Nicki glanced at Sonicsteel's hand, but shook her head sadly.
"No...all I want to know is where Optimus Prime is."
she said. She had to hurry...she could only hope BB was holding on.
Livewire narrowed his optics, charging his gun as several cores stepped into sight. Thick wires were attached to their backs, but didn't seem to slow them at all as they approached.
"Slag!"
Rearbrake shouted in shock, quickly jumped back away from the orb as spikes shot up out of the ground. He fell back against the wall,
"Run for the entrance!"
he shouted.

SonicSteel was reluctant to give her the answer, but due to his oath SonicSteel had to. "He went into the opposite tunnel behind us with a seperate group. We have to regroup anyway since we found you, can you keep up with us like Kale can?"

Ironhide was instantly hit with several of the hot knives as he fell to the ground. Ironhide thought of Bumblebee and got to his feet and ran for the entrance " i knew something was wrong" Ironhide said

Blackout didn't hesitate she charged, raking her sword across the Black bots chest. But for some odd reason they seemed to be a lot more stronger than the ones she had fought before. Blackout was only able to damage her targets arm since it had dodged her attack swiftly. She could hardly react, the black bot slammed its fist in to her cheek. Blackout staggered a little, her anger brewed up and she fired her Delyaed tachyon unstaible Nano disrupter.

"Of course she can, of all humans I wouldn't doubt she would be able to, right Nicki?" Cabaret asked with a smile. She smiled, yet there was an underlying fear beginning to overwhelm her. Cabaret's adreline rush from the previous battle had just crashed and all of her normal fears of battle and the unknown were returning. Not only that but she didn't know what was going on with Nicki, she hoped she'd made a wise decision by pretending to ignore the fact something was wrong,for now she'd have to cover up her feelings and rely on her friends for guidence.

Nicki nodded,
"Lets hurry and find him."
she said, walking past Sonicsteel. She didn't want to stand still for long, fearing another jolt of pain. She felt slightly safer being with Sonicsteel and the others, but she kept quiet.
Livewire fired, blasting a bot - but to his shock, it barely did any damage.
"Slag!"
Livewire said as the bot charged him, a energon saber appearing in its hand as it slashed at him. Livewire stepped back, barely dodging the blade.
Rearbrake kept against the wall, then ran for the exit. He stopped as he heard the sickening sounds of metal being slashed through and saw Ironhide fall.

Kale tensed as Nicki walked past Sonicsteel towards him. He could tell just by looking at her exosuit - Unicron had to be controlling her. He didn't like this...if he could maybe filter her suit of the dark energy, but she would have to be still for some time, and he doubted that he could catch her if he wanted to.
Optimus narrowed his optics, his saber flashing to life from his arm. He ran forward, slashing into a black bot.
Offroad shouted in surprise, quickly falling back, but catching himself against the wall. He ran for the exit.

"As you wish Nicki." SonicSteel followed Nicki at her own speed. He was getting sick of his dept and was thinking of abandoning his honor. Why do I have to obey this human? My honor forces me to, a real Decepticon would never let a human bring him down.
That's why you follow this brat? A dept? That's foolish, you should be ashamed to even have the Decepticon symbol on your chest.
It's more then that Scorponok, I owe someone for my honor and I can't let his teachings die.
Scorponok was confused at SonicSteel's statement and started to link to his mind.
Don't try it Scorp or your tail will suffer severage.
Scorponok imediantly stopped the link. Could you at least tell me?
Fine, long ago before this war, I knew a Transformer by the name of Implodius. He tought me about honor and the proper way of battle among equals. When the war began, my training was finally complete. We both went off to join the Great War against the Autobots. On the first battle while Implodius was instructing me on proper aim, he was shot in the back of the head. He died there and I keep his teachings alive by obeying the honor he tought me. That's why I obey this dept, in honor of my mentor.
That story was so sad, I think it gave me combustion build up. Scorponok laughed aloud at SonicSteel's expense.
"Why do I even tell you these things?" SonicSteel sighed and continued walking behind Nicki.

Cabaret looked down at the ground and watched her cycling steps. Regrouping was something she was looking forward too, it made her feel more secure to be in a large group espeically with the Autobot leader Optimus Prime. Her wounds from earlier were beginning to ache again, espeically the one in her neck, where Sound Grinder had penetrated her. Cabaret winced and rubbed the wound gently. A nebulous feeling came over her and her optics drew dull and her eyesight became blurry.

A message began to appear in her optics for Cabaret to see only. The image soon became a hologram within her mind, the image of SoundGrinder "Wondering what this is eh? Its a holovid I installed into your neck, remove it and suffer the dire effects. This device has several functions and purposes, the first is to track you where ever you go. The next is to inform you of where I might be if I have failed Lord Unicron. During my inactive times in SonicSteel's mind, I developed a plan just in case my master failed. If you understand this plan then you'll know where I'am, but even if yuou do you'll never see me in the future. The plan was to transport Unicron to before the Transformers awakened on the Ark, thus ending the war. My influence remains in this device and it will activate the rest of its functions when we meet again furthering my plans in the name of Unicron." The device hummed and slowly shut down, but the light in the middle of the square device still blinked.

Cabaret gasped, she couldn't believe that little twerp was actually that big of a threat, or that he was smart enough to do something like this to her. She glanced around at Sonic Steel and the others. "I have no idea what the heck this device is capable of, I should have it removed...I mean he can't do anything to me if it's not attached to me right? Though...I don't wanna find out what those "dire consequences" are either, but he could be lying...ooh, he knows I second guess myself..." Cabaret tossed these thoughts and more around in her head as the continued along. "Maybe I should tell Sonic Steel, after all he and Sound Grinder shared the same mind and body..." she concluded.
Cabaret walked over to Sonic Steel and tapped on his shoulder. "Um..." she stammered. "I need to talk to you for a second...in private..."

"Sure Cabaret, Scorponok, you mind?"
"Not at all Commander." Scorponok jumped off of his back and transformed to his bot mode. He followed the others soon after.
"There, what is it Cabaret?"

Cabaret opened her mouth to speak but than closed it again. She leaned in closer to Sonic Steel and spoke in a hushed voice, "You remember when Sound Grinder decided to manipulate me and trick me into attacking you...well...he left something behind....I don't know how to explain it that well, but according to him he installed a holovid into my neck and..." she paused and gave Sonic Steel a worried look. "I...." she refrained from telling him anymore.
