Raieth Alex was trying not to rub her eyes when she heard a ponyta just in front of her whinny loudly.
She saw one of the girls from the jail nearly unconscious.
She ran up and threw her arm over her shoulder. "Hey now, I think we are almost there."
Rasha whinnies and tosses her head, before kneeling down. "Taaah!" Rasha looks at Alex, trying to make the trainer understand that she should get Shina in the saddle.

Light, witty banter was something Corn was good at. It was easy to settle into a good report with Kaskia, and that pleased Corn immensely. "Damn shame, that. Maybe not long, though."

Making his way to the outskirts of the forest, Absol at his heels, he finally dropped to his knees, and layed the boy onto the ground. Hands on his knees, head bowed, he tried to catch his own breath that was stiffled by his bandana.
Tearing it off, he gasped for air to try and calm his beating heart. The Absol stood close by it's trainers side, gently nosing at his arm affectionatly.
Slowly, the breeder rose his head, and flipped back his dark hair, "What were you thinkin`?!" he growled at the boy, clearly not very compassionate for humans.

She barely noticed Mina going off somewhere else to rest, "Okay Vincent. I need you to dig.... NO! A small hole! Vincent! Listen!" The Arcanine was already starting to dig, sending a little bit of dirt flying. He looked up at Alexa confused. "A small hole for the Grumpig. Not too big or deep!" Vincent was off digging again and stopped only when Alexa yelled at him to.

Lady Mist  Following his lead, the trees and bushes whirring by in an adrenaline induced blur, Lumina found herself pulled into what was indeed a clearing. She let herself fall to the ground, taking deep breaths to try and retain oxygen flow, "Clearing," She sucked in more air as she looked around, "And a shrine."
Taking a moment of silence to let her heart rate drop to sane levels again, she passed him a weary grin, "Just so you know you're not crazy, of course."
After a long moment, the healer felt his heartbeat return to normal, and his breathing even out, and he shook out his vest, dipping it into the water to wash his eyes and face, blinking at the effects of the tear gas. After he was satisfied, he handed the yellow material to Lumina, his eyes focusing on the girl he had gotten to know briefly over the past few days.
"You saw something too. Back on the trail. When you were shaken up."
It wasn't a question. She had confirmed it when they had been running, when he had been standing there all spacey.

Bouncy_Pineapple @Natsuko and Rose:Lizzie looked up at the familiar face floating above her. Who was she again? Oh, it was Rachel. "I'm... fine. Not injured or anything." She sat up. "Are you alright?" Hearing a shout over the clearing from a healer, Lizzie shouted back. "Hey! Anise! Can you come over here? I think... something's wrong with Psywater." Indeed, the Lugia remained slumped in a pile of white mass and was coughing continuously. She just noticed it now, while she herself was talking to Rachel.  Hearing someone call her name, Anise rushed over. "What's the problem?" She said. Then she noticed the downed Lugia. With a gasp she knelt down to examine him. "Something in the lungs...probably tear gas," she murmured. "Deep breaths," she said, starting to massage the pokemon's back as she yelled, "Felix, where are you? Come here!" Her Delcatty had gotten lost in the shuffle, and she had only just noticed.

"When I said adventure, I didn't mean something like this! I'd have to be nuts!" Oyumi replied, laughing softly and shifting to fix her tunic. She hadn't even realized it had slipped dangerously loose, and after a moment she turned to nod at Carter.
"I'm fine. Lucky I have quick reflexes, or that tear gas could've really gotten me."
She nodded at Rhia and was quick to look around for Liam. She only vaguely recalled what he looked like, but she'd do her best to help. She spotted him the second after Rhia, and trailed after the girl to talk to him. He'd known this place was safe... Had he been given a premonition like Rhia?

Zoey smiled at Ziyo, thankful for his kindness. She didn't think she could bear the sight of the corpse, so she remained where she was. She released Spook, who stretched and purred, happy to be free. She walked over to the lake and splashed it's cool water in her face, wiping away her dried tears. Deciding to make her self useful, Zoey began to set up camp, gathering dried timber from the surrounding woods. Lighting the fire with a flame from the shrine, she let the fire gain strength before pulling out some camping cookware. Looking up at the surrounding group, she asked, "Anyone have anything they would like cooked? I have a fire going."

Nanashi Kage Enjeru Shina coughs weakly. "Wha . . ." Her head sags, and her eyes are staying closed longer with each blink. Apparently, she had gotten a very large dose of the tear gas, or was having a reaction to it.

"I'm fine." Rachel said then moved to the Lugia. She pulled out a canteen and quickly mixed a powder into the water as Anise started to rub his back. "Hey, try to drink this, it should help." she soothed while holding the canteen to the Lugia.

"You're welcome," Robin mumbled vaguely. "Happy to help." He shook his head, then spoke more clearly. "I honestly haven't a clue what's been going on. I think I'm more out of the loop than most people. Just been going with the flow, really." The musician rubbed his forehead with one hand. "I just can't believe all this is happening. This was supposed to be a quiet, relaxing trip, but now it's turned out our entire reason for going was some mad science experiment for who-knows-what nefarious purpose, and we're being attacked by trained killers and—" he threw his hands in the air. "I don't know what to make of it all."
