"YIKES. " Yuffie leaped foward,Keeping herself a safe distance from the beastly thing.Though by the looks of it, it wasn't going to attack her.But,her shock only grew more as it spoke!
"Whoa...you TALK? Heyyyyyyyyy! Your not part of ...no..Of course not. My beast friend named Nanaki can talk too..But.." She shrugged, a small playfull grin crossing the girls features as she inched closer,as if to get a better look. It sure did have a aditude.
"And I didn't mean to sneak up on you. I didn't even know you were here!" Crossing her arms, she stood, looking serious. "Im Yuffie Kisaragi, Of course! Ninja of Wutai, theif and Princess." She smirked.
"Okay, WHO are you, then? Huh! Huh?!"
Yuffies atention was soon deverted away from the beast, toward the man whom just came out of the church. Who was he? Oh, the questions of Who's where everywhere today! "...Marth? Um...Nice to meet you? "
The young ninja turned to glance at her watch. Oops. She was late for something.. "oh, man..Heh,heh,heh...Sorry to drop by and leave, but I need to take off.Maybe we'll run into eatch other again. " She grinned, Patting the beast on the head in spite, before bolting off as fast as she could.

(oh noes crying dont leave meeee!!!) He blinked and looked at the beast, then to the speeding Yuffie, and back to he beast. "....This place is so weird..."

Reno didn't seem to hear her, lost as he was in thought....he missed those days..."When things were so simple yo....when you guys were off saving the planet...Sephiroth was hell bent on killing us all....Jenova was runnin' round on the loose...and Tseng, Me, Rude and 'lena were all just a bunch of over-worked, under-paid special ops troops with a fancy suit and a dumb title...it wasn't glamorous, it wasn't pretty, but it was simple yo." He sighs, bowing his head and shaking it lightly. " Man...."
By this time Coyote was back up..inspecting his jail cell. " Hmm...lessee....execution..or life in prison for trying to kill a damn Cetra....orrrr...escape..and try to make up for it...." He laughed, muttering something in Al Bhed, then turning to the small window...hmmm..." He looked it over, then, looking for the guard, pulled a few seemingly useless objects from his pouch...a tiny battery...a couple of bits of wire and such....his pocketwatch, and a lump of what looked like clay...then while he hummed the old tune "Jailhouse Rock" He stuck the lump of clay inside the lunchbox sized window, then stuck the wires in it...sticking the pocketwatch to it, securing the wires as he stretched them as far as possible, ducked, and touched the wires to the battery......and with a loud grumbling roar.....blew the door right off it's hinges....knocking the poor guard clean out, because he happened to be walking by. "Jailll-breeeaakk! Hah...poor b*****d..." He grinned, ducking under the other guard's clumsy electro-mag-rod swing, and with a quick tackle, took the weapon away, running to the lockers, he grabbed his guns and belts quickly, as well as one of the ShinRa-made machineguns, and ran out the jail door...as the alarm went off, probably waking up the entirity of Midgar.
Seifer had made it to Wutai, having heard rumors of a strange blind swordsman of great skill....thinking it could possibly be his good old friend Fujin....once he made it to the top of Da Chao...found the young man sitting there he sighed. " Damn..thought it was..." He jumped back as the man stood, turning toward him and drawing his sword.
" I dont know who you are....but leave...before I cut you down!" Cody shouted as he jumped in, his sword clashing against the Sorceress' Knight's in anger, he sensed this man's aura....he wasn't exactly the best person...his glowing green Neo-Ultima WEAPON clashing against the gunblade, sparks flying everywhere...the people of Wutai watching the flashes in the darkness.
Duo sat in Tifa's new bar...the one she'd left when she went travelling....he'd reopened the place, hired a couple of cute waitresses, and kept it earning money....when he wasn't out stopping Natsumi's mischeif...or empowering a warrior to kill a WEAPON or something...he enjoyed the simple job of bartending...and he'd made the place a hit...raking in the cash with a little persuasive advertizing on his part...considering the girls all dressed up like the famous lady warriors of the land...Aerith, Tifa, and Yuffie....and the drunks usually couldn't tell the difference...and the ones that could, didn't care....and considering how much he'd made...Tifa probably wouldn't care either.
Vincent was on his way toward Midgar now....as everyone seemed to be converging there...something was going to happen..something bad...and he didn't want to be out of the picture if his friends needed help!

That bright smile of hers seemed to slowly fade as Reno spoke his words, her expression slowly altering as she kept her eyes locked onto his face. She let his words sink into her mind, bowing her own head at the thoughts that soon came afterwards. He was right, things -did- used to be so simple back then. Things were so easy...so basic. She would get up in the mornings, take care of Marlene, go out and try to stop Sephiroth with Avalanche, come home, and go to sleep. Everyday, the same old thing. Same place, different day... Quite frankly, she missed it. And apparantly, Reno did too.
Despite, what's happened has happened. She can't change it, and neither can he or anyone else. They have to live with it. Her eyes then traveled upwards again, her body leaning over to try and get a glance at Reno's face. "Hey hey, come on... Don't feel so down, Reno..," she managed to crack a weak smile, "Things back then may have been easy, but you didnt expect life to be like that forever, did you?" She placed a hand on his back, trying her best to offer him comfort as she continued, "I know you miss how things used to be, I do too.. But we can't get that back. And maybe things are lookin' pretty bad right now, but that's just how life goes. You just gotta keep on walking with your head high, and try to make the best of it." ...Wow, that was good advice. Perhaps she should take her own advice sometimes. "Besides, I'll be here whenever you need me, too. So you have nothing to worry about.. Chin up, okay?"

Slowly rising to his feet, Korangar lowered his arms to his sides, slowly clenching them into fists before finally opening his eyes and looking around. Relaxing his hands, he headed through the slums, his path leading him back to the group's mansion.

Outside, on the steps of the mansion a young women sat there.Short blonde hair,dark brown eyes.The only thing diferet was her use of cloths. No Turk uniform.Instead she wore a black suit,instead of the navy blue she would always wear.Elena was such a tomboy, She'd never wear anything but a suit or pants and long shirts.
She didn't quite know what to do at the moment, Truely, there -was- nothing to do.She never knew where anyone else was, and since she quit the turks, well, her life had been extreamly boring.So she spends most her time here at the mansion.Waiting around,for pretty much nothing.She was probably comeing off as the bad person,in Reno's eyes. For quitting the turks.Elena had her reasons for quitting,but no one would understand those reasons and she wasn't going to explane them ether.

Looking ahead, Korangar's flaming eyes spotted Elena a few moments before he rounded the final turn in the path that led to the mansion. Brushing his silver bangs out of his face, he cracked his neck by quickly jerking his head to one side, then shook himself off before actually moving around the corner. Lifting a hand a little, he waved to her as he approached. "Hello, again. Been a while, hasn't it?"

Glanceing up from the ground in which she seemed to be stareing at, her deep brown eyes rested upon Korangar.A small smile forming at the young womens features as she lifted a hand,waveing in return.
"Korangar! Hey..Yes, It really has! How have you been? Is everything alright?"

Pausing for a moment, he glanced around the area, wondering why she might think that things could not be alright. Finally, seeing nothing, he turned to her once more, then shrugged. "Things have been fine for me. I met this white-haired man and we played a game of some sort, then I saw this devil that was bothering a white-haired girl...told her to leave her work at home, then a demon, claiming to be her brother, came and led her away, then the white-haired girl left, and I got bored, so I came back here. How have things been for you....errr..." He frowned, then closed his eyes, tilting his head to one side, running through a list of names he had heard before, trying to pick out which one was hers. After several moments, he finally opened his eyes again, looking to her. "...umm........Elena?"

"A white haired man,huh..Let's see! Must of been Sephiroth. But...You and him were playing a game? Doesn't sound like something Sephiroth would do. Do you mean maybe..A duel? You know! Sword fighting, things like that." She shrugged as and laughed a little. "Sounds like you've been very busy. White haired girl, Im almost sure that was Sephriea, as for the demons? I have not seen..anyone with such a discription as that yet. Strange.."
Elena leaned back at the stares she was seated on, Off to the side so not to block any others from going in or out. "As for me. I guess things are okay now. I quit my job, And I think Reno isn't to happy about it. I probably hurt him in doing so, but I have my reasons." She gave off a small shrug and nodded to his last words. "Yeah. You rememberd! "

He grinned at her approval, then nodded, looking around again. "Yes...there was a bit of swordplay in the game...that was mostly what it was, come to think of it." Noting her words about her current employment situation, he frowned, tilting his head to one side, looking to her once more. "If you have your reasons, then that is your business. I see no reason why the opinion of someone else ought to stand in your way, if you have enough reason to do something."

Smirking, she just shook her head a little. "I guess you must be Sephiroths new best friend. To servive him, and him to servive you, Is amazeing! At least now he has someone of challenge, other then Cloud..I feel sorry for Sephiroth, though! He really doesn't get enough challenges these days."
She paused for a moment, listening to his next comment. He was right. That was exactly how she felt about it. Even though, Elena and Reno,well basicly the turks had a strong bond."I feel the same way, but..Us Turks, well..We did have a strong friendship, we were the best of partners. And I guess that might be the reason hes upset about it." Though there were parts she didn't understand herself. Reno was getting worked up about it, for no reason. The Turks weren't as they used to be,even before she had quit. She never knew a thing as to what was going on, always left in the dark,and hald the time she never knew where Reno or Tseng, and Rude were.So really. What was the problem here? She was better off quitting.

Shaking his head, Korangar moved to the doorway and sat on the stairs, on the opposite side of the door from Elena. "We agreed before the game that we wouldn't kill each other. Otherwise, well..." He coughed for a moment, glancing up toward the underside of the plate. "..he wouldn't be around. He has a vast amount of skill, you can be sure, but.. Not enough. I don't doubt, though, that he could take on anyone else on this planet without much trouble." Having finished saying this, he looked to her again. "If you and they were as good of friends as you say, then they should understand why you might want to quit, and even then still be your friends, right?"

"Really? I wonder how he feels about it! So basiclly, You won?" She motioned her hands into a cheering motion, grinning slightly.Poor Sephiroth,loseing to someone he didn't even know. That must not settle well with him.
"Sephiroth has great power, and streghth. But after I've seen how you fight, well..I can see why you won the duel.While most people would run screaming at just seeing him, You went up against him, and won! "
She glanced back toward the door,picking up her glass of iced tea she had placed at the step beside her and takeing a small sip,before answering. "Yeah. I hope so.I guess we'll see,If I ever see them again.."
As for now, she wanted to change the subject.She didn't want to get herself all worked up about the situation,ether. Elena was always the strong one, most the time. Or at least she tryed to be. "But..Anyway! Do you want some tea? Umm..Iced Tea? Or would that not go well with you?"
