Without even looking at her friends, Quinn smiled and stood up straighter. "I am certain. But it saddens me that you do not recognize true friendship when you see it. Just remember what I said, and all shall be well."
With that, she turned and shuffled back to her friends, wondering how she was going to explain this little addition.

James shrugged, "You really didn't think about it..." he told her, though he did not leave. He didn't follow Quinn either, he merely kept his eyes on her, waiting to see what the goon squad had up their sleeves. After all, they were fairly confident for really knowing about nothing about anyone, or anything.
"Hmph.. their confidence has no basis... and I must admit that makes me a little jealous," he muttered to himself, shaking his head slowly.

Sika watched as Merrick conversed with the other man then trailed her gaze towards the onion knight. She hadn't really noticed him before, and as he made his way towards another part of the temple, or outside of it maybe.
Elazu looked up at Sika and noticed she wasn't paying attention to him. He frowned and tugged upona dangling strand of her long blonde hair. His headache was getting slightly more annoying again, they were standing around and doing nothing for a bit too long.
Sika winced then looked down at Elazu, smiling sheepishly as he frowned back up at her. She turned her attention back toward Merrick and smiled, " I believe that does sound like a good idea. Shall we be off then? Elazu seems to be getting a bit restless is all..."

Ourania smiled in welcome at Quinn, ceasing to stroke the velveteen fur between Basape's ears when she noted that the woman seemed a bit upset. "What is it, Quinn?" She asked with slight concern, knowing that it was hard to make the candy-obsessed girl sulk.

Quinn whispered and pointed at the sulking man she had left across the room, "The guy was mean to me and he called me names and he called you names and he said that we couldnt trust eachother and... and ... he's comming with us." She finished dejectedly, ashamed she had agreed to let the man come now that she had returned to the fold of her friends.

The summoner blinked, exchanging a glance with her Elysian while she considered Quinn's jumbled statement. "Umm... perhaps he's just in a bad mood, Quinn. It's a rather serious time and people say things that they don't really mean in heated moments. Don't worry about it, okay? This will work out..."
Hopefully. Ourania added mentally, even as she moved to clasp Quinn's shoulder in a gesture of assurance.

"You seem to be reputable sources to ME," Odilen said huffily. "No parlor tricks or tall tales here. Besides, we know each other well enough. It's his own call if he wishes to be suspicious... and it might be useful," she admitted. "When I was first setting out to travel, I had to learn suspicion myself. Not all stories are true. Perhaps that will grant him some discernment. Of course, I'd have to add him into the title.... Being the adventures of the Bard Odilen, and etc..."

Quinn shook her head and snuggled into Oura, "Oh no, he meant it... but that's ok. If we come across any danger, I'm planning on using him as a human shield." She surveyed her friends and sighed. "Alright everyone. Ready to go to Durem?"

"I am. Na'ir will fly me, so I'll meet you guys there." The pale woman smiled at Quinn, giving the affectionate woman a few tender pats, hoping that her feelings weren't too wounded at the man's implications. "There's this lovely little place called Shade's Cafe that's in the heart of town; we can branch out from there if that's alright with you guys."

"Ready when you are," Odilen nodded. "How will we get there? I can follow on Kez, my... other chocobo," she amended, as BoCo prepared to take offense.

"Hmph, so are we ready to go?" The cold man asked, looking over the bard, and company from behind his draconic helm, his gaze seeming steady and cold as he looked over each and every one of them. Finally he nodded to himself, "Shade Cafe... Durem... correct?"
"I'll follow whichever one of you decided to be the leader of this crew, so come on, and lets hurry. Preferably without waking up that large, thing, in the doorway," he said, looking back at the stupid, brutish half orge, that was sleeping soundly, blocking off the entrance.

Roger looked over towards Merrick, then Niva, then Sika, seeing the somewhat friendly faces. They did have something to do, right? Not that he was entirely certain how to find these mages, or how to find the thieves at that matter... he had been blindfolded and lead on a merry little go around. Still maybe if he just made it known he was looking for her, she would find him? It was all the man had going for him.
"Um... good... lets go to Durem then... ask around near where I last saw her... she doesn't exactly seem like the kinda person you forget, so I'm sure we'll pick up something..." he muttered, hs gaze drifting down to the floor, and then over to the large half ogre in the doorway. He flinched abit, and motioned for the puffy noble to lead the way out.

"Alright!" Merrick said, with a bit more enthusiasm than was strictly necessary. "To Durem we go! If all of you are ready, let us make haste."
So saying, he grabbed Sasha's reins and led the horse out of the temple, then in the general direction of Durem.

Niva flashed a smile to the strange, shy, twitchy man before she hurried off after Merrick. Slowly he inches her way around the sleeping half ogre, careful not to wake him. Finally she got around, and followed Merrick and his horse.
[To Outside the Temple, right?]

((Right, outside the temple next.))
Finally Roger swallowed, trying to banish his fear down to the deep, dark pit of his stomach as he moved closer to the rather large, rather deadly looking brute of a creature. The smell gagged him, nearly causing him to choke as he worked his way around the bulk. Finally, he broke through, back into the clean, clear, suddenly completel overgrown forest. Roger shook his head, following after the trail of the horse, as it was easiest to pick out.
