cracks now. The Lapras gathered a deep breath before shooting water at her opponent! This water gun attack was sure to knock her opponent's breath away! Nyx knew that none of his physical moves would be useless against this pokemon so might as well try one that would lower some of his opponent's stats. He began whipping his tail back and forth in a Tail Whip attack! Kyo flexed his claws. He was eager to slash into his opponent but Nyx was right. Their attacks weren't strong against this creature. The Zangoose didn't care as his claws covered in a dark aura. Michael fell and hit the hard sand, then got up and looked at the angry drillbur that was prepared to fight him "Oh no, i'm not here going to hurt you, but will you join me on my journey and maybe help me on my mission? I'm trying to find another pokemon that has a move that will heal others and itself." He said as he set the pokeball in his hand down on the ground infront of the Drillbur and stepped away a few steps. The trainer waited for the prepared pokemon to respond by either hitting the pokeball away as a no, or nodding for a yes.

(12-6 + 9-9=6/2=3 damage) The Gligar was pushed back by the Focus Punch this time the impact wasn't so extreme and it was merely a scratch. "Scorpio before the Cacnea has time to move back, point your tail and fire with another Poison Sting attack!" Elijah commanded his Pokemon. Scorpio's tail swung around his side and was aimed directly at the center of the Cacnea's chest. Scorpio's tail glowed white hot and needles started firing like bullets from a mini gun.

The Cacnea saw the attack, he knew he couldn't fully avoid that. As his arm would swing in front of where those needles were aim. He could surrender something for his life, he could give his arm, as he thought about never seeing that beautiful dancer again in the moonlight.
It was the same as death, so why did he try and avoid the real thing? It was a question he would ponder even as he put up that weak defense to try and spare his own life.

The Drillbur pulled himself completely from the ground as he looked at the pokeball and then brought his digging claw above it. He was about to punch that button alright and completely slice that pokeball in two.
This was a stupid human in his mind. One that comes into the harshest of enviornments with some stupid idea that pokemon would simply fall at his feet. no, the Drillbur was anger ....very anger with this human's presumptions.
Eyes dark as he looks back at the trainer with a new degree of hatred as he would scoop up the pokeball, and then stuff it into his mouth.
It was clear, Michael was about to lose a pokeball .....as the pokemon grin devilishly.
Yes, if he wanted it back he would have to fight for it. Otherwise, there was a vast desert to search and maybe he would find a few suckers along the way.

This would be the first time he was injured in this fight. THough it would take a combination of their attacks for it to happen. He had to snicker at that ....as he had said before, display of cowardice. Though he had gloated them on, he hadn't expected that either.
He would roar a bit in pain for the first time, and he would crash back to the earth as he smiles at the trio.
(I see, I am something quite special. I have everyone's attention, good, let me work to keep it.)
He would lower his head and come at the Lapras again. His body moving swiftly as he would aim at her with another tackle.

[[ Sorry but you calculated the damage wrong. Namiko used a water attack so the damage was 10 x2 = 20 so the battle with the Shieldon should be over. ]]
