I wonder who will win the tourney. Doubtful it will be who I think should win, but what fun would it be if I called all the shots 4laugh

I predict most of the people won't vote simply because they didn't read the fight posts, I imagine. Not many of the rp'ers are that dedicated, but it is to be expected in this busy day and age when everyone bites off more than they can chew before they realize they are choking. sweatdrop

I actually thought about giving everyone a prize for helping us reach post 1000, but by the time I got around to it, we had already passed it by a few hundred lol. A prize for everyone at 2000 is something worth considering. I don't want to give away stuff to people who will quit shortly after though (ungrateful brats...). I'll need a few more requirements to give it to about half or less people. Just one person would cause everyone to post spam in order to get the 2000.

Any reward can't discriminate against those who might join the rp at later dates. I have someone join the rp every week believe it or not. Some leave, and some do like most of you and post for a while. Not too many of your were in my original crew that started this thing, but it's nice to see new faces and new ideas. I have a feeling that the end of the rp will have a near complete makeover as far as who is in it. Heck, I might not even be author. Of course, I wouldn't give up the reigns to this hunk of success without dieing first, but Gazma or someone Gazma is willing to listen to could take over the rp as author in my absence (since they would need mod powers to add characters and change rules/edit updates/etc...)

Good thing I'm willing to stick around. What nutter would be willing to put in the amount of effort I do? lol rofl

*Nurses a cup of hot cocoa and winces*

A quiet girl nursed a hot drink the corner of the tavern. Her posture was slouched and she sat cross legged on the rickety dark brown chair that had seen better days. She looked troubled, every now and then wincing as she recalled the various threads she had viewed and one that she had swiftly abandoned. No one of that thread sought her out and guilt did not nest in her heart from leaving.

"Low expectations." She murmured to herself, setting her drink on the edge of a table to briefly wipe the fogged up lenses of her spectacles with a bit of her yellow shirt before taking up her steaming hot beverage again.

"I cannot brave the search for the refuge of a good roleplay without lowering my expectations to the ground. Yet even a few sentences of grammatical errors dissuades me from joining what could potentially be at last a source of sweet escapism."

The girl took a deep draft of her hot cocoa and sat in silence for a good while, observing the other customers of the tavern. Two seemed to converse while a solitary person made cute faces while asking for votes in some competition.

Mokona set her drink down yet again, sighed, and buried her face into her hands while muttering, "Maybe I should go back to video games..."

What a sad person this Insane must be. Her tolerance for others is so low that she is cutting herself off from this lovely form of group entertainment. Don't be like her friends 3nodding
