As the tunes began to fade, the light began to fade as well. Suddenly, it was like an explosion went off. The light scattered, causing the cavern to go into darkness. The lights remained though. They spread along the surface of the cavern like stars. The wall where the portal itself was began to burn black along the runes. At the center, a small portal appeared. It then began to widen some. Little by little, it began to grow outward. Nothing too fast but still moving. A sound like a heartbeat began to echo through the cavern. It was almost time.

Skidding to a halt outside the cave, Kitara shuddered. She could feel the beating. It shook her to her very core. The Siberian tiger shook herself and then slowly entered. Right behind her, the smaller phoenix entered. Riana was ready to meet the twins, for better or worse. Right outside the cave, the Phoenix landed and slowly entered the low cave. Once in, the three creatures entered the fake wall and stopped in the center of the cavern. Now they could only wait.

The Blood Demon was thirsty for a fight now but he did not want this to fail at the same time. He stood up and looked down at her, how pitiful she looked as she began to crawl away. The words she had spoken meant nothing to him and he did not pay very much attention to them at all. When she started to try to stand he waited to see if she would and then watched her fail with satisfaction. He was not sure of what had drained her of so much of her energy but he was not ready to try and figure that out any time soon. He walked over closer to her and stood looking down at her disappointedly. He grabbed her arm with his extremely quickly and then pulled her up to the height she wound need to be to stand on her fet again. IF she actualy stood and did not make him hold her like this it would do two things at once...make it easier to create another wound on her body and help her to regain some energy at the same time. So now he waited for the split second that it would take for her to decide whether or not to stand. It was her fate now afterall...

Karin's ears flattened back again as she slowly came to realize he'd approached once more. She tried to start away again, but was abruptly stopped as his hand reached out and grabbed her arm to lift her up. She began growling as she forced her left eye open, narrowed upon him. "Leave m-me alone!" she repeated again, grabbing his arm he was holding her with, though her grip was weak and she knew she wouldn't be able to do anything. Inside she was cursing herself for wasting so much energy, but she'd panicked. She didn't want to let that tainted blood enter back inside herself.

Even now, she still had the water blocking her wounds so none could get in. She tried to stand, so she could leap away, but she couldn't gather enough energy to keep herself on her feet. The only thing keeping her up was him, so if he let go, she'd just crumple to the floor again. She needed to find a lake or... A sudden idea hit her again and she closed her eyes, focusing on the water in the surrounding trees and beginning to gather some into a large puddle behind one the trees, out of view.

She yawned as she walked down the dirt path into the ancient forest.Last time she had come here some strange blob-like creature had eaten her flower basket.Eri prayed that she didn't run into another one of those icky things.Today she had decided to just relax and enjoy the beauty of nature, rather than pick it.She looked up at the crystal clear sky.Some birds flew about above her and then dissappeared into the trees.Eri smiled and went back to looking at whatever she passed by as she walked.

Karin gritted her teeth, her eyes still tightly shut. She was still gripping the arm he was holding her with, but her grip was still as weak as before. "D-damn it," she stammered, mostly to herself. "I don't.... want it!" She could care less about becoming re-energized, or stronger. She just didn't want any of that blood to get inside her. She knew she was making things difficult for him, but did he really expect her to just go along with whatever he instructed? If it actually was Suka, she might, but it wasn't and she knew that. She wasn't going to let herself trust him. Her eyes were still closed, and she was definitely feeling dizzy, so she didn't realize he was about to strike her again. As a result, she got a rather large new slash mark across her stomach, though it was stopped partially as his claws connected with the X that was in her sweatshirt pocket, and the zipper that went up the front as well. She bit her tongue, holding back a short cry of pain, as a bit of the water she was storing snaked its way towards them and quickly sealed this cut up as well. She wasn't going to let it get inside her. She refused.

[Sorry I had to get off! I was supposed to be gone before midnight. ><;;]

"B-because!" Karin shouted suddenly. "If I can't beat you with my own strength then.... then I'd rather just die! I don't want strength given to me by that blood!" She just glared at him as he mentioned killing her. She didn't care anymore. She'd gotten out of situations like this many times, but maybe her luck had finally run out. She growled softly in her throat as she saw he was about to attack again, and bit back another cry as he connected. But instantly more water came up to fill this wound as well. She continued glaring at him for a moment longer, and then she suddenly changed into her cat form.

By doing this, she shrank her body size dramatically, which allowed her to slip from his grasp. Also, her wounds shrank in proportion with her body so it took less water to block them. The extra water was quickly returned to her body to restore a bit of energy. She hit the ground with a soft thump as she slipped free, but quickly scrambled to her feet and darted towards the tree she'd gathered water behind, stumbling often on the way. She still reached it rather fast though, and bowed her head to the water, drinking as much as she could manage before he came after her again, if he was planning to at all. She half hoped he'd decide she was too much of a pain to deal with and give up.
