Mitsu clung to Kilik just a bit tighter as Bahamut thrashed slightly. She didn't want to fall off after all. That would just be messy. Once they landed, Mitsu hopped off the dragon, a bit more gracefully than normal. The purple girl flashed Kilik a look, he probably would have helped her off himself had he not been too busy eying Sasha's assets. Granted, he turned away, but still. Like her blonde friend, Sasha made her a bit self conscious as well. She is a model.

Mitsu shook her head, a habit that she'd formed to cast idle and unwanted thoughts away. It was simply the physical manifestation of a mental process. She took a loot around her, they were currently resting in Blackthorn. Maybe I'll come here next, Mitsu thought, it'll be like starting fresh. All new Pokemon and a new adventure. She smiled ruefully, hoping that would be what would actually happen.

"What now?" she asked Mike, looking in his direction.

"We rest." said Mike, his muffled voice coming from inside Nitro's winged embrace. He sounded more tense and annoyed than usual. "That means you, Nitro." he said to his Pokemon. "I'm fine, don't worry about me." The Charizard reluctantly withdrew his wings and after one last look back to make sure his trainer was in one piece, Nitro laid down. "You're still tense." Mike said in a scolding but playful manner. "Re-lax. Nothing is going to happen to me in the ten or so minutes you take a break." The boy smiled at his Pokemon's dedication, and set himself down on the ground beside him, pulling up his hood to shield his eyes from the sun.

------

Sasha shot Keegan a sly look as he took the first drag on his cigarette. "Oh please." she said with a light laugh. "I am seventeen, my family iz fil'sy rich, and z'hey shelter me like I am some sort of sick Pokemon. Of course I smoke." She reached out with her long slender fingers and gently took the cigarette from Keegan's hand, slowly bringing it to her mouth and taking an elegant sip. "Z'hey only let me model because I practically begged z'hem." she said softly, the smoke wafting from her mouth ever so slowly. "Hell, I had to run away from home to become a trainer." She took another drag and exhaled, letting the smoke disappear before she said anything else. "Z'hey would probably k'eel me if z'hey found out what I am doing now. Ils seraient tellement en colère avec moi. Donc, en colère."

Sasha turned when Mike spoke, surprised at his tone. It was less hysterical than it had been the past day, and more...normal? No. Even before Mike had snapped, she had never heard him sound so stressed. "Mon pauvre petit héros." she said to Keegan. "He iz scared to see hi'z amoureux when he gets back home." She forced a smile when she saw Mike cuddle up next to his Pokemon. Even now, he's still so caring. The pink haired girl's lower lip protruded at the boy's pain and quickly took another long sip of her cigarette, finishing it. "Mon Dieu. C'était incroyable." Sasha said after her final exhale. "Merci beaucoup, mon petit monsieur." she added a wink after the pet name and began to walk over to Kasiya. "Oh." she paused, leaning in. "Enjoy the picture." she giggled.

"Hey Kasiya!" Sasha said, attaching to her friend and smiling widely, feeling much better after that smoke.

------

9:46. After a short rest for Nitro, and Mike pretending to, the boy and his dragon sat up. "You good, buddy?" he asked, the Charizard stretching his wings widely, grunting in reply. "Awesome." Mike said, his speech somewhat slurred from fatigue. He jumped onto the Pokemon's back, surprising him. "Let's go home." he said simply.

With an affirming roar, Nitro beat his powerful wings and took to the skies, circled until everyone else caught up, and headed in the direction of Lavaridge Town.

'So that's a Stun Spore,' Jasper mused quietly to himself, remembering the glittering yellow powder the Paras had used against Ditto, and vice versa. The Transform Pokemon was watching intently as well, the yellowy powder attack seeming quite familiar. His gaze shifted to the Beautifly and he imagined what it would be like to drift around with light wings, allowing gentle breezes to carry him from place to place. Those daydreams quickly vanished as the Ponyta's entire body was suddenly ablaze, the flames eating up all the spores before they could cause any harm.

'Whoa,' Jasper thought, able to feel the heat on his face from where he was standing, the flames reflected in his green eyes. 'I've gotta get me a Fire Pokemon, they're so awesome...'

Heading over to the home side of the gym Roark felt a little bad at how he had snapped at the other trainer. He shouldn't be taking out his frustrations at the other boy. He was a gym leader and he should have more pride then to let something like a bad day interfere with his gym hospitality. Sighing the gym leader adjusted his glasses wishing he could run his hand through his hair instead but his hat was in the way. "Ah sorry about snapping earlier, bad day and all." He said as he got situated on his side of the gym. Looking back up at the other boy he gave the other a grin. "I shouldn't let my bad day make me a bad gym leader should I?" Roark didn't wait for long though as the lights snapped on illuminating the gym much better as the scoreboard lit up.

"All right I hope you are ready for this gym battle, I don't give out my badge to just anybody!" Roark said his gym leader voice coming out now instead of his more friendly one he used to apologize to the blonde earlier. "This will be an official gym battle! We will use two pokemon each, no items and no switching! This battle will take as long as it needs to take so no time limit. I hope you are ready because the match starts now." When he finished, this time remembering to list the conditions of his battle unlike this morning when he had been a bit out of it.

Grabbing one of his pokeballs Roark debated for a split second if he should use it or not. His father had sent the fossil to him a few days ago and while the pokemon was strong he had never used it in a gym battle before. Well this was going to be its first and it better be ready. "Lets go Shieldon!" The small fossil pokemon appeared on the ground and pawed the ground eagerly. It was finally his chance to prove how good he was in a gym battle! He was ready for anything!

Joe still couldn't really believe that he had just seen a grown woman naked and his face still hadn't quite recovered from that. Shaken a bit he allowed the girl to lead him around to wherever her master was. She certainly was an odd person, she wasn't mean though, Joe didn't think she had a mean bone in her body now that he was able to look at her without blushing furiously.

"Were here!" Robin said with a grin as she surveyed the much different from this morning back lot she had been training in. It seemed like Luffy and Ampersand had been very busy building an obstacle course for her and her team to get through. It certainly was impressive but she didn't have a lot of time before she felt her Ambipom crash into her. Both of them fell to the ground with laughter as they hugged. "Oh I missed you to Luffy!" Robin laughed as she picked herself up her arms still wrapped around the small Ambipom.

"Well glad you could make it back in time." Came the loud voice of Tony Tony as he greeted his apprentice. "Looks like you brought a friend though." He looked down at the younger boy who had followed her.

"Oh yeah!" Robin grinned as she put Luffy down and faced her Master. "Ah Master he challenged me to a battle but I would not have had the time to battle him and make it back here in time. I asked him if he would follow me and then I could ask you if it would be ok to battle."

"A battle huh? Well you better battle and play to win Robin, your pride as my apprentice and as a pokemon trainer is on the line. It is a rule among trainers that you must accept any challenge that is issued to you as long as your pokemon are in good health. Show me what you have learned on your small trip." Tony said with a grin as he looked down at his energetic student.

"Yes Master!" Robin cried as she grinned over at Joe. "There we go lets get this going. What are the rules?" She asked. It was challengers right to issue the battle conditions.

"All right two pokemon each, no substitutions and um, no items." Joe was a bit taken aback that he was getting this battle after all. Still he took out his first pokeball and held it out.

"Sounds good to me." Robin grinned as she removed Ace's pokeball and held it out as well. She failed to notice that the rest of her team had gathered behind her to watch the battle as well, all she noticed was that Luffy was at her side once more and she was greatful for her friends presence, she had missed him.

Riza's eyes opened wide when she saw Amy recall the energetic little Wooper, and send out Flora in response to the man's Wartortle. "Wait a moment, that's not the same Pokemon as before," Riza mumbled to herself, reasoning that the Chikorita had obviously evolved since the last time they'd spoken. 'Well, this shouldn't take long,' she thought, knowing the grass-type should have an easy advantage over the water-type. She took her pokedex out and scanned the Bayleef, reading over its entry before putting the device away. She also knew that it would be a good idea to understand what she'd be up against if she happened to be paired up against Amy during the contest. Eris watched the battle anxiously, her ears twitching. She wanted nothing more than to run in there and teach that obnoxious turtle a lesson, but she chose to leave that up to Flora. The match ended how Riza had predicted, though she didn't hear the words that Amy had said to the man.

"Hey Amy," she replied, unable to miss the tears in the smaller girl's eyes. She shrugged off the compliment, wondering what had her so upset. "Is everything okay? Did that man say something to you? What happened?" she asked, a little surprised at herself. It wasn't like her to be concerned for others, but she liked Amy, and the thought of someone making her upset was strangely infuriating. "Do I have go go kick someone's a**?" she asked in a kidding tone, hoping to prompt a smile as she took a handkerchief out of her bag and handed it to Amy.

Miles' Sonic Boom sailed through the air and crashed into the Chatot's chest, causing it to abruptly stop singing its soothing melody. "Chatty, use Mirror Move!" Alexandra cried, pointing at the Buizel. "Turn his move back on him!" The Chatot nodded and hopped forward, the music-note shape feather on his head glowing a bit as he flapped his wings, sending a burst of sonic energy right back at Miles.

The Buizel's eyes were wide as saucers as the energy knocked him hard to the ground, and he blinked a few times before he growled and got back to his feet. "Bui!" he called, motioning for the Chatot to bring it on. He loved taking on tough opponents, and on Katie's command, he reared back and fired a Water Gun at the musical bird. Katie figured it wouldn't matter as much if it Mirror Moved the Water Gun, as it wouldn't be very effective against the water-type Buizel. The jet of water sailed through the air and clipped the Chatot's left wing, and it gave an indignant squawk in reply.

Kord, meanwhile, was still snoozing away thanks to being lulled to sleep by the Hoothoot's Hypnosis. He didn't hear Katie's calls for him to wake up, though he seemed a little distressed when the owl Pokemon fluttered over and began to land a flurry of repeated jabs to the side of his head. Whenever the Elekid woke up again, he was going to have one heck of a headache.

Amy blinked, slightly surprised at the girl's immediate concern, but then she felt a surge of gratitude aimed towards the girl. "Thanks," the girl muttered, dabbing at her eyes lightly though only a few tears began to spill. She refused to turn into an absolute mess. "That man... he hurt his Pokemon." That simple sentence didn't seem to do the whole situation justice, but she merely shook her head a little. "And he told me he abused one because it wasn't strong enough and I got so mad..."

Slowly, the girl closed her eyes and grit her teeth, counting to ten inside her head. She wasn't going to freak out on Riza. "...And I battled him and I don't usually like to battle outside of contests..." She felt immediately stupid for saying that out loud, but continued on like a dam collapsing. "And I shouted at him and I hurt his already hurt Pokemon! And I don't think it even made a difference because he'll just think his team needs to be stronger and he'll hurt them some more..." Amy slowly exhaled, her fingers now wringing out the poor handkerchief.

"I'm sorry," the girl said after a moment, staring at her feet rather awkwardly. Her cheeks were a bright red. "I shouldn't have unloaded on you without warning like that."

Laichi's head is sweating up a storm, the way she likes it. Her body is aching. She seems to have noodles to legs. She finally crawls into the city of North Petalburg and slumps behind a small wall where the shade is darkest.

Zii is seen leaning beside the entrance just watching her crawl into existence. Obviously, Zii won their race to the city.

"Zii, what happened? Did you get faster or something after that battle? I had a ten minute lag behind you! I've never been that late before! You're on poke-steroids aren't you!? I think you're fat bidoof furry white butt is hanging around those hitmonchans in the street fights again. Cheater!"

Zii just grins, as he soaks up the victory of a two hour running race.

"So, where are we now? Wha..wha this place Zii? North Petalburg eh? Okay, I need sustenance!"

As Laichi begins to stand Zii lifts a finger saying 'no'.

"Awww come on, Zii! I'm hungry!" Laichi whimpers, as she does not wish to pay the prize.

Zii crosses his arms and laughs. He shoots Laichi a glance, which screams 'do it now or I will force you.'

"Fine! Have it your way muck for brains!" Laichi screams while kicking her shoes at Zii.

"Are you happy? I'll walk like you now! Now, food yes?"

Zii smiles and packs up Laichi's running shoes. He loves it when she is forced to walk bare footed. It gives Laichi an idea of how he feels on the cold concrete.

Laichi smiles as Zii helps her up and she walks about ten feet then collapses...

"Star, avoid those rings! They'll put you to sleep!" Star took a creative approach, throwing lots of mud into the air to dissipate the rings. Though the mud didn't touch the Gastly, it prevented many of the rings from reaching Star. She started to wobble, but she quickly shook of the sleep.

Sam heard the note of remembrance in Miharu's voice as she said Scarlet's name. Sam glanced sideways, eyebrow raised. Did Miharu know the kid? Sam watched as the Beautifly's Stun Spore was deftly avoided and countered with a nice flame wheel. Sam waited to see how that turned out. Star watched the Gastly, waiting for it's next move. Just in case, she had a jet of water building in her mouth, just waiting for provocation.

"Better stay out of the way of that!" Jett called with a helpful tone from Scarlet's side, watching Aerosmith race against the Ponyta. The flames barely licked at his wings and he definitely felt the heat. I wonder what he'll do next...

"Fly," Aerosmith panted, only to turn right back around and fix that fire horse his meanest glare. He remained steady, his half-lidded blue eyes daring the Ponyta to make a move. "Beautifly!" I'm not afraid of the likes of you! Bring it on!

Jett smiled with an obvious fondness for his Beautifly. It was kind of stunning; he wouldn't get scared, but only madder than before! If I set him up with the right moves and have him grow stronger... he'll certainly be a fearsome battler, Jett thought idly, allowing Miharu to have the next move. However, it seemed that the girl was too busy familiarizing herself with his battle partner, and the words tumbled from his lips in a surprised and confused tone before he could stop. "You two know each other?"

beep beep beep

Laichi opens her eyes to a white ceiling, and the smell of anti-bacterial cleaners. This must be a hospital.

"...wha...what...what happened?"

When saying this, her head begins to get dizzy. Her eyes close to relax the feeling.

A voice is heard in her blind spot to her right, "Your Zangoose brought you in. I'm Nurse Amu. This is the North Petalburg Children Hospital. Please relax, you just went through hypoglycemia. You're blood sugar was very low. We have to return your molar concentration to the standard variable."

Laichi turns her head to look at Nurse Amu. Nurse Amu glances at Laichi for a moment then makes a check on her paper.

"Patient is still pale, but your blood's mole count is actively progressing higher. This is good. You should be fine with a good meal and some relaxation."

"Hah, relaxation? You must not know who I am." Laichi mumbles while looking at Zii sleeping at the end of the bed on the floor.

"Actually, you are Laichi Ningyo. You had a previous engagement while you were ten years of age for dehydration. It is noted you work out way too much... Why were you lifting weights at ten years of age?"

Laichi's mind is going around what she is asking, her head is still foggy, "I saw the larger kids doing it."

The nurse scribbles some more notes down and leaves the room; until Laichi interrupts her.

"Hey Nurse Amy! If you want patients to know what you are talking about you have to dumb it down a bit. Because, I have no idea of what you were talking about when I woke up. But, I can assume it's bad."

"...in the long run, knowing that it is bad, is all you need to know. The names Amu, for the second time."

Laichi lays back and digests everything that just happened. Zii is still asleep at her foot.

"It's been a long day, eh buddy?"

Laichi continues to listen to the beeps of the heart monitor when something clicks in her mind.

"That lady was rude! I'm so peeing in my pee bowl!"

Teriox

PostPosted: Mon Nov 08, 2010 9:08 pm

“Alright, we’re totally good, Terumi! Try another hyp- Wha?” Scarlet’s previously unshakable focus shattered like really cheap glass with the mere mention of his name. “Waaaaait… Miharu?” He started remembering little things, like a badass Scyther painting and a floating psychic metal death claw. “… How the hell did I forget about a floating psychic metal death cl- I mean, Hi!”

While his trainer spoke, Terumi felt something inside him that told him he could seriously hurt that giant frog-fish, and frankly, that thrilled him so much that he began a maniacal laugh. As he did so, he rose into the air, a spectral nail materializing in the air above him. And he just knew that Curse would be one of his favorite moves.

In the meantime, Cindy, like Jasper and his Ditto, was spectating, glad that Aerosmith, for the most part, managed to avoid that super awesome flaming tackle that she totally hoped she’d learn soon.

Scarlet blinked from Miharu to the Ponyta she was using. “… Woah. You’re doing pretty well for yourself out there, huh?” Immediately afterward, he nodded to Jett. “Yeah. We’re both from-”

His attention was redirected to his battled when he heard Terumi scream. The Ghost pokemon was cackling as a massive nail was being slammed into his body by an invisible force. And if he managed to finish the almost cartoonishly long ritual that sure didn’t look all that cartoonish, the sacrifice of half his energy would ensure that a rather painful affliction would befall Star.

“… What kinda move was… … What?”

Sirrus looked up past Kasiya when Bahamut neared him, his antennae twitching slightly. Like the female, he had never seen another Flygon before, and he was intrigued by the site of her. He flipped back up onto his feet and stretched, now noting the slightly irritated look on Kasiya's face. He cooed and gently patted her head with a clawed hand, still unsure of how he'd come to be within the younger girl's possession. Kasiya smiled at the dragon, and ran her hands along his scaly neck as he flopped back down on the ground, closing his eyes to rest.

Kasiya glanced back over her shoulder at Sasha and Keegan, watching somewhat uneasily as they shared a cigarette. She frowned a bit, and looked back to the Flygon by her feet. She knew she shouldn't be jealous, especially at a time like this, but she just couldn't help it. She sighed and sat down on the ground beside the Flygon, watching him while he rested. She couldn't help but wonder how the creature could remain so good-natured while having someone like Mai as his trainer. Then again, it occurred to her that she hadn't really seen much of Mai's other Pokemon, other than her Flygon and Espeon. She shivered lightly as she thought of the Psychic-type Eeveelution, as she recalled quite painfully taking its Psybeam to her chest. The blast had sent her crashing through the window of Giovanni's office and into the lab below - resulting in a sprained ankle and a painful reminder of why one should never try to sneak into the Rocket HQ alone.

Kasiya looked over at Nitro as he'd stood up and started to stretch, signaling that he was ready to resume their flight. "Alright Sirrus, let's get going," she told the dragon as Sasha had returned to her side. Kasiya wrinkled her nose a bit from the smoky smell but decided not to mention it. "Let's go," she said, climbing up onto the Flygon's back. When both girls were seated securely, Sirrus shot off into the sky like a comet, letting out sharp, excited screeches as he followed after the mighty Charizard.

Jake grinned at Roark's apology. "It's all right, those kind of days happen," he replied with a shrug, as he'd been experiencing one himself. Hanging out with Robin had definitely made it better, though he still had a nagging feeling in the back of his mind that he should be doing more to recover his lost memories. He listened carefully as Roark explained the rules, nodding to show he understood. Thank goodness it's only two Pokemon, he thought, as he didn't know what he would have done had Roark said three or four.

The first Pokemon to appear was a strange little creature, and Jake recalled seeing it in his PokeDex earlier. "Shieldon," he muttered, double checking his PokeDex. It was a dual Rock and Steel-type, meaning Turtwig's Grass-type attacks wouldn't be as effective. "Okay, we'll go with Bibarel then," he said finally, releasing the Beaver Pokemon with a fluid motion of his arm. Bibarel smacked her tail against the rocky ground and looked around, her gaze falling on the Shieldon in front of her. Instantly she realized this was an important battle and she got down on all fours, taking up a battle stance. "Okay, let's start off easy. Defense Curl," Jake said, and Bibarel complied, tucking her arms and legs in to give herself a much-needed boost in defense, her Simple ability making it even more effective than usual.

Flannery sighed a bit in relief, as she always felt better when battling with Torkoal (though he was the son of her elder and much stronger Torkoal) as he was pretty good at stalling for time. She called for him to use another Iron Defense as she tried to think of something she could do to best the brute of a Pokemon she was currently up against. And Robbie still has one fully healthy Pokemon in reserve, she thought bitterly, her lower lip trembling a bit. She'd never been good at keeping herself together when backed into a corner, but she tried to shake it off, even as she heard Robbie yell for Hariyama to use a Force Palm. Torkoal was still thoroughly hidden within his smoky veil, however, and he didn't even have to move for the attack to miss.

"Smokescreen again," Flannery shouted. "Don't let up on it!" Torkoal gave an affirmative nod so as not to give away his position with sound, and the coals set in his shell began to smolder, making the haze seem even thicker than before. It was a wall of whitish/grey smoke, so thick that Flannery couldn't see the battlefield at all. "Perfect," she whispered to herself.

Roark was glad that the trainer didn't take offense to his bad behavior earlier, some people these days were just to sensitive. He almost laughed though when he saw that the boy sent out a Bibarel, that was until he remembered they were part water type and this one probably knew a water type move. Still the beaver pokemon was funny to look at and Roark was just glad he had more manors then to just laugh out right. "Shieldon use Stealth Rock and then get into a defensive position." Roark ordered his own pokemon.

The small Shield pokemon nodded and standing up on both hind legs he smashed his feet down onto the ground causing a small rumble, the rocks around began to shake a little before lifting up into the air and started to just float around. Seeing that his move had worked Shieldon took note of where the rocks were before setting himself in an easily defensible stance. The fossil pokemon wasn't the fastest pokemon ever but if he didn't have to move to much he could at least turn his head to block whatever attack the Beaver pokemon threw at him.

~~~~~~
"All right Ace lets go!"
"Come on out Sparks!"
They both released there pokemon out onto the field. Robin's side held the relaxed looking Monferno who was getting a little tired from all these battles today, on Joes side a strong looking Luxio appeared who looked like he was ready for anything. Of course Robin had no idea what a Luxio was, she quickly looked it up in her pokedex, she was getting better at remembering to do that.
"So Luxio verses Monferno. Let's have this be a good clean pokemon battle." Tony said from the sidelines having taken up the role of referee for now.
"Let's do this Ace! Show them your Mach Punch!"
"Sparky lets use your Spark! Fry them where they stand!"
The two pokemon listened to their trainers commands and everyone watched as Ace took off. The Monferno speed across the field raising his fist only when he was close enough to land a blow. Just as the Monferno's fist connected with the Luxio though the Spark pokemon let loose a blast of electricity that flowed through the Monfernos arm. Both of the pokemon were sent flying back.
It wasn't often that Robin met someone who had as much enthusiasm in battle as she did but it seemed like Joe did, she hoped that he could keep up with her. She smiled as she saw Ace land on his feet, he was smoking a little from either the attack or from his own fire. There was a determined look on his face as he growled slightly at the Luxio who seemed to be shaking off the others attack.
"Great job Ace let's hit them with an Ember!"
"Good work Sparky charge them with your Bite now!"
This time it was the Luxio who came at the Monferno who waited patiently for the other pokemon. The electric pokemon charged forward his sharp teeth bared and ready to take out a chunk of its opponent. Ace was ready though and seemingly at the last moment flipped up onto his hand whipping his flaming tail at the ground creating his almost signature by now wall of flame before doing a hand spring to escape. When they both exchange ended each on the others side of the field neither pokemon was very hurt, Ace had avoided the attack all together while the Luxio had barely felt the mostly defensive Ember attack.
Sunfire was still moving and before he knew it, the Pikachu was also using Quick Attack and was fast approaching. The Flareon decided he might as well collide, and adjusted his angle toward the Pikachu. In a moment the two Pokemon crashed into one another and were quickly scrambling back to their feet, exchanging determined grins. Sunfire knew that this Pikachu wouldn’t go down without a fight and although he had a size advantage, the Flame Pokemon felt that touching the yellow rodent would be a bad idea as in their previous scuffle he had definitely felt some remaining static.
“Okay, Sunfire, good opening round.” Mag replied. “Now, let’s try hitting it with Ember.” He ordered as the Flareon began to release the orange flames from his mouth.
As Peine exited the station, he entered the street-light lighten city of Goldenrod. The city was huge, making Saffron look like Chrono Island in comparison. Peine decided that instead of staying at the Pokemon Center for the night, the smartest idea was to travel to Violet and quickly travel to Newbark Town. Though Peine was quickly was distracted by a huge tower that was right next to the train station. ‘A quick look won’t be so bad, would it?’ He thought to himself. Peine walked to the tower, and into its doors.
Inside the tower there was a front desk with a woman sitting at it, a couple people sitting on chairs, and a set of chairs. ‘Maybe the woman could tell me where I’m at.’ “Excuse me miss, I’m new to Goldenrod. Could you tell me where I’m at right now?”
“You’re at the Goldenrod Radio Tower. It’s one of our many landmarks, along with the Department Store that is located in the city. I’m Felicity by the way.”
“Peine Mononoke and thank you for telling me where I’m at,” Peine said as he gave his hat a tip. ‘Wow, I’ve been seeing a lot of cute girls today, am I lucky or what??’
“Do you have a Pokemon Mr. Mononoke?” Felicity asked, leaning over the counter.
“Ya, I do!” Peine said as he sent out Sel. “This is Sel, my Sneasel and my best friend!” Peine said.
Sel rolled her eyes, seeing what Peine was doing. He wasn’t used to having so many women in a single day, seeing that he was usually holed up in his attic with a book. So when he was around one, Sel usually came out because for some reason women loved trainers.
“How about you give me your trainer card for a second and I’ll see if you have today’s lucky number. If you do, you’ll get a treat!” Felicity said. Peine took his trainer card out of his wallet and handed it to the woman. Felicity then scanned the card and frowned. “Sorry, but none of your number match. Will you be here tomorrow?”
“Probably not, I’m leaving for Violet City right now actually. It was nice to meet you Felicity,” Peine said as he took back his trainer card and motioned Sel to follow as the two left the tower and headed to the northern gate of Goldenrod so he could exit the City and continue his journey.
