A shadow swirled in the corner of the dojo and slowly rose up the wall. A pair of red eyes looked about the room as it moved across the room, taking its time. It stopped at he saw the bow and its eyes narrowed.
Crystal puased as she spotted the shadow moving on the wall. Her face went cold as she slowly stood up and made her way to her weapon, leaning against the wall.
"Focht... did you want to see a shadow?"

Crystal pointed to the wall where a black mass was moving about.
"They are weak in the light and magic is best al killing thim."
She picked up her bow and aimed it at the Shadow in the wall. An arrow appeard in it as she got read to shoot
The Shadow stopped moving as it now watched the girl and Focht. It hissed in a raspy voice before speaking. "We knew some one left the kingdom for help but to find its only a little girl... we laugh at this." black spiked tendrals came out of the walls, 4 at each person in the room.

Focht moved just enough to ensure the tentrals didn't hit anything vital. As the tendrals hit they acted whips making deep cuts, one across his chest, another on one of his legs and one on each arm. With a sigh, the blood from the wounds begins to burn holes in the floor.
"You should check your intellegence on what you are up against..."
He turns to Crystal.
"This is a shadow you were talking about?"

The tendrils hit her a few times as she let the arrow fly. It turned to ice and missed her make as she winced a few times. Crystal jumped back and landed on the balls of her feet as she tried to stay out of there reach. She gave Focht a quick nod.
Alone its not too bad but when you have hundreds after you...nothing is left alive."
There was sorrow and anger a she spoke about the Shadows. She had seen first hand what the shadows could do.
The Shadow stopped its attack as its tendrils burned from the few drops of Fochts blood that hit it. It hiss as it looked to Focht and spoke only to him "What are you that makes your blood burn?"

Focht grinned at the shadow.

Focht's right hand begain to glow an eire blue but he didn't move as he waited for the Shadow to wrap around him.
"I'll be fine Crystal...."

Crystal watched in shock as he let the shadow wrap around him. For everyone else this had alwayd ment death.
The Shadow closed Focht off from the rest of the world it seemed. No light or air was getting in for him to use. The Shadow pulled in tight against him so make sure it had a good hold on Focht

As the Shadow stopped tightening, Focht released the energy in his hand begining to freeze the shadow creature. This wasn't his usual attack that covered his opponent, this was actually intended to freeze the shadow itself. He really didn't need to breath to live after what Lady had done so air wasn't really needed.

"I hope you kow what your doing Focht."
The Shado hissed as it tried to coil back from the Focht. Already the SHadow was turning whitish-blue as it was being frozen in place.

The Shado hissed as it tried to coil back from the Focht. Already the SHadow was turning whitish-blue as it was being frozen in place.Focht followed the Shadow's movement keeping his right hand on it. He continued to freeze it. There was a slight smile and a look of pity on his face. "I told you... I am your worst nightmare....... I guess you won't get a chance to learn your lesson."
