^_^;; Crystal took his hand and stood up. With her other hand she rubbed the back of her head lightly as she smiled.
"I've never been to good at the landing part."
She spoke with a smile and looked ready to keep going with the training.
"But I'm ready to try again if you like."

Focht smiled and took a few steps back.
"Its up to you... you are the trainee here so attack when you want while we are in the trainning room. This time I won't counter, I'll dodge or block. Give you alittle more pratice."

Crystal chuckled as she heard Focht. She swung the left sai at his gut. With out thinking she spun on her right just a hair to a** a kick to his knee. Where was a slight look of confusion on her face as she did so.

Focht jumped back alittle, using his Grand Klaive to deflect the swing at his gut but didn't expect the kick at his knee from her this early in her training. Turning to the side alittle he avoided a direct hit to the knee cap but was off balance now. he uses the force of her kick to his advantage and lets it rotate him around taking 2 large steps back from her.

Crystal took a step back from FOcht and titled her head. She wasn't much of a fighter and did't know were that move had come from. Turning to put teh weapons up she spoke in a low voice.
"I'm sorry about that."

"Where did you learn that?"
Focht sheathed his Grand Klaive that he had been using. He walked over to the corner where the other one, the unfinshed one, was sitting and put that one in the other sheath. He turned and looked at her waiting for an answer.

"I... I didn't. I was in train to be an archer not a fighter."
Crystal turned with a light smiled as she looked up.
"Maybe there is a fighter in me and I didn't even know it."
She walked past Focht and out into the main room. Crystal curled up onto the couch, resting her head in her hands. That was the second time she had done something odd since she arrived here.

Focht smiled and walked out of the training room after her.
"You might be right Crystal... The best fighters fight on instinct, do what comes naturally. One day you will reach a point that it will happen like that all of the time in a fight, it will seem natural to you."
He sits on a chair and relaxes.
"Just be careful and you should live to see that day. Not being careful made me what I am............."

Crystal looked up after hearing his statment. She wasn't sure what to make of it.
"Your a wolf right?"

Focht sighs and looks at his feet.
"You have seen my blood and what it does...... you saw how that shadow's attacks didn't phase me......"

I could have let you take pot shots at the shadow as it tried to kill me and I would have been fine." Focht closes his eyes, missing the days when it was a fight for his life most of the time.
