ninja One more night , I wanna be with you Where I wanna hold you tight…Minielf @ I suggest you to find a fun way to lose weight. My secret was playing DDR. O_o Or running with my friend's dog or just a buddy makes exercise more interesting, doesn't it? I heard drinking extra water helps the body evacuate negative substances which contributes to a healthly diet. 3nodding It feels so right Tonight…

Dunno if this should be a rant or not... But I'm falling behind in my triple science =______=;;; The teachers are going too quick, everyone knows that, they warned us. But I just can't keep on track, cos all the stuff I'm learning...I don't understand >.>;;;
And I'm planning to move back down into normal science...but then I wouldn't get more GCSE grades o.O;;;; Which I want~
So yeah, advice please...? ^^ <3

giving blood or cat's inability to pay his bills? as far as your classes goes do your teachers provide tutoring? or just spend more time on your studies. really how important are the gcse to you? remember it's not quantity but the quality.

I really, really want to get a Wii and games like Twilight Princess or Metroid Prime 3, just so I can exercise my entire body whilst I'm having fun. Of course, it's unlikely I'll ever get one; the Wii is selling for nearly $400 here in Australia, and that's without the extras such as the nunchuck. crying

mymiridon @mini: the diet you have now sounds healthy, you should stick with it. people who lose weight rapidly tend to gain it back (that's how fad diets works you lose weight rapidly then get it back.) @berry: stare exactly what kind of work are you doing? i stock trucks full of umpqua products and hope i don't break anything. rofl

@789 - What is it that you don't understand? The theory, or how to answer the questions? If it's the theory, then you can go and see your teacher or something to talk about it, because triple science is not harder than double, trust me, it's just MORE stuff. Or get the people who seem to do well to explain it to you. If it's about how to answer questions then all it takes is practice.. you just have to know what the question is asking and what the examiner wants to see. Sometimes it's best to just LEARN things even if you don't understand totally -- I did that a lot in Physics 'cause I just.. didn't really get forces and motion (I mean, I did, but not in that ultra-clear way as I got Chem or Bio) so I just learnt all the formulas and when to apply them.. don't give up! (:

@niphz: learning things require you to understand it totally does it not? I prefer to just memorize it all. I should've done that in Stats. I tried learning it... yeah... didn't work out well for me. rofl

Sapp: Well, you have someone here who failed her triple sciences so badly school forced me to do double the second year of my GCSEs. Phff. But... as someone who has experienced both types of syllabuses, I do think double is easier - not only because, as Niph said, there's a lot less to learn, but because the actual logic of it is also easier to grasp; there's much less detail and you travel at such a slower speed (that was my school though; at my school, the triple science was like a rollercoaster, and the double like a merry-go-round; the difference was unbelievable). It made a whole lot of difference for me in chemistry, because I had too many numbers in chemistry in triple, but I got to double and we had none of it, which I was so grateful for.
However, this may not all apply to you as I (and I'm sure Niph too) did the old syllabus for science; they've changed it into modules now, haven't they? You should do the GCSE over two years rather than one. God, that must suck. sad Apparently it's harder. And I found the normal one hard enough as it was.
What advice should I give you then about taking/dropping subjects... It doesn't really matter how many GCSEs you get as long as you get eight at least, if your GCSEs are really good - like, straight As/A*s. There's no point in doing more if you're gonna get less marks. For example, my school asked me to do the right thing, because they wanted me to get A*s, which I did. With triple, I probably wouldn't have. I'm glad I dropped because at the end of the day I got better results because of it. No point in getting one more GCSE if it's gonna be a bad one, if you ask me.
Also, I had a Chinese GCSE, so maybe do that? Because that one is soooo easy, and an easy GCSE. Makes up for that third science, and you gained a language! 3nodding
