Kaleb squeaked a bit and went rigid as Timex dropped, and he had to take a couple deep breaths before ungracefully scrambling off. He staggered a bit since his legs felt all weak and shaky, but he didn't fall over, and he was able to turn around and smile back at the two. "I-I th-think this is close enough, I-I'm sorry to make you come out here..."

Timex whinnied softly [I'm sorry... I'll be more careful next time.] His large blue eyes filled with regret & remorse that he might have made things difficult on one of his passengers. Relm patted the large ninau's white neck reassuringly, whispering that it was all right as she easily dismounted.
"Nothing to it, Scholar. That's what friends are for, aren't they? 'sides... we'll gallop back -be home in no time." The ninau neighed happily in what could clearly be interpreted as a resounding [Huzzah!!]
Relm moved to give the healer an almost sisterly hug & to ruffle his hair. "Take care, okay Scholar? Call to visit anytime you like."

Kaleb blushed a bit at the affectionate gestures and smiled back at Relm. "I-I will, thank you again for the ride." He glanced over to include the Ninau in his thanks. He really was grateful for the lift. "Goodnight," he said to both of them, before opening up a glowing portal that would take him home.

Watching the glowing portal as she waved, Relm smiled. She did a lot more smiling now than she used to. It was not until Kaleb had stepped through the portal that she turned & remounted the ninau for the ride home.
Timex stood slowly though he was eager to race home. Relm was glad for that, because her devious mind was still thinking of the healer's departure. She had suspected he would not ask for their number... but he would have it. In fact, he might not know it but he already did.
The pictomancer nudged Timex lightly with her heal to indicate that she was ready to go & hunkered down against his great warm neck with her fingers clutching deep in his blue mane. He whinnied with delight before taking off.
Relm only wished she could see Kaleb's face when he next opened either bag or book to find their number clearly inside where it had not been before.
