Kumizu didn't flinch. "No, I'm not scared, and no, I'm not going to 'play along'. Now you're just acting irrational." Though he sounded calm on the outside he was worried... about Ayise. She didn't act like this normally, and he didn't know what had sparked it.
Kumizu wasn't going to fight her. These threats didn't change his mind. She doesn't seem to realize I'm in constant danger no matter what.

Inside the cave, the runes began to pulse in what seemed like a heartbeat. They shone black and silver. A soft mixture of black and silver mist began to stretch across the floor of the cave andcontinued to move onward. It covered the cave in what seemed like a blanket, stretching so that it covered everything. Along the walls, the runes spread to cover them and then form on the ceiling of the cave. The fake wall was even up. Three small glows appeared in the center of the room. Each began to grow brighter until were someone to look at them, they would go blind with a glance.

"Who're you calling irrational? It makes perfect sense." She stated her eyes glittering suspiciously. "Don't you understand, no matter what we'll always have opposite views." She frowned, "you treat me like I'll break or something! I'm not helpless."
Ayise held her head down, taking even steady breaths. Her eyes closed, then without warning she attacked him slashing the razor sharp claws at him.

Kumizu stood and grabbed her hands at the wrists. His face was still annoyingly calm. "I know you're not helpless. Neither is..." He stopped for a moment, trying to figure who to use as an example instead of...
"...my sister. But I still protected her. And her husband. And her nephew. None of them are 'fragile', but I still look out for them. Like you. Now stop this nonsense." He took her wrists and pushed them behind her back, in a sort of hug which would restrain her arms.

As the light brightened, each rune began to let off singular tones. Joined together it was like listening to a song. The song was ancient and seemed to echo through the cavern. Stillness enveloped the area as the lights began to pulse in time with the runes. The water began to shimmer and seemed to almost become nothing. It was still there but it was as if it wasn't. No other sound could be heard.

Sukai wandered around. His hands in his pockets. He prefered the forest to the busy world of the modern day."This is so much better than hanging around the school." he said with a grin. The moment would have been just perfect, if it weren't for that tree branch in the way.Sukai tripped over it and fell down hard. "Curse my clumsyness...."he said with a groan. He sat up and frowned."So much for a good day."he said as he reajusted his glasses.

"...!!" Shock was written all over her face, "Let go of me!" Rage replaced her shock, she attempted to escape, struggling.
"Just who do you think you are?! Fight me like a man! I don't need to be protected.!" She almost wailed, increasingly fustrated with her position. "Kumi-chan, please..." she looked up at him with soft eyes, suddenly very calm. "I'm fine now, let me go..." Her fingers twitched in annoyance, a dead giveaway to her act.

As the lights grew in pitch, they began to pulse together. Three beams shot out and began tracing the runes along the wall where the portal was. More beams hit the other runes covering the cavern. They began to slowly trace them, carving them into the rock as power began to surge beyond the cave in slow waves. The time was near.

Even without telepathy, Kumizu could tell that Ayise was lying. He didn't want to use water, but at the same time, he needed to subdue her. What about that Vulcan neckgrip thing? He'd only been successful with this a couple of times, but what the hell?
Kumizu wrapped one arm completely around Ayise, still keeping both her arms behind her. He let go with his other hand, with one swift motion, pinched her neck. If it was the right spot, she would crumple to the ground. He hoped it was the right spot.

She looked up at him, "Let me go, please Kumi-chan..." She cooed in a sickly sweet way. "You'd never hurt me, right?" She asked, her green eyes narrowed on him. "Please..."
Ayise furrowed her brow at him in confusion (when he touched her neck) for a moment before her body went limp ans eh was completely silent.

Kumizu sighed. At least she wasn't kicking anymore. He picked up Ayise and held her in a cradling position. He'd probably just take her back to her dorm room. Let her get some rest, and hopefully not wake up in this b***h mode she suddenly was in. He looked down at her as he was walking. She looked so cute when she was asleep... and in his arms.

The Blood Demon wasted no time with looking for her through the blood flooded eyes of his body, following the scent of her blood he jumped up on the branch she was on with the blade in his right hand only and he grabbed her before she had any time to do anything anout him being on her branch. He jumped off it quickly after securing her in his grasp and after puncturing the gorund with the blood blade he slid down it and droppped her hard on the ground kicking the blade up in the air as he did so. He grabbed the hilt when it was near enough and then held the blade to her throat from as close as was possible. "Stop running...it's a waste of your energy...and my time. In this body at least..." The Blood Demon stood there and waited to see if she would respond to this in an aggresive way or not, he felt as if he was beginning to lose more and more interest in the killing of her, though he was not about to quit so soon.

Karin froze, eyes widening as she saw him land on the branch before her. But, before she had time to spring away again, he'd grabbed her. She resisted the urge to hold onto him for support while they were in the air, not sure how he'd react to it. Instead, she clenched her hands tightly, straight at her sides. She grunted quietly as she hit the ground, but quickly lifted her head again to see what he would do next. She took in a sharp breath as she felt the blade to her neck, but her eyes only narrowed as her face took on a look of irritation. It's not like she wasn't used to this kind of treatment, though it was horrible that Suka was the one doing it this time. Her hands clenched again, but stayed at her sides, and the water she'd gathered floated by her head again as she stared steadily at him. She didn't know what to do, but she didn't want to risk angering him further when he was the one with a sword to her neck. So she stayed silent for a moment, and then growled very quietly in her throat. "And why are you so interested in chasing me?" she asked suddenly.

The Blood Demon stood there a few moments, not answering her question. The Blade liquified again all bnut the hilt and dropped on top of her solidifying once it had her pinned. "Because you bleed..." he said this fast and simple and nelt down by her setting the hilt to his side and liquifying the blood for the final time as he pinned her to the ground with his arms, adjusting himself so that he was on top of her and pinning her from that position. "I just want tp play with your blood...but if you don't bleed I can't do that..." he became suddenly silent and looked into her eyes...what he was going to do to her at this point was only a matter of choice...The Blood Demon kept her pinned as he decded in what way he would make er bleed...a few more questions might come first. At this particular moment though, he kep tsilent and waited for her next move.

Karin gazed at him steadily, but she jumped slightly as the hilt landed on her to hold her still again. She gritted her teeth as she opened the eyes that she'd closed in surprise, and they shot wide at his next comment. Because I bleed? she thought nervously, glancing at the wound on her arm he'd already caused. It'd cut through her sweatshirt's sleeve, and the fabric was already soaked red from the blood there, and it was still leaking out. Then she looked quickly back at him, closing her eyes as he pinned her down by positioning himself on top of her. Her tail was stuck uncomfortably beneath her now as her ears flattened back angrily. Her eyes slowly opened a second after as she glared at him, though her face had flushed faintly red. "How the hell do you play with blood?" she snapped. "Now, get off of me!" The water she'd had floating beside her suddenly rushed forward, slamming into Suka's front in an attempt to push him off.
