(18 - 11 + 9 - 9 = 7/2 = 3.5 rounds to 4dmg)
The Cacnea would hit against him with his own move. Though he would find one more problem, his Focus punch was reduced in damage when he hit against the ground and flying type. Though he wasn't as upset as he seemed as the pokemon would attack with a confidences that the cacnea had a hard time seeing.
He wasn't loosing terribly no matter what the boy was thinking nor his pokemon as he saw that weak sting attack and move to avoid it by hoping backwards. HIs eyes narrowed, he wasn't going to be such an easy victory ...no matter what they were thinking.

With a move like what the Sunkern had ....he didn't chase he would turn his absorb towards the retreating back. A bobble of purple in a land of green ...as he would narrow his eyes dangeorusly ....and would aim his absorb towards the plant type. He needed to time this right, if he did, he would stop that pokemon in his tracks ....as he shot it at the Cherubi in one quick shot.

(Just correct me on this if I'm wrong, but since I got 16 for the "run away" and you've got 8, plus the 3/3's, they successfully made it out of the forest and back to the motorboat. I've been way too dizzy working my butt off of my island post. The dice is just for the walk to the boat if I got that right.) The Sunkern's attack had missed, as the Cherubi rolled itself out of harm's way, sliding against the ground in his landing. Jake made his way over to the Cherubi in a hurry, looking down at it's weakened form. The cherry-like Pokemon looked to be beaten up pretty badly, with its dark juices leaking out of it. If it wasn't for the fact it was a Pokemon that he actually needed, Jake would have surely eaten it. Forte looked at him, his body unable to get up. The cherry had pushed its body as far as it could, and he cursed underneath his breath for a human to see him weak like this, especially one that seemed so idiotic. He let a huff out, puffing out his cheeks. Well, he wouldn't be able to move again until he was fully healed, so it was back in that cramped ball of his. The cherry only sent a small glare at the human, as it was returned into its ball. This was a small moment of weakness he would not going to show again, though its Trainer though otherwise. Strapping the pokeball onto his belt, Jake sprinted over to the boat he had arrived in, not bothering to look back to see if the Sunkern was behind, as he started the boat, driving off soon afterwards. (Yup, they did, and you didn't need to roll another dice. You had finished the moment your retreat was successful)
The beach would be clear as the boat remain where he had left it. A lucky trick considering there was plenty of pokemon about that could have snatch such an automatic boat ....but it was there and Jake could leave the island successful in his captures

Double Cyclone " Aw crap..." Michael said as he wiped his forehead and glanced at the sun. He walked around the island, trying to find a pokemon and at least a water sources. If the boy hadn't found any water soon, there would be no return. (Roll the dice please, and look at the first page for information on how this work)

(1/10 - for future references, if you don't roll an encounter you can simply continue posting)
The sun was merciless as it beam down on him. Water in the desert was like winning the lottery, it wasn't very easy to do and is all about your luck. Though how far that luck would go ...is a good question .....as the boy would continue to travel his path in the horrible heat.

Michael wiped his forehead to remove the sweat, the heat wouldn't let him have a single chance at staying alive. He kept on walking, still hoping to find a water source and at least a healing pokemon to complete his objective.

The ground would move underneath his feet as he walked. The sands heaping up and then going back down as a head would suddenly pop out as he looks around and around. The Drillbur's eyes would sparkle a bit as he turn his eyes from the left to the right ...this pokemon was simply passing through. If he looked behind him, he would see Michael.
Though this Drillbur happen to be a bit shortsighted.

Michael jumped as he saw a Drillbur had popped its head out and looked left and right, the boy stepped back and sat down behind the pokemon and tapped it's head once, trying to get its attention. "Hello there, little pokemon. Would you like to join me on my journey?" He said, setting down a pokeball behind the Drillbur.

[Sorry for that. Just forget the first roll since I forgot Namiko's post was in the last post.] [ (19-8 ) + (8-10)= 9 DMG Namiko just stood there and turned her back on the pokemon. He was charging towards her but she hoped that it would just try and pierce through her thick shell instead. The Lapras saw the creature staring at her chest and it angered her. What kind of pervert was her opponent and at such a young age?Nyx watched as Namiko did nothing but turn away from it. There wasn't much that the water pokemon could do. It was a water creature and it couldn't move as swiftly on land as in the sea. Plus she was a large creature which made it an easy target. There was some guilt radiating off him and finally he couldn't take it anymore. Regardless of how he wanted to take this whole thing, he was still a part of this team. He was fighting like a member and so he charged forward. The Umbreon was a black blur as he tried to help deflect the Shieldon's attack! Kyo had been almost twitching with impatience. He was blinded by his own need to protect that he didn't even notice that the Umbreon leapt into the battle. The red and white furred pokemon was already darting in, ready to push the Shieldon back. Seemed like both had been tired of watching the battle. They were stronger then the Lapras and had been sitting watching like cowards. The Zangoose would slash anyone open that called him that.
