Lightning Shadow X The crow chuckled slightly and then hopped onto a small rock next to the cub, smiling softly at him as she cleaned a glob of mud from her feather. "Because...I know you wouldn't hurt me...a child as young as you shouldn't even be away from his mother...where is she Athari?" She then turned her head as she heard her companion walking into the mud, squeaking slightly as she walked into the endless darkness of the never ending rain. "Chakavu?...CHAKAVU!!!"

Vashtya Lightning Shadow X The crow chuckled slightly and then hopped onto a small rock next to the cub, smiling softly at him as she cleaned a glob of mud from her feather. "Because...I know you wouldn't hurt me...a child as young as you shouldn't even be away from his mother...where is she Athari?" The crow sighed and then gently placed a wing over the cubs head smiling at him, her head turning to the small ball of orange fur that had just now plopped herself deep into the mud. "It's hard to adapt to change...I know...my young friend Taku here has lost her parents...haven't you Taku?" The small ball of orange fur walked the best she could towards the two, a pair of small green lamplike eyes staring at the cub slightly and smiling sadly at the crows words. "Y-yes...I have....a long time ago...*sniff*....uhmmm by the way....what's your name?"

Lightning Shadow X The crow sighed and then gently placed a wing over the cubs head smiling at him, her head turning to the small ball of orange fur that had just now plopped herself deep into the mud. "It's hard to adapt to change...I know...my young friend Taku here has lost her parents...haven't you Taku?" The small ball of orange fur walked the best she could towards the two, a pair of small green lamplike eyes staring at the cub slightly and smiling sadly at the crows words. "Y-yes...I have....a long time ago...*sniff*....uhmmm by the way....what's your name?"

Taku noticed him taking her lead and drying himself, but she just ignored it and continued to clean herself as she heard the crow cawing softly with each lightning that blasted from the heavens. "First I'm sick of the desert being dry...then I'm sick of the rain..." She sighed before curling up and looking out into the rain swept valley.

Taku snuggled into the warm fur of her tail, shuddering in the cold of the raindrops that trickled down her back. The crow in the tree crowed quietly to herself, before she turned and noticed a white owl talking to a creature below them. It took a while until her eyes became fixed on the golden coat of the creature and she became wide eye'd.
"I don't believe it...Mufa-"
The loud crack of lightning silenced her before a small squeal of terror cut through the sound of the white lightning, Taku from the shelter, running into the darkness afraid. But it wasn't long before she colided head first with a huge leg of soemthing, she looked up and whimpered at the sight of a huge lion that was illuminated by the lightning.

((Ick, had to edit. ^ ^; Sorry about the quick apperance. x.x I'll be back later if you guys are still around.))
-Mufasa's ears flicked gently as the soft commotion touched his ears. The rain softened alot of the noise around, so the fact that he heard anything let him onto the knowledge that they were close, and his eyes gently began to search for whatever was causing it. He'd seen the young ones approach and quickly seek shelter without his notice, silently watching with something of an amused. Opening his mouth to speak he was quickly interupted with the fox's bump into his haunches, and the squeal of terror.- "Little one!? Calm down, calm down. I know the lightening is scary, but you're safe underneath the tree."

Taku shuddered softly as she looked up at him, she still didn't know that there where other lions that where better then the ones that the firekin had, she whimpered softly and flattened her ears. The crow flew down onto a lower branch and looked at Mufasa. "It isn't that lord...the child's parents where murdered by the firkin lions...she's been traumatised by them ever since..." She looked at Taku sadly, her small lamplike eyes staring up at the lion, her body seemed like a small groundhog compared to his.
