Skiaska sighed in triumph that she hadn't tripped or anything with all the bags. Nudging open Lydia's door, she dropped the bags and looked for someplace to put them. She saw a few chests, but they were probably half full. "Lydia, wait here just a moment." Going to her room, she picked up the small closet she hadn't been using and carried it on her back. "Thought this would be heavier. Anyway, Lydia, do you think this would suit you?"

"Yes, that would be fine. Thank you. I must repay you somehow. You are being so generous to me." She said, neatly laying some of her new baught clothes in her chest of drawers, though she only used the top two drawers even though it had four.

Skiaska shook her head. "No, it's fine really. I'm getting to know you, and having a great deal of fun. No payment necessary." Putting some of the clothes away in the closet drawers, she smiled to herself. After hanging up the skirts in the top part of the closet, she turned to Lydia. "If you don't mind Lydia, I must be going to Hunter's. Sethe will be dancing. I'll come down later to see you." With a quick hug, Skiaska ran through a few rooms and jumped a few rings of the ladder into Hunter's.

Not only was she surprised by her adament refusal to accept payment, Lydia was also surprised by the hug. Reaching into one of the bags, she pulled out the feather earrings. She had had her ears pierced for as long as she could remember, and put on the earrings. She also quickly changed into the black satin corest and the pants with the pink corset lacing on the pockets. She also put on the black high heels with ribbons and as a final touch, she put on the purple butterfly necklace and the fishnet gloves. She made sure to pull off all the tags though, and then went after Skiaska, wanting to know what Skiaska had meant by Sethe dancing.

Will stepped into Haven and pulled one of the guards aside. "Go to high alert. Inform the lower level security station as well. I want Haven on high alert for the next eight hours, and if one of the security systems so much as beeps unusually, go to full alert immediately. Just call it a gut instinct. Be on your guard."
The guard nodded and moved to carry out his orders. Meanwhile Will was almost sprinting for his room. He didn't know what it was, but his gut was telling him that something was on it's way... something bad. He'd feel a lot more secure once he reached his room and the Hellbringer Axe was in his hands.

Will had just reached his office when he got the call from Kingston. Something about suspicous activity in the sewers. Seconds later the man was screaming that they were under attack, and alarms started blaring everywhere. Grabbing his axe, Will flipped on the public announcement system. "All Hunters present in Haven, attention! We are under attack! Proceed to the lower level immediately and prepare to repel attackers! I repeat, we are under attack!"
He turned off the PA, then picked up the phone to Hunter's. "HUNTER! This is William! We're under attack! Get everybody down here! NOW!"
Then he hung up, grabbed his shotgun, and ran to meet the enemy head on.

Bridget went thru the screening/security process to be let in... she had heard of the place but until now never really needed to use it. She asked for directions for the infirmary and was given them. As she looked around she was impressed how it was set up as she continued. When she went into the infirmary she was met by a nurse/medic(she wasn't sure) but was told to strip down and put on this gown. Bridget did as she was told and now that the adrenalin rush was over she was feeling very/very sore. The doctor came in and assessed Bridget and had the surgical set up opened because the bullet was still in her lower leg. With some anesthetic he removed the bullet and bandaged up the leg.... next he checked all her bruises and had x-rays done just to be sure; no bones were broken.. The doctor gave her something to help relax her and let he sleep and had the nurse/medic watch her for the night.

Bridget slept through-out the nite but her dreams were that of a 10 year old girl and the monster that killed her family. Of those two days she spent terrified in that crawl space. She mumbled something in her sleep and woke up with a start half way thru the nite...then slowly went to sleep again.
Bridget woke up with this rise and shine ....nurse/medic with a happy attitude. To Bridget's mind nobody deserved to be that happy and then she moved. Every little bruise on her body hurt like hell and her leg wound was throbbing; in that second she knew she was alive ...being dead couldn't hurt so much.
The nurse/medic brought in a breakfast tray and set it up for Bridget to eat... She tried to explain to the nurse/medic that she didn't really eat in the morning but Bridget could see she was in a loosing battle so she ate in silence. The doctor came in a little later and was pleased about everything and especially the gunshot wound. Later on Bridget was given some crutches and allowed to try and walk on them. Her body armor and everything else except for 1 Glock 9mm and an extra clip was gone... Her clothing stank of the sewers and they were being cleaned right now.
Meantime she hoped Sanchez was all right and about those crazy lycans charging like that... and the cresent moon medallions. Something was up and she needed to find out what.

Bridget learned quickly how to navigate on crutches and then went looking for the Head of this place. After asking a few questions from the other hunters here she was able to find out where his office was and even his name; William Jackson. The door to his office was open and when she looked in Bridget saw the man who was evidently buried beneath paperwork among other things(phone calls). Bridget knocked on the door frame several times to get William''s attention before deciding to venture into his office. She hobbled up to his desk and cleared her throat rather loudly and waited for William to look up. She repeated the clearing of the throat and on the second try he looked up and saw Bridget standing there. With a smile on her face she held out her left hand and said "Hello Mr. Jackson...my name is Bridget Sommers; freelancer by trade and ''HUNTER'' by choice."

Will was busy going through his paperwork, trying to sort out the mess on his desk. Damn it. First the Lunites, now this mess! If we're lucky, we'll just barely be able to get back up to most of our strength by the end of the week. Assuming we take no casualties of course. Sigh. Why me?
Will was startled out of his thoughts by the sound of someone clearing their throat in front of him. His head jerked up, and he saw another young woman. If he recalled correctly, he'd seen her resting in the medical rooms when he was last down there. She quickly introduced herself, and he smiled. "Pleasure to meet you. I'm Will Jackson, the boss around here. I see that you're a new Hunter in town. Anything I can do to help you settle in? Do you need a place to live or something? Perhaps you have some questions. You you have anything you need to ask me?"
Subtly, Will was slowly pushing the paperwork aside. This was far more preferable than staring at processed sheets of dead trees.

Bridget looked at Will and said. "Thanks for all the offers but i've found a place to settle into and have been giving myself the five cent tour... This is quite a place you've put together here and i didn't think there would be this many hunters even for the size of New York City. I did notice that there seems to be a rather large presence of lycanthropes in the city... a friend and I bagged at least seven in the sewers near Battery Park. We had to leave because from the sounds coming from the tunnels it was going to be our last stand if we stayed. That's where i got shot in the leg ...getting out of there. "Those lycans were sporting AK47s and acted totally off the wall; they seemed to not care if they got shot or not as long as they got to us."" But I'm sure you know more about what's going on than I ever would." she said. "I'll be leaving you to your work and continue my tour..but perhaps we could get together for lunch later and you can answer a few questions then." With that Bridget turned around and hobbled out the door to continue her exploration of Haven.

As the newest Huntress left, some of the words she said bounced around in his head. Lycans... sewers... AK-47's.... SHE'S STUMBLED UPON THE LUNITES BASE!!! This is excellent news! As soon as we have the chance we can strike at them and crush them! But first... sigh... I've gotta get back to my paperwork. Why me? Alright let's see, I can get a BMP-2 on the black market in a couple of days...
