9-Lives Crystal frowned as she listened to him. She let out another sighs as she shook her head slowly. she gritted her teeth as she replied to hi. "I wasn't given this bow, I took it. We are running low on weapons and that is why we needed help. But that's ok... If you can't help then I understand. Now I see that my father wasn't the only jack a$$ that came from the Black Company. Keep the bow." She turned and walked over to her bag. She picked it up and threw it over her shoulder as she started for the door. Focht sighed and picked up the bow Crystal had thrown and walks out the door seeing the reason for his question was lost to her. Standing outside of the dojo, he stopped and tossed the bow back at Crystal, who is standing in the open outside of the door. "You have alot to learn about how to be a leader. Come back inside and let me explain or go home without help: your choice." Turning his back to her, he walked back inside and sat back on the chair he had been in.

She jumped as the bow landed infront of her. Crystal quickly turned to facee Focht as he spoke. grabbing the bow she followed him back in, looking rather sheepish. THe girl took a seat on the couch with looking up at him or saying a word.

*He looks a little saddened but then turns to Kai and smiles brightly* I see. Well I hope you don't have any hidden memories now. I know they can be painful...but at least they're the truth. *He sits on the edge of the bed, by her feet, still looking at her* So what now?

I....*it seemed simple in her mind...she should go back to Apollo..it wasn't fair to him that she had just run off..but why couldn't she bring herself to say it* I don't know....

*He places his hand over hers and nods, still smiling a little* Actually that's pretty close to the answer I was expecting and hoping for. Don't rush to anything. Whatever you do..... I'm happy that you're you again....

I was only inquiring to see if arms would be availible to any of those who join us on this trip. So, would you like to continue our conversation or no?" Focht smiled seeing she did have humility but wasn't going to push it.

*kaiori sighs, being a queen would mean she could help a lot of people but did that really make her helping the people here any less important ? she looks up at Than and her hands start to tremble slightly* this might be the selfish part of me talking...but I would much rather stay here...

9-Lives "Yes I would. That is of you don't mind sir." Crystal raised her head up, letting out her breath slowly. "I didn't mean to take things the wrong way." Focht chuckles alittle. "Don't call me sir.... I am just Focht. As for helping you, sure, I will see what forces I can pull together. If worst comes to worse, we retreat and distract a number of their forces so it is alittle easier on your kingdom."

*His hand clutched hers gently when it began to tremble. The whole time he just smiled reassuringly to her* It's not selfish to want to be around people you care about and people who care about you. You know that everyone here would be overjoyed to know you're staying with us... ^^ *His eyes softened a bit* Kaiori-san..... tell me the truth..... do you feel boxed in because so many people want you around?

I think you will need it between now and when we get there." Focht smiled back at her, never intending to try and con the kingdom, just ensure that those who go would have weapons that work against their enemy.

"Methral weapons work th ebest but sence the dwarves left there isn't anyone skilled enough to work the metal. We haven't had any good weapond for a long time now. I took this from my dad before coming here."
