(During your attack roll, simply state you are running away and roll the dice. If I can't beat your roll you escape, but be aware by trying to run away ...you open yourself to attacks)
The Sunkern's attack missed as he would bounce backwards and away. He saw the Cherubi's charge and he was determine he wasn't going to take a hit from that pokemon ...grass against grass, considering the weakest he would prove that as being different.

The attack missed as the Sunkern managed to get underneath it ...as he rolled to the side. He was aiming his entire body forward and closer to his opponent he needed to get underneath the Cherubi's guard and maybe it's feet as he rolled to a stop by his feet. A smirk was on his face as the ball would form in this mouth this time as he shoot it forward and at the underbelly of the pokemon as he used ...Absorb.
The move actually kicking up a small dust coat behind the as it shout with the force of a bullet at him.

(11-8 + 8-6=5)(5x2=10 damage)Elijah grinned as Scorpio almost took down the Pokémon with one hit. "Prepare for an attack Scorpio," Elijah called out to his Pokémon. Scorpio dropped back and landed on the ground waiting for the Cacnea to attack.

(8 - 3 + 6 - 7 = 4dmg/2 = 2dmg to foe/2 = 1dmg recover to Sunkern)
The attack would hit this time as it hit with the force of a bullet. The move tearing through him and into him as the plant type pokemon would land squarely back on his side as he would roll to try and get the distances necessary to defend himself.
It had worked, his attack, and now that he had an idea of what worked he had every plan of doing it again and again.

There wouldn't be a long wait as his arm would start to radiate with power as he would focus his eyes on his opponent. He would start forward swiftly as he would rush towards the Gligar with his arm out. He had plans to tear that pokemon's head for his body as the pain from that poison sting still hung tightly against him, but pain is always best when shared.
He plan to hit him with another Focus Punch.

The Sunkern's attack had managed to make contact, causing the Cherubi to get knocked on the side. Forte cursed underneath his breath, as he pushed his body to stand up. This was all the human's fault. Instead of forming a plan to get them out of here, the brown haired boy made him stay in the field to fight. Despite all of his driven fury to make sure to survive, there was only so much his body could actually take. The cherry-like Pokemon glared daggers at the Sunkern, before looking back at his Trainer. Jake had been watching the battle mostly silent, except for the few commands during the phases. The Cherubi had already showed the skills it needed to survive even without his help, so he assumed it could survive. And if it didn't, it would most likely just faint. It would seem to be a cruel outlook on things, but with his knowledge about this type of personality, the only way this stubborness would subside would be a push to the limits kind of thing that would help the Cherubi realize it needed teamwork.
The hit that his Cherubi had just taken was a major point into developing that. As Forte eyed over to him, Jake just motioned back over to the battlefield. It was going to fight until it had admitted it needed help. The Cherubi omitted some sort of growl signalling its frustration. It was his turn to attack now, but there was obviously no point in doing so if he actually wanted to survive. The human like he said, refused to let him out of the battle field, so the only thing left to do was to run for it. It was likely the human would follow after him without any complaints, though the cherry Pokemon would hate himself for this later. With one final glare at the Sunkern, the Cherubi dashed towards the opposite direction where the rest of the path out of the forest was. Hopefully he would be able to escape without another injury. Elijah took a empty ball from his belt and spun it on his finger, he was thinking about either attacking and trying to finish off the Cacnea or throwing the ball and attempting to capture him. He already had one grass Pokemon and if he caught Cacnea he would most likely have to use up his potion on it. "Ok Scorpio! Get ready! Aim at the Cacnea once more and hit it with a Poison Sting!" Elijah made his choice clear as the Gligar aimed it's stringer at the Cacnea and started firing.

Michael arrived at the island after a while, he got off the boat and looked around "Okay, now I should complete the task Professor Allison assigned me. I must capture atleast one healing pokemon that has a move that, not only heals itself, but heals others too. Going to be hard though." He said as he thought of a way to capture the first pokemon without fighting it.

Michael would find himself with an even worst problem as he step upon the sands of the desert. The place he had landed on this island was one of the most inhospitable ....as the sands would curl with his movements. He had a long way to go, and it wasn't going to get any cooler since he had arrived in the midst of the day .....and that meant that the sun was reaching it's peak.
He had just arrived in Purgatory.
