Shaydra nodded. "We don't want to cause too much trouble," she said, "And we must hurry. My clan was strong, but they were still captured by whatever thing that came after the hydra. We might get captured, too, if we hang around too long."

Lex nodded and looked at Shaydra. Right now, she was the leader, she knew where they were going.

Lex snickerd at Zinc and said, "Well, hopefully they won't come back, but if they do, I guess you can eat one. Where to now Shaydra?"

Shaydra snorted loudly. "When that hydra comes back, it's not going to get eaten. The hydra that met my clan brought back many mages and slave drivers to round my clan up. I don't know about you, but I'd rather not die as a slave." She slipped into the crevice and was out of view.
She walked along the narrow space between the cliffs, glad to be hidden. These cliffs felt so open to her. She looked behind to see if anyone would be following.

"I was already a slave..." Lex mumbled. She limped slowly after Shaydra, looking back also. Her shoulder was healing, she could tell, but it still hurt to move it. 'I have to walk on it, there is no other way to move...' She thought to herself.

Shaydra looked back at Lex. "Does it hurt too much?" she asked. "Here, it's lucky that I didn't lose these." She tossed Lex a few healing crystals.

Lex let th crystals fall to the ground an she shook her head, "I would much rather heal on my own, thank you." She continued to walk and caught up to Shaydra, "So, are we going to your clan?"

Shaydra shrugged in a human-like gesture. "I'm not sure where my clan is. They may be within these cliffs, but I am not sure. You could of at least caught the crystals; they are hard to find and expensive to buy or make." She chuckled. "It's all right, maybe we could fetch them later."

Lex nodded again and looked behind to Zinc, "Hey, would you please pick those up for me please?" Turning back to Shaydra she asked, "So, we are just going to wing it? We have no idea where we are going?"

Shaydra shook her head. "That would be just foolish. No, there's a certain cave, large enough for several dragons to fit in comfortably; you could say it would be an underground church. It is hidden from above and the sides. You would have to crawl in there, since it is underneath an unstable-looking rock. The rock actually is quite stable."

Lex looked back at Zinc and nodded her head in thanks. She turned again to Shaydra who was slipping quietly under a rock ledge. Lex morphed back into a human and followe Shaydra, making sure not to use her shoulder. When she slipped under the rock, she stepped into a huge rock room. The rock ceiling was high and it was spaceious. "Wow.." Lex breathed.
