Well, there is no such thing as too much of a good thing, but for the sake of the post: You know you play too much FFVII when...

-You have sworn on someone's grave that you WILL learn how to NOT suck at shaping Wonderflex just so you can make Vincent's accessories accurately (guilty)
-You are growing out your hair to cosplay Sephiroth within the next five years, and are even willing to frost "down south" to do it "au naturale" (coughmysister'sfianceecough)
-You have downloaded the pattern for the ShinRa army uniform to cosplay Private Cloud Strife because you want to find a Sephy cosplayer and act out the forbidden love often mentioned in fanfics that supposedly occurred before the Nibenheim thing (guilty)
-You call your hometown Nibenheim (guilty)
-You have real metal shoulderpads for cosplaying Sephy (I know someone who has them, it's just a matter of time before I get the pleather to make the coat...)
-You sew marbles into your clothing (guilty)
-You saw the breaking of both of your legs as a good thing, because now all you need is a white blanket (Not guilty, but I wanna get a wheelchair just for that)
-You have actually gone to a ranch and fought somebody with a cattle prod
-You believe that Riku (KH2) is the long-lost lovechild of Sephiroth and Cloud (And I have a story to back it up... XD)
-You plan to cosplay Sephiroth (With Masamune, mind you) to the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire next year (It shall be done.. trying to get my hubby to cosplay Vincent too XD)
-You have spent a while to type this, and wonder if you have carpal tunnel syndrome (guilty)
-You are as much of a FFVII geek as I am. XD

I did that once... Three ninjas (from Naruto, with Sasuke and the "Random Ninja", myself being Sakura) walking around in a straight line reminiscient of FFVIII, running into Sephy right outside the karaoke room. The random ninja pulls out his cell phone and starts to play One Winged Angel, we fight Sephy with my brother making the "kaching" sounds for the time gauges... Eventually Sephy kills me, someone screams from the crowd "They killed your White Mage, you're screwed!" and the other two die...

We found a guy cosplaying a Save Point (oh the wonders of cardboard boxes), reloaded our game, and went back to fight him again. And died. I was just happy to fight Sephy. ^_^

And so this post isn't totally worthless, you know you play too much FFVII when...

-You have made that ridiculously huge shuriken (guilty, cardboard and tin foil)
-The only reason you started listening to Gackt was because REDEMPTION was in DOC (Not me, but there's probably some of them)
-You actually know the words to (and have sung at a photoshoot) the Final Fantasy Chocobo Tribute (guilty)
-You argue over the canon-ocity of the "scaled-down" Masamune and Buster Sword with the swordmaster at the Renaissance Faire (guilty)
-You guilt trip said Swordmaster into letting you hold the Buster Sword (guilty)
-You cried when you saw AC because Rude was supposed to be black (No racial hurt here, guys, but Rude was originally supposed to be black)
-You think the real reason Rufus wears that stupid baby blanket on his head is because Reno pranked him by giving him londe hair dye instead of his normal orange (Never let Reno do the shopping...)
-You or someone you know is in the process of making the Mako Bike and WILL get it street legal so he can ride it to the cons he goes to (Goddess bless you, Rude of ShinraCon!)
-You are a hardcore SephCloud yaoi freak (guilty, please don't hurt me!)
-When you complete a battle against a bully or pass a test, you wonder if you've leveled up yet
-You shout random numbers of damage when you attack someone
-You refuse to do any other skit at a con besides a FFVII one (guilty... anyone live near southeast Pennsylvania? We need members by the last weekend of October... >.<)
-You name Coud "Sephiroth" at the start of the game just so it ends up being "Sephiroth vs Sephiroth" in the final battle
-You hack the PC version to make the Cloud sprite a Sephiroth one, and make Reno take over the world (I wanna do that, if I ever get a copy of it XD)

you know your friend plays too much ff7 when he has a 1:1 scale model of clouds buster sword, made from metal

You know when youve played too much FF when you build yourself n airship and change your name to Cid.

you know you've played too much ff7

-when a random ringtone in your cellphone reminds you of the tune when walking around in towns

you know you've played too much ff7

-when you call yourself an ultima blade.

You know when you've played too much ff7 when-
you actually PRAY for the remake to come out. rolleyes

You know you've played too much FF7 when:
When you see a chicken and you try to ride it
You use a rod or gloves as a weapon
