She tied the name out in her mind, Yoshimitsu..., "I'm not officially an assasin, I'd probably be better as a bounty hunter..." She was lookign off towards Osaka now.

The door creaked, small feet ran across the room on the other side of the door. The door silently swung wide open, a shadow moved through the room. A childs sobbing could be heard underneath the bed. The silent shadow moved towards the bed. Finally the man and woman sitting on the bed could see what the shadow was, it was a woman, skin pale, hair black and shining. The woman moved her finger in front of her lips, suggesting they should remain quiet, and so they did. Two black cobras moved through the air and the wall above the bodies was colored red. Still the only sound heard was the low sobbing of the child underneath the bed. The woman now crouched in front of the bed, she stared singing a lullaby. Slowly the sobbing stopped and two black pearls could be seen underneath the bed.
"Hello little one... what are you doing there?" The woman asked.
"Not-hing . . . hiding, there was something scary here a while ago..." The child moved closer towards the woman.
"Now now, I don't see anything scary here anymore. I'm sure it's gone away already." The woman confirmed with a big smile, she offered her hand to the child. "I'm sure you can come out now."
The child grabbed her hand and crawled out from underneath the bed.
"Good girl." Yumi laughed, her piercing green eyes flashed... and so did something black.

Chaos slowly made his way through and finally found out about the hideout from the inn goers. There were some drunk Shensengumi men there...foolish...but then again so were many of the Meiji...Chaos left the inn and headed to the house. He knocked on the door and the woman opened it. He pushed past her and she seemed bewildered. Chaos opened the door and looked in on the few men still remaining. They looked up wondering who it was and they were greatly confused. Not for long though...His silver weapons flashed and they no longer wondered...because they were dead. He turned and walked to the door exit. The woman started to nag but only got out two words before she didn't speak any longer. He closed the door behind him and went back to the inn completely clean of blood...In all he had killed 8 people tonight. Chaos had killed the boy, doctor, the woman, and 5 of the Shensengumi spies and assasains...he was doing well and had finished his mission. He had to make them leave that house. He would leave in the morning...
Yoshimitsu smiled nodding slightly as a few of his yojimbo's came to guard him as well as a few ninja's in the shrubbery. He spoke with the girl, Lotus, as they journeyed back toward Osaka.

So that's why I felt funny...She thought, looking over the figures who seemed to materialize out of nowhere, "Where has Chaos gone?" She could still hear/feel his heartbeat, she felt it quicken for the second time but only a bit, if it was anythign it was probably excitement, adrenaline.

Yoshimitsu looked at the and then at the town they had long passed. "He's...on an assignment" He smiled at her and nodded to Osaka in the distance. "We should reach Osaka by tommorow if we keep moving at this pace." He smiled at her and nodded looking back ahead of them.

I could reach it faster....She thought to herself, I miss Chaos. She suddenly heard herself think and she gasped adn looked aroudn as if she'd said it aloud. Of course no one had, so she sat still starign at her hands, red with humiliation.

Yoshimitsu travelled through the night with Lotus and spoke with her as they walked into the city and made their way to his 'home' or manor as it were. He nodded to her waving his hand. Please come with me and I'll find out where I can put you ne?"
Chaos opened his eyes when the first light broke. He rose and left the inn leaving his payment to the innkeeper. He was gone from that small city and headed to Osaka with speed rivaled by few...if any. He would arrive sometime around noon...only an hour behind Yoshimitsu and company.

"I see you've completed your missions already," Kana, the man who had sent her on her missions appeared behind Yumi.
"Oh yes, no problem there." Yumi said happily, without turning around. She continued washing her kimono.
"You really have changed, before you wouldn't have touched a child. You would've killed the parents secretly and quickly... and more... descretely, only with a stab in the back or something. Then you would've hidden the parents so that the children wouldn't get a nasty surprise finding them." He watched Yumi wash the kimono. "Your kimono would have bloodstains all over it from carrying the bodies and you would burn it as soon as possible. Now that I think about it, you weren't very effective." He laughed, but his eyes clearly didn't.
"Yes, I've realized the many mistakes I've taken... now I'm a better and faster assassin than ever before."
"Better... you're certainly more cold hearted than before..." Kana sighed. "Well the b*****d Shino seems to be quite impressed by your work. He's moving you up in rank... soon you'll be more powerfull than I am." Kana threw a new bunch of papers to Yumi, rather violently. "Just don't get too kocky, girly. You have many enemies and you're getting more as you advance. It's lonely on the top. We've been having some Shinsengumi guys moaning here again. They want us to join them... those bastards. If we'd join them, they'd makes us follow their rules and there's no way I'm ever going to do that." Kana spitted on the floor.
Now finally Yumi turned around. "They're still better than the Meji though."
"I agree, why change things? How can they think the world'll be better if it changes? But things're never going to be the same after this war anyway..."
"Why can't things be just as they used to be?" With those words Yumi disappeared.
"I don't know... and good luck!" Kana whispered behind her.

Chaos walked in and met Yoshimitsu alone and received his next assignment. His grey eyes glistened slightly. "I'll leave now" Yoshimitsu spoke having put Lotus in her own room till he could find a good assignment for her. "What about the girl...Lotus?" Chaos stopped at the door and looked back at him. "I trust you'll put her in a good place" He turned and walked from the door disappearing into the darkness to go to his next assignment. He was to kill again...Takogato...a rich Shensengumi official...he was a pestilence and one of the head leaders in the ring of the Shensengumi...a fighter, but not that powerful. Chaos was to kill him without to much commotion so his body would be found in the morning. A war...revolution...one of Cold and Heat...spies and espionage while still deeply involved with full frontal fights against each other.

Lotus sat in her room staring at nothing. There was suddenly a tingle at the back of her neck. She ignored it, inspecting her room mentally but then the tingling came with more urgency and she gasped realizing what it meant. She exploded from her room and shot down the hallway. She passed a doorway adn spotted Yoshimitsu and skidded to a halt and stood in the doorway, eyes bright and cheeks flushed with excitement, "Chaos...here?" She gasped out.

Yoshimitsu looked back at her from his desk and nodded to the door. "Yeah...he was...he left about 30 seconds ago for his next mission...I tried to keep him here but he said he trusted you to my hands for now." He shrugs and waves his hand slightly pulling out a folder and holding it out to her. "And I think I have a mission for you if you're willing to accept it...it deals with a man named Hosakoto...he is a Shensengumi spy who hid in our ranks...he should be on vacation right now...I need you to take him out in the name of Shensengumi if you can...or as an accident...what have you. Alright?" Yoshimitsu looks up at her hoping she would accept the assignment. It was a good one that would earn her keep for a while.

Lotus's eyes went completly dead suddenly and she moved into the room on soudless feet, took the folder, not saying word, she was gone. She looked over the contents of the folder, memorized it adn destroyed it(?). She took off from teh manor.

Yoshimitsu watched her and sighed knowing he could do nothing for her. He began to slowly shuffle through the few folders and speaking with people and going to his appointments.
Chaos moved quickly and arrived at the town soon. He would wait though. No need to rush on this one...no real need at all...

Lotus found her target quite quickly, she knocked out one of the geisha's and went in her place as "the new girl" She was given Hasakoto to entertain. Her mother had taught her about the custom of geisha's and her knowledge came flooding back as she performed the tea ceremony. Hasakoto was obviously not interested in the tea but she coaxed him to drink the brew. A few seconds later he was grasping at his throat, his face turnign red, the blue, his face bulging. She looked down at her lap and he finally collapsed without a sound. She striped his clothes and put him under the covers. She left silently, out the back and made her way back to the manor, her clothes different...again.

Yoshimitsu wasn't expecting her back so fast and blinked when she walked in. He smiled and tipped his head. "Well done I suppose...you can go to your room for now...I'll have another assignment for you tommorow." He then went back to 'entertaining' his guests with talk.
Chaos found an inn and went to stay in it. He would keep watch on the manor for a day or two and then attack. After he would kill the old man he would leave...of course burning the manor down in the process...
