((@ Nyoko, Speaker, and Nata))
Rhia accepted the brief hug gladly, rubbing at her eyes. "Oh, please. This burns so badly..."
The sudden whistle drew Rhia's watery-eyed attention and it didn't take her more than a second to realize what she was looking at. Her eyes widened in spite of the pain, but it took her a moment to realize the forest was a good enough barrier that she didn't need to run. Which she did anyway, stopped a few feet away behind a thick tree. She stared back at Carter and Oyumi, then abruptly rubbed at her eyes again.
"Ugh! This tear gas must be melting my brain too." She approached them again and this time actually took Oyumi's water bottle. "This is too much. I never knew Team Rocket could go to such lengths."
Liam's sudden scream, on the tail end of the missile's firing, distracted Rhia into sloshing water all down her face. She spluttered a moment as she wiped it off, then she stared at him. What shrine? None of them had been to Motterossa before. She was sure Liam had mentioned that at some point. How would he know there was a shrine, and what good would that do him? Rhia narrowed her eyes at him, not so sure that his panic was born just from Team Rocket's attack.
"It's as good an idea as any," she mentioned to Oyumi and Carter. "Let's follow him."
Edit for Fayah's post! XD: When everyone had made it to the clearing, Rhia slowed and dropped by the stream, using the water to help wash her face and continue cleaning her eyes. Oh thank God. The water bottle hadn't been enough.
"Remind me I owe you two water bottles," Rhia commented to Oyumi, figuring the girl was somewhere nearby.

To the Attackers::
He wasn't giving up. What was running going to do?
Not suprised at his lack of support, the breeder looked for the source of the canisters being distributed. As if to pick up his trainers thoughts, the Absol aimed his Razor Wind straight for the culprits. "Give it your best shot! All your might, let's go!" the breeder yelled, muffled by his mask. With that, the Absol growled loudly, and sent the attack with all it's might, jumping back to keep its distance from the creeping gas.

@ forest people Opal heard the call to get to the shrine and took out Ursalyn to ride on. She followed the others to the shrine.

 @Xiaflame;
"About the best we can hope for around here, apparently," Corn joked as they made their way to the clearing, following the crowd.

@ Leader and Chocobo
Alexa patted Vincent and looked at Lynne. It certainly was upsetting to see the dead pokemon. Hearing Flint she slowly nodded. "There's no time." She quickly hopped up on Vincent and offered her hand to Flint, "Come on." Apolla and Stribog were ready to go and make sure Mina followed.

Rachel took off after Lumina and Liam once she heard about the clearing. 'Missiles! How could they just shot missiles at us!' she thought as she tried to rein in her panic.

@Motobon
"They killed a pokemon," she said staring in the direction of the inn with puffy red eyes. "How...How could they?" She held her head close to her meowth who purred and nuzzled her in an attempt to comfort his mournful trainer. "I'm sorry, it just reminds me of times I would like to forget," she said to the magician. "Forgive my weakness."

@ Anyone Shina moans softly as she begins to get her breath back. The move to the clearing had been hard, and her lungs and eyes still burn.
Shina touches the pokeball of her rental ponyta. She had thought the pokemon was safely stabled at the inn, discovering that it had ended up with the other captured pokemon had been an unpleasant shock. Still, she had recovered Rasha just before the chaotic escape, for which she was grateful. Briefly, Shina wondered if she would be able to buy the companion she had grown close to on the journey, before letting out a sigh that is barely more than a breath. The contract had clearly stated that the rental pokemon were not for sale, and must be returned, without exception.
Blinking, Shina tries to fight the tiredness that is dragging her reddened, still tearing eyes down. Is she . . . safe?

Lady Mist "Agreed." Lumina huffed, "What do you think.." She paused, realizing he was no longer looking at either her or the inn in the distance. In fact, it looked like he wasn't looking at anything at all, "Liam?"
She shook his shoulder to no response, suddenly afraid that the gas might have done something. But then she saw his facial features, and realized that he was more at peace than she'd seen since the start of the trip, "You heard it, didn't you?" She whispered, recognizing that blank stare all at once. Liam's gaze shifted to Lumina as they took off, the realization that that time... when she had spaced... had been something remarkably similar, and he nodded sharply, panting a little.
He wanted to talk to her. Now that he knew, he wanted to know what it had said to her, even to reassure himself he wasn't... crazy. But at the moment, the urgency of running was much too strong. Instead, he offered her his hand, not wanting to get separated, not with the present danger.
EDIT
(I AM SO SLOW)
As they reached the clearing, Liam once again planted his hands on his knees, letting himself rest, his legs feeling remarkably like jelly.

A clearing? Anise barely heard the yell, she was already running. She followed along with whoever else seemed to be going into the forest, hoping it was the right way.
Eventually they group found a clearing with a stone shrine in it, and a lake. She collapsed against a tree, gasping for breath after all the panic and running. Would they be safe here?

Lizzie reacted on instinct when she heard another round of shouting. Missile? Clearing? Shrine? She didn't ask any of these questions out loud but flew on anyway, and didn't stop until they reached a clearing. Well, there was one after all. Who knew?
She and her Lugia collapsed into a tired pile. She didn't have this much excitement in one day, not since the last Pokemon tournament she entered...

Jay could hear the sounds around him, people and pokemon running. It sounded like total chaos was around him. Jay, however was laying on the ground not five feet from the barrier, wheezing for breath and wondering if he would die here. His throat burned and his eyes refused to open. He couldn't even find the strength to pull himself back onto his hands and knees.

It doesn't seem like anything is going to get through anytime soon.
