Well it can't be other him either. That's not other him's style. I'm hoping this just a mighty big red herring.

Just saw BLACK DYNAMITE.
Best movie ever.
It should win an oscar, don't care what oscar any one will do, just to say it won one.
Best movie ever.

I can officially walk into Gamestop on April 1st to grab my copy of GoW 3 without having to worry about cash because my reserve is paid off.
I cannot wait to spill more centaur guts.

Okay, here is the dish on Book of Eli. I am not going to spoil anything for you because there is actually a nice story to it if not very hamfisted in some areas. It's not gonna win any awards and the effects some times are mediocre at best but again just one of those post apocalyptic movies that people will enjoy.
NOW HERE'S THE MOST IMPORTANT PART.
At the end when it's all winding down, you will see a scene with Denzel, McDowel, and Kunnis (I don't know if that's the right spelling but whatever) and it's a top down scrolling scene. Denzel is in a white robe, McDowel is writing things and it shows Kunis sleeping.
LEAVE AT THE END OF THIS SCENE. I cannot stress this enough, LEAVE AT THE END OF THIS SCENE.
The ending for this movie, the real ending they used, is terrible. It is so terrible I couldn't stop laughing out loud at it. Seriously, leave at that scene.

I'm going to be violently ill, Avatar won best drama and director at the Golden Globes. I mean yeah, I know that the GGs are a complete sham that are easily purchased- hence Nine being nominated for anything- but this is like listing the award on eBay, it's a full frontal assault on the intelligence of movie goers, much like Avatar itself is. Right now I'm trying to figure out if this is a bigger insult to Kathryn Bigelow or Neil Bloomkampf.
Perhaps I shouldn't be so harsh on the Hollywood Foreign Press, the bar was set pretty high by the Nobel committee...

Tobey Macguire receives nomination for Best Actor. Jeremy Renner does not. Something is wrong with this situation.
Just watched The Hurt Locker last night, by the way. Wow.

Amazing, wasn't it?
Spoiler: I really, really thought that he was going to die on the last call with the guy that had the bomb locked onto him. That and the body bomb were just stunning, the idea that this is what the insurgents are doing.

Oh, yeah. I absolutely loved it. I don't know if I'd call it last years best movie, (or even last year's best war movie... I really loved Basterds) but it was definitely up there. The most intense and suspenseful movie I'd seen in ages. I didn't know about James, but in pretty much every scene, I thought one of them was going to die. Renner was damn good, and I really hope to see more from him in the future. (Especially if the Hawkeye thing pans out.) Same goes for Kathryn Bigelow. She pretty much completely disproved the stereotype that women can't direct action. I love the fact that they actually filmed in the Middle East too. Added a whole other layer of authenticity. I remember reading Renner saying something about them actually being shot at while filming. Anyways, today in movie news: Bruce Campbell vs. Frankenstein. Not better news than an Evil Dead 4, or even Bruce reprising his role as Elvis in Bubba Nosferatu, but still ridiculously awesome. Tim Burton's take on Sleeping Beauty. Burton's been pretty hit and miss for me lately, but this sounds interesting. I've always been a sucker for reimaginings. SHIELD presence in Thor. I was thinking that a lot of it would take place on Asgard, so we wouldn't see too much of Fury and co., but this is good. Clark Gregg should probably stick to acting, though, because his inexperienced direction held back Choke way too much. And this is ridiculously troubling. I just watched the "Free Hat" episode of South Park last week. Those guys sure can hit the nail on the head when they want to.

...Will Chris Hemsworth be bulking up for his role? Because I'm all for Brannaugh behind the camera but unless Thor's gonna be a teen in the film, I'm not necessarily buying it.

Greta -Suzie- Hayes ...Will Chris Hemsworth be bulking up for his role? Because I'm all for Brannaugh behind the camera but unless Thor's gonna be a teen in the film, I'm not necessarily buying it. Hemsworth is already a pretty big guy, but "bulking up" goes hand in hand with superhero role, pretty much no matter who you are, especially when you're playing a Norse god. I don't worry about him looking the part. I just don't know if he's got the acting chops or screen presence. We'll see... It's official, by the way. Marc Webb is directing the Spider-Man reboot. I loved (500) Days of Summer, and really couldn't be happier with this decision. Now let's hope they peg Levitt for Peter Parker.

You guys might not know this, but I consider myself a bit of a loner. I tend to think of myself as a one-man wolf pack. But when my sister brought Doug home, I knew he was one of my own. And my wolf pack... it grew by one. So there... there were two of us in the wolf pack... I was alone first in the pack, and then Doug joined in later. And six months ago, when Doug introduced me to you guys, I thought, "Wait a second, could it be?" And now I know for sure, I just added two more guys to my wolf pack. Four of us wolves, running around the desert together, in Las Vegas, looking for strippers and cocaine. So tonight, I make a toast!

Lee and I are pretty hardcore Conan O'Brien fans and have been taking this entire NBC/Jay Leno train wreck well, or as well as two random fans can. But after last night's show we discussed matters:
