Mie-tanuki ((S'okay. x3 ))
((Levvy, please read this.))
SHadi opened his mouth, about to answer when a sudden pain shot through his spine and skull. A surprised gasp escaped his lips before he could stop it and he reflexively jerked forward slightly, hands moving to grasp his temples. His deep blue eyes were wide open, pain, fear, confusion and shock evident in his expression. Ger... was... what had happened to Gervain?!? Quickly, Shadi grabbed his cell phone from his pocket - luckily it was there and not in his bag - and hit the speed dial for Ger - the only number he had in his phone. He waited breathlessly for Gervain to pick up, all axiety focused on his partner's health. He might not be fond of Gervain at normal times, but... but... he... he didn't have anyone else. And, selfish or not, he was also afraid of losing time from his life... Shadi was very afraid of dying. That was why he was with Ger, why he could never leave him - because Gervain could protect him....
Ger finally picked up. He had let the tone ring a couple times before finally reaching into his pocket and snapping his clam-shell cell open. "...Yes?" he asked, his voice pained.
"G-Ger..." Shadi stammered. "Ger, are you alright?" he asked, his face showing releif that the other had actually answered.
"...I suppose." Gervain seemed a little... amused that Shadi was so worried about him - especially as Shadi had been quite angry at him only a little bit earlier. He allowed a small smile to creep across his lips. "I got into a bit of trouble... but things are fine now." Brice just watched, arms crossed over his chest as he listened to Shadi's half of the conversation. Well that had been interesting... and most definately another reason to think he could be a mage. Along with this 'Ger' person.
"I'm guessing you didn't get a local from him before he hung up?" Brice asked, not expecting anything. The biggest thing he hated about being a mage himself was, there was no profit in being one. If someone found out you were in danger, and that spelled lots of trouble. What was the point of killing other mages anyway. It would make more sense to form groups... or so Brice thought. Well what can you do?

Kalen sat in front of the open refrigerator door and blinked in the sudden dim light. 's**t. What the--' Hearing Skyy's voice call from the other room, a realization hit Kalen. His power had just gone out. Hopefully.. it was only a fuse... but Kalen knew he couldn't have such luck. Grabbing the beer and a wine cooler, he shut the fridge door with a shudder from the excess cool air.
"No," he replied, wheeling himself back into the room. It was so dim, he could barely make out the silhouette of the sofa. "I think a fuse is blown... or something." At that point his street light popped off too, shrouding the apartment in complete darkness. Swearing softly, Kalen groped his way to the couch until his hand connected with with something soft. The redhaired teen immediately recoiled once he realized he'd just groped the other's leg. "Ah. Sorry... I, um, ... thought you were the couch and.. nevermind." He dismissed it and slipped the cold beer into the Skyy's lap.
Finally reaching for a candle on the cocktail table, he placed two fingers on the wick and snapped, igniting a flame immediately. He barely gave any thought to the action for it was so commonly used. "Sorry about the power... but I don't think it's going to be on for awhile. It hopefully will be back on in an hour unless the building owner already went home. You can use my cell til' then," he murmured.

Maus Kaut Brice just watched, arms crossed over his chest as he listened to Shadi's half of the conversation.
Shadi shook his head, looking worried. "N-no... Ger... he was talking to someone... and he... he sounds bad. I've never heard him ever try and dismiss any opportunity for me to try and find him... because that almost never happens and-" Shadi stopped suddenly, cutting off his own frightened voice. He was speaking too much of his own personal life. If he spoke more... Well, one could never tell any more. Not about anything. "I just... I just mean he sounded like he was having trouble breathing..." he murmured, his eyes closing as he turned his gaze down and away from the other. "I... I need to find him, I think... hold on..." He looked back down at his cell phone, scrolling through various options before selecting one. Wasn't this phone supposed to be able to locate his friends - or, rather, "friend" - as long as their phone was on? He wrinkled his brow in concentration and confusion, trying to find whatever it was that would help him find his partner. He was quite lost. Finally, he looked up and, with a slightly pleading expression on his face, he asked, "Uhmmm... do you... do you know how to use this...?"

Skyy could more hear than see Kalen approach, his eyes still taking their precious time to adjust to the unannounced darkness. His brows rose when he felt the unexpected hand on his leg. "Woah, hey.. Do you always feel your couch up so sensually or am I just a special occasion?" he asked teasingly, pulling the drink out of his lap. He was beginning to warm up to this boy Kalen, he believed, despite his, at times what he would consider, odd behavior. Or maybe it was just his friendly side kicking in..
The cap of the beer came off with a quick twist and he took a long swig. The new light of the candle reflected in the deep, dark pools of his eyes uncomfortably at first before he adjusted once more. Had Kalen just lit that with a match? he wondered, staring curiously at the flame. He had heard no strike or seen any stick. "Ehh, thanks," he said absently, taking yet another chug of the beverage. Maybe it was just his mind messing with him.
"Some day this has turned out to be, huh?" he asked.

((Sorry for taking so long, I went away for the weekend o.o; )) "You're a jackass! You can't just come in, f*ck up my house, and then meander off like nothing happened, what the f*ck, man?! I've got no where to go!" Leif snarled, then looked down, his black locks falling into his eyes in the perfect picture of depression. He cursed himself, his curiousity, and this new magic that flowed through his viens. A short sigh escaped his nose, and he lifted his head again. No way he was going to sit there looking sad while this beat-up a*****e talked on his cell phone and put on that I'm-so-much-better-than-you face. Pale green eyes met his opponent's. He didn't want anymore fighting, but he had nothing else to do. His house was destroyed, and there was nothing else he could do.

Kalen blushed slightly in the darkness. "I said I didn't mean to.." he mumbled, taking the candle and steering over to his chair. He easily fished his cell out of the messenger bag and flipped it open. "Here," he said, handing him the phone.
Once it was accepted, Kalen moved to take the wine cooler from his lap and twisted the top off. He took a drink, feeling the cool liquid slid down his warm throat. He set the candle on the nearby table and shifted uncomfortably in his wheelchair. "Mhm. Some day," he murmured, taking another large gulp of the fluid. He smiled softly to himself. "I think I earned this one," Kalen joked, referring to the beverage. In fact, barely any of the alcohol was consumed by Kalen himself. But his uncle had just had a party and sent him home with 3 cases. At least they were going to some use.
He waited quietly for the other to complete the call, trying to think of something else to say.

He didn't want anymore fighting, but he had nothing else to do. His house was destroyed, and there was nothing else he could do. And it was then that Gervain realised that, even if it was only a slight one, he had an advantage over this man. The other was physically stronger - at lest, less beat up - and surging with energy and power, but Gervain had his own power. Knowledge. The other couldn't - or, at least, wouldn't - kill him until he got answers. This man seemed very curious - and, after all, he had every right to be. No one who had just had everything they had known as reality - the conceptions of magic, life, strength - destroyed wouldn't be curious. "Mmm... that's pretty much normal," Gervain said with a bit of a shrug. "Anyway, if you hadn't struggled and just died easily, yor house wouldn't be destroyed. I'm very clean with business when I get cooperation." The Necromancer was obviously quite a bit irked that he hadn't been able to catch the other affectively unnaware. Stealth was something he usually prided himself. He wouldn;'t come out and tell the other anything. He would have to ask, to pry... and he would have to do it on Gervain's terms - or, at least, that was what he hoped. The other didn't seem to eager to fight or to kill. And Gervain would not answer any questions unless his partner was there. It was just one of those paranoid insecurities that had been etched into his character.

Blaze_Vampiric Assassin "Video games? Never touch the things....Don't watch TV neither....." Cole replied with a smirk. He then quickly reached out to grab Shiyaa's arm, missing slightly and brushing against his skin. Cole's body temperature being quite low, about fifteen degrees too low for a normal human's body. "Do I detect a hint of nervousness? Why? I can see there's something you're not telling me...." Cole said with a evil grin. Now...I just have to trick him into using his magic.... Cole thought. Shiyaa shivered at the touch, giving the man an icy look. Crossing his arms, he shook his head," I've got no idea what you're talking about. Do you want to order or not?" Shiyaa growled. " Oh....Mama can't be a mage, though...they aren't real....." He said a little sadly. He was giving the man questioning his 'mother' a confused look.

"No...I'll not order....." Cole said, then he gestured at a nearby coffee cup and it shattered as the coffee inside it froze solid. "And you know precisely what I'm talking about...." Cole said with a mischevious grin as he reached out and grabbed Shiyaa by the front of his shirt.

"Mmn," Skyy mummed while drinking in such a way as if to say 'Oh, sure' with Kalen's defensive tone. With the cellphone in his hand, he examined it, quick to learn which button was which. Not much different than his own, he noted mentally. "If you're going to get into the subject of earning our drinks, you may as well break open the whole case. It's been a rough and very tedious day.. or at least I think it has." He hid a slight frown behind the lip of the bottle before draining the rest of the bottle in one swig. Setting the empty glass between his legs, his fingers once more dialed the number to his house.
It picked up by the second ring.
"Hey, Mike. Yeah, it's me," he started, resting back on the couch. "No, I left with a.. friend. You wouldn't know him.. I wouldn't necessarilly say 'fatal'. Better than I expected, though. Just give the confirmation.. Regretfully, no. Then again, there was much I could do to check. Yep, looks like you're going shopping. No questions, just do it. Bye!" And he hung up the phone.
"Persuasion," he said with a grin. "A God-given gift." In his case, it was more like he was slightly spoiled. His family back home often sent his uncle money for having taken Skyy along with him, and the youth expected a good wad of the said cash to go towards himself.

Shiyaa stared blankly, then grabbed the mans hand, his body temprature increasing. The crossdresser glared, " I do not wish to fight with you. I have no reason to..." He gripped Cole's hand tighter, then let go.

Kaya stood up and started to leave. The waitress that he'd thought was looking for Shiyaa didn't seem to have bothered. As he started to leave, he bumped into Shiyaa fom behind without realizing it was him at first."Oh, Shiyaa. Hel.....Am I interupting something?" he asked as his eyes traveled over the Shiyaa, Cole and the boy that was with them."He's not giving you a hard time is he?" he asked, starting to feel extremely defensive for some reason.

Kaya grabbed Cole's hand and applying pressure between his thumb and wrist, He pulled the man's hand off Shiyaa's shirt. He leaned in close to Cole and muttered clearly, plenty loudly enough for any one to hear who cared to listen."Never piss off a raven. We stand for misfortune and ultimately, death. If you ever lay a hand on Shiyaa again, you won't live long enough to regret it". By now his crimson locks were flowing around his face due to his subconcious inability to control his magic. His emerald eyes seemed to be glowing in the faint amount of light that reached his face."You'd do wisely to listen, lest you pay for your ignorance."

"You'll not touch me....you'll regret trying....I do what I want...regardless of what others think...." Cole laughed maniacly. He then formed a sword out of frozen water vapor in his left hand, smirking as he slashed it through the air to his left side, away from everyone else. What a fool.... Cole thought.
