Yeah...we use an analog box and just the free channels from the air, like 4, 6, 12...or whatever those channels would be for you. Basically all the news channels and stuff. But it has a better picture because the analog box makes it HD, and it's even better than the cable picture.
He's been trying to find the shows I used to watch, but he hasn't been able to because it's too new (it just came out in April of '09). So...I'm thinking if my mom bugs him enough, he'll get it back. He's done this before, after getting rid of it for a week, he'll go and get another cable box that's supposed to work better. Then he'll get rid of it, then it'll just keep going around like that. I think once I get a job, I'll pay for my own cable in my room. I don't care if it's a crappy picture, I just wanna see it.

Para, this was our first yaoicon! And it was AWESOME! Demyx (One of the two arranging the entire thing[We call her Demyx since she cosplayed Demyx on last years Desucon and both Aicon and Soracon this year]) Did a REALLY good job! She was the one arranging the fanservice. Brilliant work with the buttlers!
One of the butlers actually said that he'd be willing to go as far as it was LEGAL to go in Norway on the stage.
Brilliant.
I really wanna do the gothic loli-look on Desucon! Maybe I will, maybe I won't. Guess it depends on whether I can actually find the outfit or not.
The singer in the band that played on J-Rock Night started a congaline on Soracon, and it is on youtube. s**t, I'm dancing conga on youtube!
There were actually 400 people on Aicon, and an astronishing 2000-something on Soracon! Why is 2000 such a huge number? Because last year, there were only 500 people attending Soracon! And on Desucon, they're expecting 4000 - 5000 people! Anime-Norway is getting huge, it seems. biggrin
Of course you're supposed to yell and scream your lungs out on a concert! 'specially a J-Rock one if you ask me. It was amazing. And the band was awesome.
I'm a bit hyper at the moment. Damn ice cream.
I like purple high-lights. o3o Though at the moment it's more dark red than anything. Eeeevil sun removing the purple!
And congratulations on being done with your finals Turayza! biggrin 'Course, makes me want to gloat about not having had any school for weeks...
Seriously Kineka? I feel for you. Not being able to watch your shows.. GAH. How frustrating! I'd kick something, just for the heck of kicking. Then I'd whine about my foot hurting...
Oh! I made a splendid deal after Soracon! I got to fill an entire bag of manga for... less than 30 dollars! I grabbed manga worth at LEAST 600 dollars! Some of the manga I don't even want, but that just mean I get to sell'em when I turn 18 on e-bay or something. I'll earn money on that deal! razz
I also mentioned to my friend that we'd used over 400 dollars on Outland infront of the Outland stand... The owner of the stores just staaaared at us for a while, before telling us that we could grab one thing from the stand for free! I think I love Outland even more now if possible.
Minerva, I don't feel comfertable loaning someone that much money either. I was supposed to get them immediately after, but she snivelled her way out of it... Well, I'm getting them in the middle of July...
I bought an awesome Desucon shirt too. o3o I <3 Roar. And then a picture of Roar the Dinosaur. Roar is Desucon's mascot.
And now I'm sick of random rambling. I wanna eat something.. I want kiwi!

Dark red's cool too. Mine's slowly turning dark red. I think it's prettier than the light brown it used to be. I was almost blonde before. Yuck. No offense to you blondes on here smile .

Ya know, I've never had kiwi I don't think...other than in this tart-pie-cake type thingy my family and I had at Thanksgiving.

He just ran his mouth about them yesterday, and I got really mad. He says all they are are racist, sexist, and dirty. He said they won't accept you unless you're like them. Maybe in his century. I've met plenty of gays, they're all really nice people. My mom agrees with me on that, she's pretty open-minded about that. She doesn't agree with what they do, but she'll be nice to them and stand up for them when my dad's running his mouth about them. Ugh...I just wish he'd realize that they're people too and they deserve to be treated like that.
Strawberry ice cream is amazing! I love that Strawberry cheesecake stuff that they have at Dairy Queen. Yummm.
I don't even have a boyfriend yet, I never have. My parents are pretty cool about it right now, but as soon as I bring a guy home, they'll turn into some over-protective monsters. Ugh...can't wait...

Seriously, I'm crying right now....
It's 5 am, and I just got home from babysitting..
The father came home, really drunk...
And he started asking me weird questions.. So I was seriously getting afraid..
And then the b*****d actually KISSED me! He's over twice my age...
There went my first kiss....
Worst of all, I couldn't leave since I needed him to call the taxi. And he actually said that he was going to be difficul about it, since I didn't wanna do anything with him...
I managed to get him to call the taxi, but it took over an HOUR till it arrived...
I feel so ******** dirty... I jumped in the shower when I got home.
I don't know what to do.. He was so drunk that he didn't even remember that he had asked me three times if I had astma, just so he could take a smoke...
I was so scared that he was going to do or try something else, you can't even imagine...

Call the police on him! That's sexual abuse! Plus he shouldn't be coming home drunk when he has a young kid in the house. That's dangerous too. I say this guy's a walking jail cell.

Kitsune, that's so terrible! Kineka is right; it's sexual abuse. You're a minor, right? The court would definitely side with you easily if you pressed charges.
One of my best friends had her first kiss stolen by a drunk woman in her 30's when she was only around 11 years-old. I told her not to count it as her first because she didn't participate in it (She didn't kiss back or anything) so you shouldn't count that as yours either.

'fraid that in Norway, you're considered to be sexually legal once your 16. In otherwords, we're allowed to do po*n here when we're sixteen, but not watch it till we're eighteen.
Oh the wonders of logic. rolleyes
I talked to my mother and Kurt about it (he actually suspected as soon as I came home yesterday, since I jumped straight into the shower), and we all agree that I'm not gonna babysit there anymore.
I'm also going to talk to the kids mother about it. Wouldn't want him to get a new female teenager as a babysitter who'd end up in the same akward situation...
The guy was so drunk he probably doesn't remember it anymore anyway.

OMG! That's so terrible Kitsune. I don't know what to say..dirty perverted old men. I went to my boyfriend's cousins party and a dirty old man stared down my shirt twice and was right beside our table it was seriously gross. He asked my boyfriend, "bring her back when she graduates from college"...he wanted to punch him! I'm so glad I have my room back! For about 2 weeks or so my room has been out commission and I just painted it this pretty violet color last night. Gothic lolita is like this...  Obviously..my dress isn't that short. I just have to find the boots and bonnet like thing and parasol...

Yay! We won! We should have an e-party or something, lol. Maybe now that my computer's working properly I could actually participate.
I agree that 16 year olds doing porn IS wrong. Just to think...if I lived in Norway, in September, I'd be able to do that...-shivers-.
I guess I should be rejoicing in the fact that I haven't had older men look at me...but I have had teenage and college-aged men look at me when their girlfriends, or some hotter teenage girls, are right next to them. That's not really disgusting, especially since most of them have been pretty cute 3nodding . And that gothic lolita thing looks really cute. Although my mom would faint if she caught me walking out of the house in that, it's still cute. She was actually kind of reluctant to send me into Hot Topic yesterday with $40 to get an HP T-shirt (which I love so much! biggrin ), because she thought I would come back with like, Hucci-mama stuff.
OH! And I just remembered what I wanted to tell you all. I joined The Sorting Hat guild on here, just out of curiousity of what they would say. When I finished the questionaire and posted it, I got one vote for Ravenclaw and 2 for Hufflepuff...and I just felt like saying that smile .

The gothic loli is very cute! I was looking online on some websites from japan to get that stuff and it's super expensive! There is this website where you can create your own dress and have the company make it for you and it would have cost me around $350 with taxes!
I'm going to look around in old stores and the goodwill to see what I can find.
What are you all going to do for 4th of july weekend?
