And i gotta wear glasses now, cos i went to the opticians today and took an eye test and i had a minor problem with my eyes >_<
no wonder i had problems reading my RE and Music whiteboard at school, from a far distance.... Ah geez, doomed to wear glasses (or contacts) for the rest of your life. rofl

On some days when my eyes are a tad watery I too have a slight problem seeing long distance words. When I was in grade 6, I spent my time reading books. In grade 8, I was programming in QBASIC. In highschool, I was programming in Turing WinOOT and Java. Come university, it was the microscope. My eyes are both -6.00 (near-sighted), I can't see things clearly even if they're 12 inches from my nose. And they say science is blind.... it's just the scientist. sweatdrop

My long distance cognition and visibility are both excellent and I can read thousands of words a day close up without much damage, which is what I'm required to do now.

My school does that too, only with Neopets rolleyes
The school computers never lets me go on any site that i like gonk all the sites that i usually go on are blocked crying
and gaia is one of em....
And are teachers allowed to swear in school? Cos we were reading a book called The Kingdom By The Sea today, and it had the s**t word in it o.O My english teacher was reading it outloud too, so everybody heard it....
And i didnt know that bloody and bugger were actually swear words eek and i've been using the word bloody a few times gonk no wonder my brother keeps saying i swear when i dont even kno it stressed

My school blocks the sites I regularly visit (Gaia, YouTube, etc) by the second. And well now, they block basically ANY site that isn't school related. And then, we now aren't able to go through the "System Preferences" and change anything to override the blocked-ness. Yeah.. it sucks. >__<;
