Focht smiled and looked down at the rose. He gently accepted it and twirled it between his fingers, the thorns on it cut off by an unseen force. He gently tucks the rose behind her ear, and sighs.
"The rose... to my thorns......."

Lan had often visited the gardens when no one was about, and for the first time he heard the earth speak of another being within the soft and calming area. Drawing a deep breath he sighed, his sigh sounded like a giant bumble bee. The Earthen Brother told him it was two people. One woman, one man...the Breath of Life told him that they were lovers...though one held great strength, it was still capable of passion. It was odd to find someone who had not been corrupted by the power given to them by the Silver Mother. Lan had been sitting there for so long his scent was part of his natural surroundings, so if anyone could track through scent they would only smell nature. His massive silver broad sword was cleaved through the ground and he lay back on it, like a chair. A gentle breeze danced through his hair and he welcomed the Breath of Life with open arms.
"One day this land will be purged of all those that would destroy it. I vow it..."
Closing his eyes he relished in the soft touch of the Silver Mother. Though no one knew him, he knew many people. The one named Xol caught his eye the most though, he and the individual known as Focht. Both were odd...one was twisted and obviously evil, but the Breath of Life told him that there was a spot in which no evil could touch, perhaps love? The other was caring, compassionate, and seemed full of caring love, but as of late he has been degrading and dieing slowly. He knew nothing of either of their personality, but from what the Breath of Life told him, they were both strong in mind, body, and soul.

Focht gently brushes Sai's hair out of her face ignoring the other presence he felt. He was letting her look into his eyes, revealing the hatred, anger, and intent to kill that was now shown there.
"Always blushing..... The rose fits with your blushing."

*she smiled and glanced into his eyes, she knew those weren't the loving and caring eyes she glanced upon before. She didnt think of that. she placed a hand on his face and softly caressed it, as she stared into his eyes, hers filled with uncontrolable love for him.*

Lan smiled to himself as the Breath of Life whispered in his ear. He was young, in comparison to other Silver Giants, but even he could feel emotions on the wind. Nothing but undieing love. He almost wanted to uproar and laugh out load! There was still love in this forsaken land? It was amazing. Grunting softly he pushed himself to his feet and turned around to face his sword. An instrament of death that helped him heal the hurt. That thought caused his face to cring in disgust. Grasping the leather bound handle in a massive hand he ripped the silver broad sword from the ground. Earthen Brother cried out in pain and Lan apollogized. Pointing the tip of his blade against the wound of the earth a soft white light pulses, not only from his sword but from him as well. The ground seemed to bubble up and Lan could feel the joy that the Earthen Brother expressed. The wind sang in happiness and the tree's danced merrily. Nodding to himself he started away from any hope of being seen. His sword was returned to his massive sheeth and his boots thudded against the soft ground. He sank into the earth slightly as he walked. Even from clear across the gardens anyone, who happened to run their eyes along the area, would see Lan. He was 13 feet tall, but from a distance looked like a normal man.

Lan had left the two alone, and when he returned they were both gone. He assumed that they had both left, his assumption were proven correct when the Breath of Life gently sang the song of loneliness. Nodding to himself he stabbed his sword through the ground and cringed as he felt the earth cry out in pain. The earth had been through far to much to let a simple little thing like Lan's silver broad sword harm it. It had survived the ice age, volcanic erruptions, harsh storms, meteors, anything imaginable! It even survived the vicious assult that the damned humans and creatures of darkness wage upon it every day. Everywhere he goes there is always some sort of death or decay, the gardens were no exceptions. Sitting down and leaning back against his sword, using it as the back of a chair, he sighs deeply. His sigh resembled the noise a giant bee would make, the sound verberated deep in his chest. He was always alone. It didn't bother him to much, because he was the last of his kind, so it was just natural for him to be alone. It's just when it's late in the night, and it's cold out, does he really begin to think about his home, his wife, and his life.

Karalyn Rayne stepped into the gardens with a small smile. She picked up her colorful skirt as she walked up some steps and sat on a bench near a creek. She had never been to the gardens, but she had heard many great things about it. How peacful it was and how beautiful. She was beginning to wish she had come earlier, but she pushed those thoughts aside as she watched the creek calmly flow by. Her ovalish face and small nose and chin made her look a bit younger than she was. She had just turned twenty a few days ago, but she looked like a giddy teenager, and she hated that fact. Her eyes were always calm and cool. One was a light brown, the other a light blue. Her dark brown, curly hair fell to the middle of her back and she had many sections braided and she had made a loose bun with the braids. As a cool wind blew by, she shivered and wrapped her red velvet cloak tighter around her. The hood was large, and shadowed her face a bit and since it was lined with black silk, it was hard to tell if there was a person in there. Sometimes, if the light hit it right, one could see her mismathced eyes in the darkness. She sighed happily and continued to watch the water. To amuse herself, she stared at it intently and focused on three large drops of water coming out of the creek and floating in the air. She could see this happening in her mind, and soon, it became reality. With a smile, she made more little drops come from the creek to make the three drops of water larger until they were each the size of a childs fist. She made them spin slowly, then faster. They then began to weave in and out of the other, circling around and around in an odd fashion as they continued to spin. They spun faster and faster, and their circle grew tighter. Then they crashed into each other with a small burst of light. Hundreds of tiny drops of water slowly drifted back into the creek and Kara smiled, glad that she could practice her skills in peace.

*Zenkai slowly made his way around. He didn't really know where he was and didn't really care. He was waiting for the perfect time to make a move. Until then he just kept low. He sighed as he decided to take a rest on a rock. He curled up a bit and closed his eyes, letting his ears be the new look out*
Naromi... I shall never know why you protect such worthless people. No wonder you failed your mission. Don't worry though you won't be back to see them anymore anyway
*he chuckled slightly with a dark grin*

A soft breeze blew through the gardens, and Lan was still sitting there. People came and went, though none noticed the giant that had hidden himself quiet well. Since he had been sitting there for so long he appeared to be part of the nature himself, his scent blended with the gentle smell of the wildflowers and the trees. His aura had been stretched and was soon weaved in with everything else. He was everywhere, but he wasn't even there. His eyes were close, but he was wide awake.
"Tis a shame these men and women can't stop fighting for two minutes and enjoy the beauty they have here."

Two dozen orcs errupted from the ground as a perverse aura of earth magic errupted from no where. It twisted the plants it came in contact with as the orcs all carrying crossbows and swords began looking for targets. Two carried torches to use in burning the area.

Brother Earth cried out in pain as these vile creatures suddenly appeared from the ground, destroying the beauty of the gardens. Lan normally wasn't a very violent individual, despite the fact that he was a giant and carried around such a massive sword, and normally wasn't quick to anger, but this! The pain of the earth coarsed through Lan's entire being, building his strength. The rage of the Breath of Life seeped into his blood, fueling his rage. His eyes took a silver sheen to them as he stood to his feet. Ka'lana, the massive silver broadsword that had been cleaved through the ground, was yanked out by Lan's powerful arm. Chunks of earth and grass flew about the area as he let out a bone curtling snarl.
"Foul beasts! You dare violate such a beautiful place with your horrid being?! By the light of the Silver Mother! Your corpses will be before my feet!"
Standing at a staggering 13 feet tall, and wielding a 6 foot silver broad sword, Lan was more then a scary sight to behold!

The orcs turned souless eyes on the man and quickly formed two rows the first kneeling while the second stood. Twenty-four bows pointed at Lan and the arrows were released. The front row began reloading while the back row drew swords and moved apart in a staggered line.

Having fought the Butcher of the Skies, Lan was more then accustom to the pain that arrows brought. Orcish arrows slammed into his body and found his muscular body to be far more resistant then a normal man would hold. His body pulsed a soft silver light as the ground under the orcs quaked for a breif moment. If and while the orcs were confused or distracted by the small quake, Lan took the time to charge. Holding the blade, Ka'lana, with both hands, his left arm crossed over his face to protect it, he quickly closed the distance with four or five great bounds. If the orcs had been confused by the quake then his sword would have hit the first row of orcs, if they weren't distracted then he would just sweep his sword over as many as possible. He shouted out in rage that seemed to fuel his powerful swing. Unless the orcs before him could halt a rampaging giant then they had better dodge out of the way, and, orcs being large brutish creatures, there was little chance of that. Though these orcs were different, he couldn't exactly see why, but they were. Perhaps they fought differently as well.
