What is Cortosis? Some kind of lightsaber deflecting material, I take it, but, is there anything else?

HereticX What is Cortosis? Some kind of lightsaber deflecting material, I take it, but, is there anything else? Cortosis. One of several metals that is capable of deflecting a lightsaber. The odd thing about cortosis is that some of the purest ore of it will actually "short" the lightsaber out, due to its atomic structure. However, such pure ore often only works in massive quantities, and is very rare to find. It is a metal that has the same tendencies as titanium: Brittle, somewhat strong, low malleability. Other metals known to deflect, or possibly stop a lightsaber are: Mandelorian Iron.

There's more than one kind of armor. But that matters little really.
